You really know how to write a subtitle with sex appeal, Jon.
"There's fish up there, lets go get ourselves some fish, hat's finite, we can totally fish it out...but I kinda don't care."
The attitude of every government ever regarding every natural resource ever.
if you're still believing in democracy at this point, why separating people from the government that they're represented by?
in fact, that's been a myth in recent years. yes it worked that way for the most part of the 20th century, and still does for the most part of the developing world, however, EU is so hard core regulating any human activity that has ecological impact (and rightfully so), that this has become one of those specifically unmentioned things in a very long Brexit checklist (it's a long and politically charged story, but in its essence Brexit is all about UK being economically inhibited by the EU, publicly, though IMHO there are more sinister motives lurking just around the corner, considering military and political alliances and such).
@@milanstevic8424 he speaks the language of the gods
28:20 - “We’re going to build a bypass”
To the people of virtual town of Aberdovy, I am so sorry for what you are about to endure...
30:40 *Zeppelin Field*
Livestream, livestream, livestream!
It's a bypass.
You've gotta build bypasses.
Wish this would be a series 😭 so relaxing!
A relaxing experience for us viewers, but it sounds like the most hellish nerve wrecking hour of Jon's week
@@TheFerwell that is a fair point!
SAME :C
As a rurally based family, mine has enough knowledge about terms to be offended by the farm misnaming, but not enough energy after spreading mulch all afternoon to care
when this game started i had transport tycoon flashbacks
sir, please stand in a very long line of people who have already noticed this "hard-to-observe" parallel with TT and Industry Giant.
it's been like this for years now, as this game is in EA for a while, and it's frankly getting boring.
now let me have a long, deep sigh and I'll be on my way.
Incoming video: Open TTD is better than you think.
Or, Jon plays Open TTD 'til the end of time.
I can't wait
SERIES! I would love a series, because you would love this series.
Micro management games and MATN is a match made in heaven! :D
Heaven knows nothing of matchmaking.
A.I do.
We need a 20 part series of this Game!!
If I remember correctly you don't need trucks for your water towers. They automatically send and collect water in their area of effect. You should deselect the "Send to" target on your water siphons and it would just work.
I had a MATN break and now I've come back and this channel is fresh for me again and I can watch all the videos and love them like I used to
My Birthday right now on 5th May, thanks for making it a good one with your posts.
Jon I love your series on city builders like this, and I wish you’d make a series out of one again!
I'm so unlucky! Every time I happen to have a Saturday off work you don't live stream ): but it's ok, I always watch them when you get them uploaded! Stay awesome
Jon I hope you have learned why most produce and livestock in the last hundred fifty is shipped directly onto rail cars. People eat a lot of food, and it takes a lot of horsepower to move it all.
Cant wait for next ep, really want a series in this
The Emperor of Roads strikes once again
A city-builder a day keeps Jon at bay
Matn: Finds a city builder / resource management game.
Ah shit here we go again
Love these types of videos
looks like my kind of game, thanks for the sneak peek.
Many thanks for the entertaining video! Giggled a few times!
He's a funny one, him. Also, Good game you've made.
Hey Dev. Great game thanks for your hard work
Damn you, you made me buy Two Point Hospital and now you just made me about to buy this game.
This is going to go well
20:48 NOO JON DON'T YOU KNOW COW PLANTS ARE DANGEROUS!?!?!?!?!?!
Would love to see a series on this
10/10 would watch again
I would watch a series of this game!
It does a few things differently. But it's effectively another version of Open TTD, Transport Fever and so on.
61 houses (so close) if 5 ppl per house then should be 305 ppl.
So in this town there should be about 982 ppl per house!
The queue for the toilet must be unbearable.
@@ZefVolk Like the traffic ingame i would think!
Simon Brandoné I don’t see what the problem there is, really... in fact, if your city doesn’t have 1000 people per household you’re wasting space
@@samreid6010 Well i never did say that it was a problem, i mean it would free up alot of space to farm !
If I know Jon, the big fancy house will have just one resident - His Eminent Royal Majesty and Supreme Mayoral Emperor, Jon the 1st - with everyone else crammed into the less fancy houses.
"I now know what a cow is" - Jon 2019
Please Please please make this a series!
Wouldn't mind watching him try Civilization 4's version of Colonization. That was also a game about supply and production lines.
I smell a long livestream waiting to happen.
You should play more ck2, and do a Rome restoration run.
You know what would improve your road network? A series of one way roads.
Also: livestream livestream livestream
You should play the battle of Polytopia I think you would like it.
I get certain "Freeways" vibes towards the end.
11:39 Careful, it's learning.
im getting a Industry Giant 2 vibe with this game
You bet!
You and me both.
after playing it, i can confirm it isn't quite there yet, it is actualy quite iffy to play this game sometimes
Okay, you seriously have to play Dwarf Fortress when it comes to Steam. It's understandable to skip it for now, but the upgraded graphics and mouse support will make it better.
This game really needs a way to say you need X per day, or Y per week. Everything being amount per random days makes things exceedingly difficult IMO
You should try Off world trading company then, see if it's your cup of tea
FACTORIO JON, CMON! its like all these games you love, but drugs
make this a series
This causes flashbacks to the Cities: Skylines series, time to make a one way road system? :D
was literally just thinking that. >_
There is a free demo for this game which convinced me to buy it
Jon, you should totally play Factorio. .____.
Can we get a series in this??
dang you should play open ttd (if you havent already)
Wow, OpenTTD looks good these days.
Jon, I think you really should've invested in one-way roads here.
Try the Shogun total war . Its awesome
Did they use the standard twitch subscribe sound for their "auction success" action?
I think the farmers will be alright. Used to, English farmers just called everything some variety of corn. The word corn existed before the whole New World thing happened.
I don’t know how but this reminds me of Rome total war
Buys permit for building in another city with more natural resources then gets stuck in gridlock
Series or stream pls
It’s Open TTD but modern! 😊
This game is nothing like OTTD. Played both, and both are very good games, but yeah, they only share the isometric viewpoint and transportation in common.
Momentary
Series series series series
Central Planning - the Game
Ah so G E O M E T R I C
19:57 surely that's the opposite of what you want to do...
Why would the waterworks deliver water to a farm by truck ? Is that a parralel dimension in which water pipes do not exist ? Thats grotesque !
Love how Jon forgot to name his Map. look at the top left
I want a series of this but with a really heavy starting restriction like the whole town is vegetarian or something
So it is kind of like a cross between Industry Giant 2 and Transport Tycoon?
reminds me of railroad tycoon
Jon & Roads....What could possibly go wrong
Does Jon play anything except city builders and strategy games these days? As someone who doesn't care about Total War, Imperator or any of the multitude of other games of that type, looking at the last few weeks' videos is rather depressing. He can and should play whatever he wants of course, and the views seem good so there's no reason to change that to suit me, but I can't be the only one.
This game never heard of water pipes
I love you Jon, I really do, but that is not how you pronounce Aberdovey. Dove like the bird, not dove like "I dove down the well"
Source: I live right next to the town in Wales lol
as a non native english speaker i cant see much of a difference between the two?
@@fromfin90 hello, I'm also not a native speaker. For me the biggest difference is the emphasis on O. In dove like the bird the O is short. In the other dove the O is longer. Dooove into the water. I think it makes sense?
Sofia Andersson it’s basically d-uh-v (the bird) and d-oh-v (the action)
@@nashdogg2k12 this helps, thanks you two
Please play more
series time
Could you please do a series on this?
Good kute
Wtf I live near a place called shoreham in real life? Are they real place names?
Southwark is a real place too. They probably just grabbed a list of town and city names for a random generator.
Yep - and even better, you can choose to have US or UK names in your game.
More Farmed. Cows But jon we need OIL !
Soooo, livesteam??
That's some serious potato farm you've got there. Get wrecked.
PLAY MORE
Play-through?
Ryse: Son of Yndustry
rather play CIV 5
ab er duv e
Try the Communist challange.
Essentially you have to have every city work together to make a Product.
I thought it was having a majority of people be starving to death while the ones in power die of diabetes
This is basically Workers and Resources but capitalist
Firsr
OpenTDD much better game
