  • Luis Enrique’s PSG fell to defeat at home to Barcelona on Wednesday night, losing 3-2 in their Champions League quarter final first leg. The loss was their first in 27 games this season.
Kylian Mbappe struggled to make an impact in the kind of game he’s been renowned for owning in previous years, is he at risk of seeing his PSG career end with a whimper?
As for Enrique, is he the man to finally push the Parisians over the line to become a serious contender in years to come?
Ayo Akinwolere is joined by The Athletic's Peter Rutzler as well as Pierre-Etienne Minonzio of L'Equipe.

Psg's fate in regards to the Champion's League is tied to Ligue 1. They will only win it if the competition and over all health of the league increases. They need to be tested in France first. Atm no other team can test and prepare them domestically to face tougher competition in Europe.

The reason why PSG is so bad is because all I hear is if Mbappe is having his day will get through. THIS IS A TEAM SPORT!! Did you forget Barca have Lewandowski that already beat Mbappe in a final. We already say what happens of Raphinha is having his day. Now imagine if Lewandowski is having his day in the second leg? And Lamin Yamal look timid yesterday but at home with his home fans he'll be a lot more comfortable playing next game.

To be fair even though PSG has changed after their own Galacticos era, they still look pretty decent/very good, because they play a little different and focus more on youngsters maybe. And if you add Mbappe to the team why cant PSG advance, right? I definitely think it is possible for PSG to progress further to the semifinal of course, but it depends alot on Mr. Kylian Mbappé, arguably the best footballer in the world at the moment💯⚽👏🤙⚽
