So here's what we know so far: Son is driving Mom's car. Mom is elderly. Maybe Son lives with Mom and looks after her. Son has now become a sovcit, thus running the risk of Mom's car being impounded. Son is a bad son for doing this to his Mom.
Nailed it 👍
Mic drop
Yup, good old selfish fuckwit sov cit. Sums up perfectly.
Easily the most lenient Florida cop I've encountered...and I lived in Florida for two decades. How many times did this sovcit repeat his lame insurance (with Beck?) story?? I lost count after half a dozen.
Spot on,''You are a naughty naughty boy now go to your room."
Cop fail. If it’s not registered tow the car.
All uninsured or unregistered vehicles should be towed.
@@stefanlaskowski6660and cubed.
It depends on state statutes. (10th amendment). In some states, they will let them go as long as they're insured. Some states will just issue a citation even if they're uninsured and unregistered. I think that all states should remove any unregistered and uninsured vehicles from the road, but they have to follow their state laws.
I agree. And require a valid license, insurance and registration to collect it. Sell it if it isn’t collected within 30 days.
@@clescell6587he said if you get caught driving again your vehicle will be towed. They don’t give warnings for that in Florida. I don’t know why that cop didn’t tow it. Unless of course he drove off and he got pulled over again and it got towed but of course he wouldn’t record that 😂
That cop is putting my life at risk by allowing that fool back on the road. Shameful.
I hate sov cits but your comment is just silly. The guy is a fully licensed driver. He isn't drunk or impaired in any way. This cop isn't putting your life at risk lol. He might be putting your financial well being at risk, but not your life.
Being an uninsured and unregistered driver doesn't put you in o physical harm lol. Goofy
@@bbrradd1 lmao he can be licensed all day…you think that means he’s able to come out of pocket for damages to someone else or their vehicle? You’re the silly one…come back to reality looney toon
Most states legally require insurance in order to drive on public roads.
@@bbrradd1 Having your life at risk is a big overreaction, but they do pose a major risk on the road. Not only do sovcits often look at road rules as suggestions or inapplicable to them, but with them being uninsured means that if they do cause an accident causing serious damage, you are going to be out of luck because they aren't going to have the money to pay the mechanics or medical bills.
“I’m not part of the system”. But keeps quoting the Constitution about his ‘rights’. 🙄
I still don’t understand their logic. If they don’t consider themselves as US citizens why do they claim their rights under the constitution????🤷🏻♂️
@@benjaminnava2305Because they stopped learning anything in the 3rd grade
This is exactly the part that happens every time and is insane! Using parts of the constitution and laws to claim that other parts of the constitution and other laws make it so he can do whatever he wants! And they never see the irony of any of it! 🤦🏻♂️
@@benjaminnava2305 The problem is that they think that jurisdiction is contractual instead of territorial. Their logic is that the constitution is a collection of god given rights that they have that goes with them anywhere. However, they also believe that statutory laws (laws made by the government) are either only applicable to US citizens or "employees" depending on how deep down the rabbit hole the sovcit is and you are only a citizen if you agree to be one. So their logic ultimately concludes that if you don't 'agree to the contract of being a U.S citizen', then the only laws that apply are ones made by the supreme court when convenient (as the supreme court is the highest legal body in the U.S) and the constitution.
Thaty all do that. It's insane.
If you purchase gasoline for your conveyance, you have participated in commerce.
Supposed this guy has an oil well, a small refinery and produces his own petroleum products - even without that “commerce“ he still has to follow the laws of the state of Florida
oh, good one!
You are correct, sir.
if you record your interaction with the intention of uploading it in the hope of getting monetized, you are engaging in commerce.
My favorite is when they claim to not be in commerce then whine they're going to be late for work.
It makes me really angry that officer let him drive that car away without insurance.
THATS RIGHT. FOLLOWING THE LAW IS CRITICAL
It's sickening
That really gets under my skin !!!! If he has an at fault accident the officer that let him go would definitely have a lawsuit on his hands. If it’s proper procedure, then the entire department will have a lawsuit! A good attorney would win that lawsuit and maybe then that nonsense would stop
Me too. Anyone who has ever been hit by an uninsured driver understands this. Fortunately in the UK there is no negotiation, no FAFO. No insurance; no car. Car gets towed; driver gets directions to the nearest bus stop. No, it doesn't stop uninsured drivers, 1 million in the UK at last estimate, but it helps makes things a teeny bit safer for those of us who do things correctly and legally.
He didn't though. He advised the SovCit to not travel away. It is upsetting that knowing the vehicle is unregistered and uninsured but didn't tow.
I live in FL and work for a large insurance company. There is NO PROBLEM with getting insurance over the phone. Just more SovCit lies and excuses
Last two cars I purchased in Missouri were insured over the phone before I left the dealership.
Right ! its easy as can be !
We don't screw around with sovtards and their fake documents, do we? I still don't understand why a cop would still let an uninsured person drive off.
Yup! When I moved to Tennessee from North Carolina I bought insurance coverage over the phone in less than 10 minutes.
Been an insurance agent for 20 years in FL covering the entire state. We do not see the vehicle ahead of time. Hes full of it. Love your channel!
"Protect my rights" says the non-US citizen by his own volition
I have owned roughly a dozen cars over 40+ years. I insured all of them. I have never even knowingly met an auto insurance agent, let alone been in an insurance office. What a lazy lie.
Same. I never met my insurance agent. Did it all over the phone.
@mulgrum I bought my first auto policy at an Allstate desk inside a Sears store. That was 40+ years ago, and I have not seen an insurance agent since.
Here's how to register a vehicle in Maine. Apparently you can do it at some town halls as well as their DMV
www.maine.gov/sos/bmv/registration/passenger.html#pprivate
I live near a few Insurance Agent Offices. Been in at least one of the small ones that a co-worker always trusts over the big insurance companies.
I honestly plan on going through an agent when I buy my Firebird. But I plan on meeting with them before buying the car (if it's going out of state)
Even with an agent, getting car insurance is easy, I brought in the VIN and walked out with a binder 15 minutes later. Easy peasy
If I buy a car, I call the insurance company and have everything arranged prior to ever driving the car. I think that's how most people do it.
You can't drive it without insurance.
“I am not arguing with you…” then proceeds to argue a heap of nonsense.
Well, if you take "argue" to include "cite evidence in support of an idea, action, or theory", then, technically, he was correct.
Except he couldn’t be bothered to do the same. @@larrywest42
One more thing... WHY do cops allow people to drive off with no insurance??? Dangerous and silly
Some states do not require insurance.
It also gives the sov-cit false confidence that their rhetoric is legal.
@@jamesfetherston1190 New Hampshire and Virginia are the only two states that don't require car insurance.
I agree, what if he pulled away and hurt some with his car. No insurance & he doesn’t have enough intelligence to have any way of making restitution! Would the police officer had any liability because he let him drive knowing all of this?
@@jamesfetherston1190 That isn't the case in Florida. In Virginia you have to pay a $500 a year state fee but you're still responsible for all damages.
He should have started out, "for the record, I am an idiot and will spout other stupid things people tell me". At least he would have spoken the truth!.
😂😂😂
Isn't that what he said? In sovcit-ese? (Sovcit-ese = language used by sovcits. Has no basis in reality).
@@frankw7091 Guess I need the full translation package - I only know a few phrases 😆😆
@@okeesmokee6658 I might try and create a sovcit-ese dictionary/phrase book.
If you have full coverage MOST insurance companies want pictures to make sure you aren't trying to get a pre-wrecked car fixed.
The power of Blackus Lawus Dictionarius compels you !
Now I'm thinking of Harry Potter waving a wand and screaming "Blacklawus Dictionarius!". Thanks a lot.
The hilarious thing is that they don't even accept editions of that legal dictionary newer than the 1800s.
Probably because the newer editions actually do mention that state laws expanded the definition of driving to include operating any motorized conveyance, whether personal or commercial.
@@reptoidrenaissance To be specific, the edition of Blacks Law that sov cits LOVE to cite from is the 2nd edition, which was written in 1910…
We are currently on the 11th edition, written in 2021, literally 110 years more updated.
They always quote the U.S. Constitution, however, they never quote the 10th amendment. They quote various laws, and Supreme court decisions, however, never quote the laws of their state, nor PA v Mimms. Their cherry picking abilities are exemplary.
They also ignore any editions of Black's Law Dictionary made after states started issuing driving licenses. Funny, that.
They should never let these guys drive away. They're unregistered and uninsured, and should be towed immediately. They're a hazard.
In this case I’d feel sorry for mom. It’s her car. But depending how old and feeble she is, she should know better.
It'd be one thing if the car was just missing a license plate. But he purposefully put a fraudulent one on! That should be the crime.
The cop knows this. He is just more interested In eating donuts.
It takes a remarkable level of ignorance to spew total nonsense with that level of confidence. 😂

This guy said he's travelling "at the common law speed limit". THERE IS NO SUCH THING!
A buddy of mine once got a speeding ticket for travelling "at the common speed limit". Of the Autobahn. The unrestricted part. Unfortunately for him he was in PA at the time.
Yea, he absolutely made that up.
Every sovereign citizen looks and sounds like they have failed at life...its actually sad.....
There's a reason for that.
Life, and tooth hygiene! And quite possibly other forms of hygiene
As a Mainer, I find him insulting claiming how our law works.
Amen. Tired of this crap. Note he is a living man, well I hope so no one wants a dead man traveling in a vehicle.
Oh my, you guys also have to claim Lorne Armstrong lol
Lotta sovcits in Maine
I live in Maine as well, and this is just crazy sounding to me! Not all of us are crazy! 😅
Just because you claim to be not a part of the system doesn’t mean you are exempt from following the laws of Florida.
bet he's "part of the system" when the monthly Government welfare check comes...
@@wanderarnd I know I’m not suppose to lose myself to their level, however, this is only language they will learn.
As soon as he drives, he’s part of the system.
@@stuartb3609 more like if he chooses to live here or visit here then he has to obey our laws so it’s a no win for him.

Also, he seems to forget that the rights in the Constitution only apply to citizens.
Lol yes, yes.. he's on his way RIGHT NOW to the "insurance company" to get it insured 🤣🤣🤣
This guy is probably in Maine telling the troopers that he's from Florida and feels like an alien, which is why no insurance and blah blah blah, ad nauseum
That cop got played. This clown has no intention of getting insurance or registration. The next time he is pulled he will simply say "The last guy let me go".
Or "the last guy said it was OK."
Yup he'll chalk it up as a victory.
Absolutely correct.
Cops should not allow without insurance .. what of he hits someone ?
I just read from another comment that Florida state law let's you go with a fine the first time, a worse one the 2nd, and turns to a felony on the third. that makes me feel better lol
Amazes me that they let these people back on the streets to put citizens at risk. Terrible! This guy gets to drive off and think he is right in his own reality
The son was extremely fortunate the car was not towed! It was disappointing that 'Mom" seemingly agreed with and supported him.
Do ANY of these "SOVEREIGN CITIZENS" ever watch CZcams?!😂
There’s no grace period. Nor should there be a grace period. There’s absolutely no need to DRIVE an uninsured, unregistered vehicle to an insurance office when you can easily insure your car over the phone or online.
I just purchased a vehicle, I paid for the vehicle, went to DMV and registered the vehicle and got plates, called my insurance company, and then went back to pick up the vehicle.
I bought a car in June 2023. I paid the dealership, signed a loan, got the temporary registration, then went onto my insurance company app and changed the car on it.
"I'm not in commerce, but I'm going to cite the Uniform Commercial Code". Genius. And citing Corpus Juris Secundum, which is just summaries of cases from all over the country. You have to actually read the cases, but I don't think any of these sov cits ever do that.
It’s the “reading” part where it falls apart.
Can they even read all those big words?
At one point he also cited the United States Code, which is odd, because SovCits usually don’t believe that these statutes are valid law.
@@cherylkelley5586they can't read even the small words
They're reciting a magic incantation they got from a Harry Potter movie.
This guy is so self-assured in his ignorance.
I have owned and operated motor vehicles in Florida for 21 and a half years. I have NEVER been to an insurance broker. NEVER. received insurance via phone and the internet. I have NEVER had an insurance representative anywhere in the US photograph my vehicle in 34 years other than when filing claims for damage post accident
Car dealerships let you buy insurance on the spot. So it's either secondhand, stolen, or never registered.
Its incredible to see the lengths people will go through just to not buy insurance/registration.
It would be cheaper to just get insurance/registration and you wouldn't have to worry about getting tickets
Ya know if he didn't announce he was an "Actual living man", I wouldn't have known....
He did not proclaim he has a functioning brain.
He could be a zombie how could you tell without him declaring it?
I bet that officer was relieved that he wasn’t conversing with a dead man. 😅
He does sound like a vegetable.
Ya know without him stating he was a living man i thought he may have been a living sheep with how he repeats the same script as others
That he says he's a Native American is disgusting.
Meh after 400 years, it's fine for anyone born in America to be considered Native
@@Jabberwockybird , that's an ignorant position.
I get that the guy in the video isn't ethnically "native American" / "American Indian", but ethnicity is not what it's about.
But the word "native" isn't about ethnicity. It literally just means, you were born/ are from a certain place.
Seems like you're the ignorant one.
He just means he's not part of the United States. He was born in north America. So he identifies as a native American. Not nesisarily an indigenous/first people. But I didn't ask him to give me DNA. He may be a "native American" for all I know. 😅
“You just wasted a load of oxygen with that argument.” Too funny! You’re right, he did.
I am 82 yrs old and have lived in California (1965-1967), North Carolina (1968-1970) and the other years in Georgia and I have always been able to make a phone call to the insurace agency with all my info and get a insurance binder until I can physically get to the insurance agency( usually 30 days)......This dude is as full of it as a Christmas turkey!
"I don't have time to waste right now." Proceeds to waste time.
Bravo! Great explanation Trooper! He can walk anywhere he wants. FHP would have never stopped him if he wasn't on a public highway!
100% full of it. I have never bought my insurance in an office, though i have visited the office a few times for other reasons
The “I’m a living-man!” Is so annoying. Nobody has any questions about that.
.... you're breathin' ain't ya?....
I don't know, the wat he is acting he could be a zombie.
He is a lunatic.
Why did he NOT impound the car????
PLUS ... he let's them drive WITHOUT Insurance!!!!!!!
TOTAL PHUKN BS on the LEO!!!
What is wrong with cops here!!!!!!
Lock it up for the safety of others!
I always like it when the drive-VS-travel argument comes up and the officer states on the gear selector it had a D for drive not T for travel.
If he’s not a U.S. citizen, you should be deported! And even if you’re not a U.S. citizen, you still have to abide by the laws and statutes of the country you’re in.
Wow, a fine of only $116 for not having insurance? i remember 25 years ago it was something like $450 in Missouri. I wonder how many Floridians are driving around without insurance just thinking they'll pay the fine since it's considerably less than insurance.
Police officers in PA didn't ask you for insurance 25 years ago. Every state is different I guess.
Most of the illegals drive without insurance all the time.
In Florida driving without insurance gets worse with each offense, first offenses are usually lienent here due to the amount of out of state tourists. But 3 driving on suspended license or 3 no insurance offenses is a felony here.
@@auntiepha8343 wow, thanks for the info. that makes me feel much better. not sure what the progression is in MO, but hopefully something like FL.
@@aaronkcmo Yup, Florida is cray cray but honestly our laws and Police don't fool around here. It's easy to go to jail in Florida. An old saying here is "Go to Florida on vacation and leave Florida on probation."
In Australia, we get a 'cover note' from the insurer immediately after purchasing the vehicle and before actually driving it. Very easy, especially now we have mobile phones. The 'cover note' indicates you are covered by insurance. You then need to formalise that within a certain number of days, so that you have the insurance for the following year, or whatever time frame.
Demanding the name and badge number (even though it's already on paper) is the sovcits' childish way of feeling like they're in control for a moment. It's really quite pathetic.
I insure my vehicles on the spot before ever pulling out onto a road.
Not that hard is it 😂
Yeah, I've had insurance and plates transferred at the dealership, and left with no confusion or problems.
They make it that easy because it’s against the law to drive on a public road uninsured. Guys like this driver think he’s stumbled upon a cheat code that the rest of us are too stupid to know or understand. Life is usually pretty hard for people like this, esp in jail, where he is undoubtedly headed one day.
It's what responsible adults to. This guy is a Sovtard.
I’ve been “driving “ for 60 years. Never once have I had to go anywhere to buy insurance. I have gotten it on the phone or on line!!!!
He Should Be ASHAMED OF HIMSELF ! To Put That Poor Woman In That Position !
A Floridian here who just called and booked my auto insurance over the phone. They verify me and the VIN to make sure it’s good.
Exactly. I bought a car a year ago. I just called my insurer (a major company), gave them the VIN, badda boom badda bing.
I've said it before and I'll say it again...
The difference between "driving" and "traveling" is quite simple...
No matter if you are here in the states or across the pond -
If you are BEHIND the steering wheel, you ARE DRIVING.
If you are in the passenger seat (or backseats), you ARE TRAVELING.
"I'm not arguing with you" argues with them non stop
“Florida is crazy. I feel like an alien.” Hahahahahahahahahahaha. He IS an alien…like from Jupiter.
He's still crying and the cop already handed him the tickets. What a fool.
WTF, he trying to have an evidentiary hearing at the side of the road?
“For the record” what record?
An LP of SovCits BS?😊
Also, "Please note that I have informed you...." LMAO
He's loves the sound of his own voice.
he's from maine ...
maybe his name is tom ...
Like most SovTwits. They all suffer from this delusion that they're legal geniuses
I have lived in - and owned cars registered in - the following states, California, Colorado, Illinois, Oregon, New Jersey, Delaware, Florida, Georgia. In ALL of those states, I have been able to obtain insurance on my car, online, or over the phone. Never - Not once in four decades, with over a dozen new and used cars - Have I ever had to take the car to be seen by anyone, except when it was damaged in a parking lot, and I had to file a claim.
Again these people claiming they can drive, their word is "travel", that they have a " constitutional right". The idiocy and condescending tone is remarkable while at the same time saying he's not trying to "insult his intelligence".. Don't they realize they literally contradict themselves within a single sentence, every single sentence!!!!?????
If he gets in an accident that cop is just as responsible as is the town for letting him go without insurance
Just another lazy cop.
"Operating in a non-commercial capacity", he says...while simultaneously citing statutes from the UCC..
The Uniform COMMERCIAL Code..
...the cognitive dissonance is just unbelievable
Exactly. I'm waiting for a cop to reply with "Since you're not operating in commerce, the UCC doesn't apply to you, but this state law does., and by its definition, you are driving."
Why do they believe the UCC applies? It's about regulating and recognizing interstate commerce and financial dealings. It has nothing to do with the daily life of regular people.
It's not cognitive dissonance.
It's being too stupid to do anything more than rote memorisation. They've memorised their sovcit "guru"'s script, and they have no idea that what they're saying is pure bollocks.
Lived in Florida my entire life, never once has an insurance company required to see my vehicle beforehand. This guy is the very definition of "saying a whole lot of nothing".
Oh god.... does he think he speaks Latin or something?? The word-salad is vicious today. lol
Yes, he is full of it. All you have to do to get insurance is to call and provide the vehicle's make, model and year, and the VIN number. They do not need to see the vehicle. I may have also taken pictures of the car and submitted them; it's been a long time and I do not remember.
Thanks Deb 👍
You can get insurance online. You don’t have to go to an insurance company to get insurance.
Same here. I've ensured many vehicles over the years and have always done it with a simple call, or on the web/app. In my State you can also log on a State website and generate a temporary tag (30 days I think) using the same information. It gets reviewed, and then emailed to you as a PDF that you can print out and put on the vehicle until you can go in and properly pay taxes, title, and register it.
in my current state, the minimum coverage is called 30/60/25 =
$30,000 in liability coverage for each injured person, up to a total of $60,000 per accident, and $25,000 for property damage per accident. If you don't have equity In your home or $ in the bank, the minimum is all you need as the victim/s in the accident can you sue you personally for all their medical bills, loss of wages and legal fees. With so many uninsured motorists out there its wise to get 'full coverage' which protects you against soveREIGN SHITizens who don't legally own anything of value
He may not be able to buy insurance for it because he has no license or his driving record is so bad he can't afford insurance.
It always puzzles me when these sovereign citizens try to hold roadside court which we all know isn't a real thing. The word salad doesn't work and he should save his nonsensical arguments for court. Also It doesn't matter what Maine does because your in Florida and therefore you must abide by Florida laws!
I suspect it's because they know a judge won't buy this stuff for a second. Cops aren't as familiar with the law as lawyers or judges, so there's a faint chance this might bamboozle them.
I think it's because they're sad sad people who are desperate for attention. They want a captive audience to listen to their rants, which they believe make them sound smart and privy to esoteric knowledge. They're pathetic, but somehow I can't muster a scintilla of sympathy for them.
It's all about the shampoo bottle instructions with these SovCits. M.B...........rinse........wash..............repeat! lol Jim C.
Hubris perhaps?
Yes...here in the USA....at least in Pennsylvania...you can hop online and IMMEDIATELY get your vehicle insured by whichever insurance company you choose! 💯
Yes, you can get insurance online in the States. I pay $56/mo for two cars/drivers, in one of the most populated metropolitans in the country (Phoenix Metro).
Why not call the insurance company and get insured? No need to drive there. Then, go to DMV, in a different car, and pick up the plates. How freakin hard is that?
Hard for a serial liar and creep like this guy.
It’s because he’s lying. It takes just minutes to get a policy online
it makes me wonder how they picked up that car in the first place. Edit: I just looked at the web page for the insurance agent the sovcit spoke of, and it looks like they do nothing more than hook people up with insurance companies, but I didn't see any place on their page where insurance could be bought straight out. That might be the only true statement this guy said, though being a sovcit he probably would not have bothered to get insurance and registration if it was his own car.
"I'm not that person anymore, I'm out of the system..." wow, he's so special!
I've never seen an insurance agent. I've never gone to an insurance office. I've owned cars since 1966 and they've always been insured. And they don't need pictures or any of that.
Thats the way to do it Officer 👍✔️👍✔️👍
9 out of 10 times if you go to court and show the judge you have insurance and registration, they will dismiss the tickets.
However, I doubt that would be the case for this guy as he wouldn't be able to keep his mouth shut long enough.
Some will dismiss IF the insurance and registration were dated current at the time of the ticket and you just didn't have proof on you at the time. In Cali, it can be considered a "fix it ticket" and if you show proof prior to your court date and get it signed off by the issuing department, it's only a $25 admin fee paid at the courthouse. But they will probably just reduce the fine if you got it afterwards.
Men invented insurance and licenses so that's a problem for a god freak
You don't even need to go to court in Florida. Take the citations to the clerk of court, show them the documents, they'll record them as satisfied and charge you 10 dollars per ticket. Goes for mechanical defects too.
here in Pennsylvania, you wont even have to go to court if you can provide the insurance and registration information within a certain time period at thhe police station. i want to say it's ten days but i can't remember offhand.
Yeah the odds are stacked against this kid that he would be leaving that courtroom with an armed escort and a contempt of court charge.
As someone in the U.S. who has insured over 50 cars, motorcycles, and trucks in the last 30 years I have had to show a vehicle to an insurance agent exactly 1 time. It was because the vehicle in question was not in their insurance tables for passenger car use.
I added a Freightliner ex-ambulance with a GVW of 23,000 lbs (over 10,000 kilos) to my policy as a regular passenger vehicle (which is legal in my state). They had questions as to why I was trying to register what would normally be a commercial truck on a regular policy and wanted to see that it was no longer being used in medical service. They came to my house to look at it, told me to remove the AMBULANCE decals from the box and had me e-mail exterior photos to them when the stickers were gone.
Where you converting it into an RV?
just curious, what were you using the ambulance for?
Was going to make an RV but my wife does not like it. She generally refers to it as the “Damnbulance” and writes me wanting it off an an unexplainable man foible
@@andyjohnson6881Honestly, an ambulance could make a good mini-camper or something. Fun idea.
So wait, he's not going to impound an improperly paperworked car, but he'll let him drive because the NEXT trooper will take care of the problem? Can't tell if lazy or just dumb laws...
Geezus I love your commentary. I love your videos. Ty, for the content, Sir.
I love how they complain when someone speaks "legalese" yet they try to sound smart by using (improperly) legal terms. He is so insufferably "polite" condescending.
Equivocation
That boy got several french fries missing in his happy meal for sure
He's actually a "living man" who would have thought 🙈
Well, hard to "travel" freely when you are DEAD! 😂
If I knew that I sound like a semi-sentient potato, I’d probably state that as well, to avoid misunderstandings.
Actually he's an NPC.😂
@@AngryBoozerhe still sounds like a semi-sentient potato. Although that is an insult to potatoes, the words semi and sentient and semi-sentient beings.
Here in the UK No insurance NO CAR it gets lifted and locked up eventually Scrapped in the crusher and theres no messing around, You lot over the pond are not positive enough and slow at resolving the issue at the road side. NO INSURANCE NO CAR. You cannot drive further without insurance.
My wife is an insurance agent and is licensed to write policies in all 50 United States. She works from home and has never ever had a customer come to the house to take pictures of their vehicle. It's all done online.
Maybe Sovcits think "duress" means "my own incompetence."
Sovcit: I'm a living man.
Officer: Thank God.....we thought you were a zombie. Its a good thing you told us that.
This traffic stop went from 0 to 100 in record time with him whipping out the Sov-Cit handbook. The cop knew exactly what he was walking into in the first breath this guy takes.
Floridian here. I have never been in an insurance company office in my life. I have always done it by phone. No problem. He is full of it.
Cop should reply "A Frenchman said the same thing last week. Meant shit for him too."
Excellent example of the Dunning-Kruger effect. He needs to read the 10th amendment. To drive is to employ and employ is to make use of, in other words, driving the automobile/vehicle/car/etc.
Wait til they get a job and find out they're engaged by their boss. 💍
I have never set foot in my insurance agent's office. I've had that agent for 7 years.
This guy should have listen to his father when he said "Son if someone thinks you are an idiot don't open your mouth and prove it!"
I've literally never heard of an insurance agent demanding to see the car before they insure it. The insurance agent knows roughly what the car is worth when you tell them make, model and year.
In Massachusetts, in order to get full coverage in certain cases (older cars) , they may make you do an inspection to check for damage. But I'm pretty sure this is all done during the underwriting period so you have insurance at least on the way to the inspection station.
This appears to be a late 1990s to early 2000s Ford. I could see insurance wanting to give it a quick check especially if he’s trying to insure something with an other than clear title.
we used to do business with an agent who made photographs of any new vehicle we added -fraud for damages was a problem and I had no issue with it-this sov cit has no plan to get insurance
@@Missangie827 I’ll bet you’re right. He lied about when the vehicle was bought. Hard to believe that he just happened to be on his way there when he was pulled over.
In South Australia (and I assume the rest of Australia) sometimes they want to check the vehicle before insuring it but in those cases they let you insure it over the phone with the condition of taking it to an office for a check within 5 working days. Then they might adjust the amount insured up or down or blankly refuse the vehicle though that last part would be rare.
The LEO should only be saying one sentence: "Discuss your 'point' with the judge in court."
Let me be clear on this; he is stating that he is on the way to get registration and insurance but he is not driving, he doesn't need a proper licence plate and he accepts the necessity for police in Florida..... and he went all the way from rural Maine to bad-ass Florida to insure a vehicle????
Wow, there IS a whole new level of stoooopid that we didn't know about....
Probably came down from Maine to pick up a nice clean car left over from the last hurricane.
"I am a living man" Perfect comeback would be "Would you like me to fix that for you?"
20 minutes of his life that poor officer is *NEVER* gonna get back!
*Pseudo-psycho-babble??* Yeah, probably.
His twaddle and attitude has filled my brain with rage bees that only alcohol will soothe 🐝🐝🐝🍷🍷🍷
😅😂❤
Have one for me.
So I'm not the only one then?
that will (just) fill your LIVER w/ 'rage bees' ...
I'm a Floridian. You can get insurance ONLINE here from several providers, none of which physically need to see the vehicle. However, there might be an issue requiring visible confirmation because this was both a private-party sale and the vehicle was not previously registered. It will depend on the insurance provider. You may be able to get the insurance, but you might not be covered until the car is registered - obviously because you shouldn't be driving an unregistered car.
On the flip side, the DMV may require visual verification of the car and VIN before issuing a new registration and tag. In those cases, the local police or sheriff's deputy can come to your house, look at the vehicle and sign the verification form.
The best place to ask is (obviously) the DMV before setting out on the road in an unregistered and uninsured vehicle.
Exactly!!! When I changed my registration from California to Alabama, the clerk at the DMV had to visually confirm the vin, and that was the only time I've ever had any sort of inspection..... The guys was full of it on so many levels.... And totally agree with you.....
During my 25 years as a highway patrol officer in New York, as a matter of procedure and law, we impounded vehicles for being unregistered, uninsured or suspended license (if there were no licensed drivers present). The law, in New York is quite clear in that it specifies that the above violations make it illegal to operate on roadways in NY.
If you are driving an unregistered vehicle in Rhode island, they immediately arrest you and your car is towed to impound. You can't get the car back unless you register it and you must go to court.
I would've towed the vehicle to impound to ensure this driver has all proper legal documents to pickup vehicle.
You can gain insurance by phone. You can have a friend drive you to get this vehicle legal.
If you wat to unplug or no contract with the state, then don't drive on public roads.
Very few insurance Co. in Florida require visual inspection. I lived in Florida 63 yrs, and was a State police officer.
It’s Florida. Emphasis on the DUH
@rxxrxx1994 he asked if anyone can answer his question to post below. Emphasis on comprehension.
“I’m not going to argue semantics with you..” as he continues to argue semantics 🤦🏻♀️
The Native American who said that he is not a citizen should have called the General to protect his car!
