Honestly, the police should just arrest him at this point for misusing 911. It would actually improve his life, frankly.
I was expecting the trooper to say "well, we have a place you can stay if you need a bed"
It’s called ‘stunting’. Some jurisdictions take it pretty seriously.
@PrimericanIdol Look, we all know you are not particularly intelligent, but filing false reports, tying up resources, is a serious crime. Not as serious as murder, but it keeps police occupied so they can't investigate the "real crime" you are so concerned about.
@@PrimericanIdolyou don't think people should be arrested for intentionally misusing 911?
@@PrimericanIdolaren't you completely invalidated by the fact this small town cop DIDN'T take him to jail?
"I don't know what else to do." Well, Thomas, here's what you do - get a driver license, get your van registered and insured, and pay the towing and storage fees. That's what you do. Your complaint is meaningless.
Well, that seems easy!
Like the rest of us have to!
@Bell2323 Every time he said that I said the same thing! Seriously, it's not that complicated 🙄
"STOP BREAKING THE LAW ASSHOLE!" - Jim Carrey
Officer tells him what to do to get his van and all he does is keep repeating "I don't know what to do."
He says he doesn't want to lose his van, but he won't do what is required to get his van back. He Is his own worst enemy.
I doubt Thomas has two nickles to put towards registration and plates.
Doubting Thomas! LOL
I love the fact that these guys record themselves so the rest of us can mock' how stupid they are.
Great observation. They always videotape!!!!!
Constituents? 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I think of it as a Public service to mock them.....LOL
I love the fact that he called the cops on himself.
They all do it by asking for a supervisor.
That gives you an idea about his selfconfidence and delusion
And that he pretended cops would let him go with the vehicle. He is so delusional.
SovTards are not known for being intelligent 😂
But their the government!!
What is crazy is that sovereign citizens don't want to be part of society, but they want the police help 🤦♀️make it make sense please.....
Simple; they want all of the benefits of being part of society, but don't want any of the responsibilities.
If an insured driver hit them as they were traveling along, you can bet they would insist on having a police report and the other car's insurance info.
It's about picking the freedom to be a total douche and choosing to use the police resources as a stupid hobby to serve their entitlement.
To me, it looks like a mental problem. I think he should get a psychologist. Who knows what has gone wrong in his life. He probably has problems getting a job and making friends.
right if some thug was robbing him or had his wife as hostage and HE couldn't do anything tom resolve would he call the cops for help, probably after paying no taxes.
He should have been arrested for defiant trespass and attempted theft of a motor vehicle. He keeps getting a slap on the wrist for his criminal behavior. This just emboldens him further. He is one short step away from being a violent felon. Eventually his massive line of bullsh*t will fail and he will resort to a violent crime to get "his" property.
He should be charged with misuse of 911.
This ignoramus is his own worst enemy. What a horrific future lies in store for him.
Still a relatively young man, could still make a life. So dumb

It seems like Humphrey's already living in that future ... and he seems comfortable there: nothing else strokes his victimhood/persecution complex.

The due process he whines about started the day it was impounded and yet he did nothing that he was legally permitted to do about getting it released. "Due process" means you had a fair shake, if you wanted one.
Why not just register/insure the damn van and be on your way? I wonder if this clown even realizes what would happen if he was to hit an innocent motorist with him having no insurance!!?? Oh, that's right he doesn't contract with the government. 😂

This isn't related, but I find it to be a funny story. In the late 80s my friend was living in his van. He had a job he could do on the road at his own hours and he wanted to see the country. When he set out his plan was to do it for six months, he did it for almost five years he loved it so much. This is the late 80s, before cell phones, before the internet. He used his mother's address in Arizona as his address. She would pay his credit card bill and once a week put everything else that wasn't junk mail into an envelope and mail it to him. He would tell her where he would be in a week, she would mail it general deliver to that town and he would pick it up at the post office. He bought the van and left from California, but when it came time to renew, he registered it in Arizona. He had the Arizona plate in the van but hadn't switched them yet.
He parked where he shouldn't have and got towed. He called the police, they told him where it was towed and what he needed to do, he called the tow place and they told him the price and that they close at five. He told them he was coming and it would be close to five because he had to get the money from an ATM (they wouldn't accept check or credit, remember late 80s). They told him to be there by five. He called a cab, they took him to an atm then way out of town to the tow yard. He got there at 4:45, he paid the cab and walked up to the office to find them closed. So now he is way out of town, at a closed tow yard, the cab has left and this is before cell phones.
He racked his brain for what to do and then just said to hell with it. He climbed the fence, grabbed tools out of his van, cut the chain link fence and drove out of there. He drove a couple miles, pulled over and changed the plates from the about to expire California plates to the new Arizona plates and left town. The next day he bee lined out of the state. He was nervous for a week or two but nothing ever came from it.
@@PrimericanIdol It was such a different time. With no internet no one could work remote so "van life" just wasn't a thing. He sharpened scissors and would go to beauty salons, give his sales pitch. Sharpen the first pair free and then charge for the rest. Oddly enough he made really good money doing this. He would go to a gym and tell them he was new in town and wanted to see it. They would give him a tour and a free pass for the day. he would work out and shower. He either slept in his van or very often on a salon girl's couch or...
Ah, the 80s.
Same except my priorities were reversed... It was my home so I made damn sure at the very least it was road legal & never in a position where I could lose it.
@@tedthurgateas long as you keep your vehicle legal, license up to date, buy a cheap gym membership, get a PO Box, eat reasonably; van living is an easy way back into society with a minimum wage job. Just park in a different spot every night or at Walmart.
Honestly, you can save a ton of money
It’s so frustrating that most of us pay taxes, fees, and so on (not happily, but we do) so that we have services like the police, fire, and other city, state, and federal resources. Then these clowns use our services and keep them tied up from doing the things we actually need them to do.
Look Thomas I know you stuck on being a sovereign citizen but you want to use police fire and emergency to get your way we all have to pay taxes we all have to pay vehicle registration in order to keep a car and a license trust me I hated the process I failed the test three times I was thinking about driving with no license but then what would that get me a vehicle towed which is your case right now and taking longer to get a drivers license hell I don’t even want to think about what I gotta have to do when I buy a car but I gotta do it if I wanna keep it And not have the towing company put a lien on it and sell it which is basically what an auction is stop istening to Trench good body from freedom from government because he’s going to get you into a whole Lotta shit Big props for the church for donating the vehicle to you but it’s your responsibility if you wanna keep it and by the way you believe and think I don’t think you do

Yes, all the rights, but none of the responsibilities.
Keep believing that BS. Try getting legal advice from licensed lawyers not some random idiot on the net. Anybody can post anything they want whenever they want. The net contents are unregulated.
The irony of this is that only in a free, democratic, rule of law country can these people get away with claiming such absurd violations against their rights. Not lots of sovereign citizens in actually oppressive countries.
The guy from Vic's Towing was nice enough to let him come and get the rest of his items, and now this. What a JACKALOPE. Now he gets nothing because the tow yard owns his stuff.
And now the Jackass expects him to agree to not selling it "for a couple of days" after trying to fxck him over by calling the cops.
The guy should have been arrested for multiple felonies instead of let go, but i guess the cops know they live in Clownifornia where criminals are released long before the victim is done filing the paperwork.
I love jackalope meat. Tastes just like bigfoot steaks!
I totally agree. They went out of their way to let him get his stuff back, and he does this. I was afraid when I heard about him wanting his stuff back that it was a cover to try something stupid. If it wasn't criminals first California, the employees of the lot would of probably assisted his exit.
I learned a long time ago, no good deed goes unpunished.
@@covinaca5312So do i, however it seems like every year it gets harder to obtain a license to hunt mythical creatures, dang it.
I was at a dealership once getting a part for my vehicle. In the parking lot, you could enter. But driving out, inground spikes were present so nobody could just drive off the lot stealing a vehicle. That's what that impound yard needs.
Or have what my town has and that is, 4 Dobermans and the owner and 8 employee's all carry sidearms.

It's absolutely stunning someone would lose everything they have over not registering a vehicle and maintaining themself in good standing at minimal effort.
One warning; one order; enforce; arrest. No conversations; no debates.
What a jerk. The manager of the tow yard was nice enough to allow him to get his stuff from his van - which they were under no obligation to do - and he pays them back with this childish stunt.

I had my truck impounded once for driving on suspended. I paid my dues. Only a crazy person would act like this at a tow yard.
Ain’t none of them wrapped too tight

@@PrimericanIdol Yup. Cops run license plates all the time. Sometimes when they have nothing to do, sometimes when that is their assignment. In our town they sat on a side road to the main road and ran every car's plate that took the sideroad---because that's where people who were suspended would go, to try to sneak around the main drag.
@@Fred2-123 Many cars now have the automatic license plate readers. The officer get a notification on the computer when a plate comes up. There are also many license plate readers now on the sides of the roads, especially at state lines, toll booths etc. This technology is only going to become more commonplace.
“Yup Yup” translates to not even listening.
The hypocrisy this guy spews. The tow yard should press charges for false theft claims.
It also amazes me, that the idea of, had he just had registration and a license, he would not be in this predicament, escapes him for his need to somehow be a victim. But he doesn't see he is a "victim" of his own doing. I wonder if he ever hears the Benny Hill theme music in his head while he's justifying all this with himself.
He clearly doesn't understand that he does not own the car and the company that does own it can sell/dispose of it at any time.
This guy clearly is of the mindset that he just wants to do whatever he wants to do and doesn't understand why he can't.
Usually they hold it for a set number of days 7/14/21 to allow the owner to comply with the conditions of return.
After that they are allowed to sell the vehicle to pay the outstanding storage fees.
Kinda like a toddler, who can't understand why he can't just jump out of a window and fly like a birdie.
@@silverknight4886 Most will work with you and give you extra time if you're genuine and pay the storage fee, but he doesn't deserve it.
They understand that, but are convinced that they can con everyone.
They need to Start charging people for sending officers for this kinda shit. These fraudulent calls shouldn't be paid by the tax payer.
As if they would pay such a fine...
He can't even pay the impound fees, how could he pay the police fee?
And let’s not forget that he has had at least approximately a month to “get his stuff” together since the vehicle was towed. The towing company has to “hold” vehicles for a certain period of time before they can “sell” them for unpaid charges. He hasn’t done anything in the meantime to attempt to “rescue” his vehicle/home. Not only does he have to register & license the van, he has to come up with the “storage fees” to cover the length of time the van has been at the tow yard.
He sent them his "cease and desist" nonsense on August 10.
The 911 operator made me laugh. “…..OK.” 😂
Back in his former home? He’s not driving….he’s squatting.
The owner tried to be nice to Thomas but is being punished for his kindness. He DOES NOT own the van. Vick’s towing owns the van.
I guess no good deed goes unpunished.
What I've heard is that he's lost his van and is now homeless. I guess that'll keep him from driving.
This is obviously a mental health issue. He's still responsible for his actions, but we could do a better job of taking care of people like this. Any one of us could end up like this.
Yes but now he is free to travel.
If that is true (homeless) he can now truly travel about the US free and unencumbered.
Such a misuse of 911!!! This man should be made to take Constitutional and State law classes.
Serious mistake by PD allowing this to continue to happen.
As soon as that CHP trooper showed up he should’ve just placed him under arrest and yanked him out of that car!
No reason when he isn't getting violent or trying to harm anyone. He's just being annoying and not registering his car. They don't like to resort to force needlessly. It creates danger for the officers if nothing else. I mean what has the guy actually done besides being a pain in the ass? No need to flex your authority just because you can. That's usually the sign of a good cop. There are people out there actually robbing and killing people. DUIs are worse than what this guy is doing.
Police are slow to use physical force because it is dangerous and sadly that action will subject them to all sorts of potential legal risks.

I have to say that I absolutely LOVE how he is being held accountable for his ignorant behavior. The sad thing is that he's so desperate because he has done all of this to himself! He can fix this so easily, but he refuses to. Instead, he attempts to make it look like he's the poor victim. When in reality, everyone who comes in contact with him is a victim of his manipulation tactics.
It’s not ignorant behavior, it’s stupid behavior. Ignorance means he didn’t know, and the cops will educate him on the process of getting his car back. Stupid behavior means he knew the legal process of getting his car back, but chose not to do it the legal way. That’s my opinion.

The 911 Operator's tone when she says, '...Okay' at about 1:56 says it all...
I don’t know what else to do? GET YOUR LICENSE AND REGISTRATION!
So, this towing company gave him a break to get his belongings when they didn't have to and this is how he repays them.... Yep. Can't take his word that night's dark and day's light.
Like you once said, Van....that poor van. The "Freedom Wagon". What did it ever do to deserve having this clown as its owner, and have to spend much of its life in the tow yard..
this all didn't just happen that day! they towed his van, it's been sitting in their tow yard for 30 days, he's done nothing to register & insure it let alone getting a valid license, and the tow company already went through the mechanics lien on the van... and now, on the last day, he's whining for more time?? they should sell it the next day! smh
A lot of these places do sell it the next day, or at least take it to the next available auction which, I don't know about there, but around me, there are some almost every day so as soon as the tow yard can get rid of it to get room, and actually get money for the vehicle, they will. You knwo you have 30 days if it's towed, no secret there, he's his own worst enemy.
This SovCit is truly sad. Poor man. His mind definitely has a condition that should be documented by the courts.
"Hey guys, welcome to the Freedom Tarp. I live here."
That lady clearly has dealt with his insane kind before and has proper responses chambered to fire back at his nonsense.
The van is no longer his. He disavows the Government rules and regulations yet constantly whines and cries to agents of that very government. 🤣 Look up "Loser" and there's his picture.
I think there's a rule in the Sov Cit manual requiring a scraggly beard and a beat up POS vehicle.
The most insane part of this is that if they just gave him the van back right now, he still wouldn't register it.
I love these guys and I hope they keep filming their interactions with police and posting it online. I will literally never get sick of seeing their windows get broken and them dragged out of their cars.
Why in the world would law enforcement let him keep talking??? He is and has been trespassing after warning and attempting to steal someone else's property! He needs to go to jail!!!
Imagine having the nerve/stupidity to ask the tow company not to sell your vehicle so you can have time to file a complaint against them!!
He Abandoned his “Home”. 🤔🤪🤣🤣
1. Be homeless and sleep on the street.
2. Register your car.
You’d think the choice would be easy.
If I was the despatch I'd have replied ' I'm very sorry sir but as you're a Sovereign citizen we don't have any jurisdiction over you so you'll have to call the Sovereign City Police Department. Thank you for your call and have a nice day'..click...
They didn't go out to help him. They went out to help the tow yard.
😂 👍👍👍
The PD's need to put in place very straight forward policies to deal with these idiots as they are spending too much time and resource dealing with them.
"you cannot talk about the law when you don't follow the law". Perfect.
He may have gotten a little bit of sympathy if he would have just come out and said"I'm stupid and I don't know what else to do"
Except he's been told what he needs to do multiple times, he just doesn't want to do it.
Damn i love seeing justice served. He's got nobody to blame but himself. Should've arrested him as soon as he refused to leave, though.
So he recognises there is a GOVERNMENT. He should look in a mirror to see a fool. He should be trespassed.
I love it when people reply to reasonable statements with "I understand..." then spew a bunch of nonsense that proves they clearly didn't understand whatsoever.
Classic passive agressive.
Love the lady she was definitely not havin it 😂 As an adult sometimes you gotta do stuff you don't want to do Thomas. Time to grow up and leave the land of make believe. Personal conveyance still cracks me up, but it still requires a registration and driver's license. Look on the bright side Thomas you still got that right to travel....right out of that tow yard 😉
The lady has been more than fair. She is under no obligation to give him back his possessions as the van no longer belongs to him
Sometimes I think sov-cits need to be in some kind of insane asylum. 😂
They all "Need A Check Up From The Neck Up!"!!!
That’s a great idea but you could never let them out because their “No jurisdiction, traveling not driving, not for commercial hire, fine you for my time, etc” would cross pollinate and their behavior would just get worse.
Sometimes? ... All Sov Cits ARE insane.
"i have proof i own this vehicle"
2 seconds later
"I don't register my vehicle because government bad"
"Sheriff get over here this vehicle is mine they stole it!"
