In India, we never find empty streets as lanes, bylanes teeming with people all the time, day in day out, hence 😉 we wouldn't be scared and frightened by stalkers. Even if you do by a rare chance there would be people coming to your rescue with just one cry. What a nice place to live.
So I work at a shelter in a small town and my place is across town so I’ve had something like this happen I ended up getting stabbed and now carry a pocket knife
Salvo pequeños hechos anecdóticos como las 34.000 denuncias por violación en 2018, por ejemplo (y son sólo las reportadas...) un país segurísimo. Seguramente las 34.000 mujeres gritaron y fueron auxiliadas de inmediato...
I think I know what the inspiration for this was! Way back in the before times there was an episode of Tatort (German detective show) where a serial killer would knock on people's doors at night. These people would look through the peephole and when they did a drill on the other side would drill through the glass and into their eyes. The killer would then pack up and leave, leaving only the drill bit and the victim stuck to the door. That episode haunted me for years.
@@erickurielmoralescruz500 I can't remember; I was still little at the time. Although I'm fairly confident it was Tatort, it could've probably been any of the detective/police shows airing on German TV around the mid to late 2000s. There is also a small chance it could've been Swedish or Norwegian, since my parents used to watch that as well, however I pretty sure the detectives spoke German. There is a very very slim chance it was Dutch, since we recently moved there. But they weren't into Dutch shows at the time. If you want a mental picture then I can give you this: The drill was somewhat big, not unlike the drill in Payday 2 or something you'd see in a Saw movie. It seemed to be securely attached to the door until the killer removed it after the job was done. I remember 2 victims. One where we only see the aftermath, another where we see the action unfold (later in the episode I think). The victim would walk to the door nervously, as he or she looks into the peephole we get a close up of it. The camera would close in on the all black peephole until it cuts to the drill drilling into his or her eyes affixing them to the door. This victim was wearing grey or white clothes and may have had a dog. My memory is pretty spotty, so this is the best I can do.
@@susannoulton7634 If you're curious you can probably ask around on Tipofmytongue. They can probably tell you exactly what it is in a heartbeat. Everything I've provided is everything I remember. The only thing to add is that the Germans love to dub everything. So should it be a foreign show from the UK or US then it would've likely been dubbed. Best of luck.
This film really hinges on how well it executes at the end. I’d definitely say they nailed it. I hope this is successful and opens the door for future shorts.
This was excellent. Everything was laid out in the beginning and came full circle. I love when horror craft is able to foreshadow its reveals but does so by keeping it in the dark for us to have an epiphany at the end.
This was well made but she should've just kept on going instead of just stopping and turning around but on a scale from 1 to 10 this definitely gets a 10 great story and the acting was pretty good as well thanks for posting this
This is actually really really smart. The lack of dialogue makes it more suspenseful and the whole story is just awesome because I was really like "this girl is so dumb, look through the peephole! He's gonna stab you!!" and then boom. It uses something that we don't suspect and actually want to happen and turns it on its head. Amazing.
I think it's so effective because you're thinking "I'd look through the peephole to make sure it's safe", and the video shows you, you would die if it were you in this scenario, as so many of us would...
The scary part is, I thought peep holes were supposed to be safe and actually makes it easier for you to know what’s on the other side in a safe way who would’ve thunk it could also be your end
Oh great, not only did she make eye 👀 contact, but now the psychopath knows where she lives. Nope. OMG 😱 now this had a plot twist I wasn't expecting. SICK!!! AWESOME FILM. I MEAN 5 STARS ALL NIGHT LONG.
Thank you for sharing your video, I loved it! Nice, simple, and effective. I didn't see the ending coming, usually looking through the peephole is a smarter choice than opening the door, but I guess in this case both of those options were equally bad!
Marvelous!! The cat or the kind of after showing the man disappeared with a blood dripping from the blade in his hand following the woman is so spooky as to ran my blood freeze and afterwards the sling into the eye is unmatched cleverness to evoke horror at its best!!
The killer cant be able to look inside the house through the peephole from outside,so how can he be so sure that the women has walked close and prepare to look outside through the peephole?
She is still wearing her shoes and her steps are quite loud, so he can hear that she has reached the door. Then she begins to open the door -- he hears that too and waits. But then the door doesen't open and it's quiet, so chances are good she is looking through the peephole now. Of course he can't be 100% sure, but it worked anyway.

Fr! And tbh if I saw a weird looking creepy dude just standing somewhere randomly in my way, I wouldn't even walk past them!
