- I take my 2020 and 2019 F350 trucks on a tow loop towing 10-12,000lbs to see how each truck does.
2020 is levelled on 37s and the 2019 is stock on 35s.
Results are very interesting!!

11k subs - Yes!! Congrats man. Keep it goin friend
One of favorite things about your videos is the scenery. Additional info regarding the vehicles are still good.
This is great info. I've been toying with getting a 2019 or 2020 F350. This confirms what I suspected - the 2020 is slightly better on fuel. On stock tires, it should be even better!
Great presentation on the towing capacity on your 350s Very impressive mileage on the 2020 especially with the 37 tires !
Wow! pretty amazing results! 😃👍
Great video & nice scenery up there in Canada! Thank you
Can you please do a mpg test with and without the air dam to see how much of a difference it makes? I live this truck but I hate that air dam! If I got one, I'd take it right off but if it makes a 2 mpg difference or something then it would be worth keeping it on. Love the test man!
another great video! thnx man
As an additional note of interest, my best ever milage on my Suburban with 454 engine (4x4) 10 inch lift, 37 in Toyo, was 7 mpg!
Thats crazy Man I drive a old Caterpillar Engine gets 6 miles to gallon. Big Semi.
Hey man, great videos as always! I am curious about your air compressor for the air bags. I love how you mounted it in the cab under the seat. Would you be able to show or explain how you ran the wires and lines from this location? I live in upstate NY and go through a lot of compressors from the weather/salt. Love the idea of it in the cab. Just not sure on how to run the lines from the compressor to the bags. Thanks!!
Hey man I’ll give a quick description in a video soon
That's good ! Ps the truck in front like that looks awesome !!😊👌👍👍👍✔🌎⛵🐬✨🌠
Always appreciate all of your videos. Keep them coming. Have2017 f350 and tow 8500 travel trailer. Do you recommend air bags.
Certainly not needed but once you have them you will always want them!
Here's the thing. I'm not an owner of these incredible monsters, but what I know is that they keep on improving their trucks. Every model has a few gremlins (look at how much is on top) *At least it's all on top*. It reminds me if intestines with all the hoses/wires/tubes. Ford make the best trucks. Not by a lot, but they just have that 'something' about them. Incredible.
Well this made me feel good about my 7.3 Tremor. 9.6mpg on South Carolina hills doing 65mph with about 7,000 pounds between the trailer, tack and horses.
What do you think a 6.2 would do?
@@jakethesnake4971 probably closer to 8.5, it dont think there would be much difference in MPG between 7.3 and 6.2
Mines also the Tremor package so 3.55 gears would help a lot once up to highway speed and the 10 speed wouod make thise gears useful for heavier loads.
Thanks for the videos. I made the jump from EcoBoost to diesel. Love this 2020 king ranch. The 10 speed could only be improved by having a stick like my semi. Lol!!
Bigjohndodge00 Haha I know that would be fun
Sticks suck with turbos, Turbo’s benefit from the uninterrupted load an auto provides.
Good review 👍
Nice i didn’t know you live in canada i am from Québec and i like your channel
Charles Beauregard Awesome thanks for watching
Makes me want to get rid of my 2019 ecoboost for a 2020 6.7 as i do lots of highway driving. And want the awesome milage
Get rid of the EcoBoost. I traded in a 2015 3.5 and a 2017 2.7 for a 2020 6.7 diesel. The diesel already has better mpg than my old 3.5 EcoBoost. Still got several hundred miles to go on the diesel to get steady mpg.
You'll never pay off the cost of the 6.7... buy a 5.0 f150 and you'll enjoy it and the added cost is was less then ecojoke or 6.7
Devyn Hogan Yeah, if you aren’t towing you don’t need a diesel. Diesels need to be worked, if you bought a diesel as a light duty commuter get prepared for EGR low flow.
You thinking of putting an s&b cold air in that beast also did you see they make extended fuel tanks that you can put a pump in to leave more bed space I see you have a few different vehicles I think I’m putting those on mine when it comes in a few weeks plus other keep killin it man!
MrJaponte28 Hey I’m sure I will eventually but I was happy to see the box relocated on the 2020.
I checked with S&B about the cold air intake for the 2020 and they said they should have something out around April for the 2020's.
Wow impressive. I have used big tires on all the trucks I have owned and it does hurt your MPG.
How do the 2020+ super duties drive compared to the newer duramax unloaded? Is the extra power in the Ford noticeable not towing?
Nice!!
Feb 17, 2020, F450 Platinum, stock tires, towing 10,000 lb trailer from Riverside Ca, to Prescott, AZ and return trip, through mountains 30 percent of round trip miles, averaged 12 mpg. Total miles traveled was about 600. My 2017 F350 Lariat pulling same trailer actually averaged 17 mpg on 35 in Toyos.
Yeah bs.. No truck pulling 10k is getting 17
@@Onenasty306 I'll have to agree... hummmmmm
No way lol. No trailer maybe
@@jklewisjkldev You can believe what you want, deny what you want, instead of asking how is that possible. So I will not tell you how. People like you lose.
Razor Steele It’s possible by either messing with the odometer or running a tune that delivers very little fuel to the engine.
I hope I didn’t miss it somewhere in your videos, but which rear end gearing do you have on each truck? I just ordered my 2020 and am still having second thoughts on which gearing I’m wanting. Thanks.
Exterior Outfitters 3.55
Again, another awesome video. I owned a 2017 F-150 2.7 eco super-crew and I am a super fan of the power in those engines. However I am so in love with the look of the F-250, it’s so beefy looking. However I feel like the 150 3.5 L eco would be more then I ever would need for towing a camper/ATVs/pontoon. Torn! Thoughts??
Streetmans Shepherds You are right just don’t drive a 2020 with the 6.7 cause you won’t be able to go back! Haha
workplaytv trust me, I drool over it every time I see one on the road and in your videos. I always tell myself, there’s no such thing as too much truck right? 🤷🏼♀️😂😅 I’m sure when I go to buy the Super Duty will pull the right heart strings lol! Hope all is well mate, keep the videos coming! And GZ on 11k subs!! 🔥
Streetmans Shepherds Hahaha yeah man for sure! Thanks buddy
I own a 2017 Lariat Crew 3.5 eco max trailer tow package 3.55 rear end loaded truck and I get between 25 and 30 L/100km when I tow 7000lbs. If I use premium fuel I get better mileage but it’s still terrible so I have a 2020 6.7 F350 Lariat crew being built on route in a couple weeks. Bring on the Diesel!
And I’m currently towing 3-3500 cargo trailer getting 21.5 L/100km.
Had you considered recalibration of the PCM/ECM in either truck to compensate for the tire-size change, prior to testing?
Leebetter I have calibrated the 2020. So that one is on. But I always do pump to pump to make sure it’s right
This video shows me that alot of 6.7 owners the the big super duty facebook group are full of sh*t lol some saying they get 15mpg towing a 5th wheel..great video looking forward to see that mpg it gets with the gooseneck
Kevin Mckeddie well they might with stock tires but I still doubt it.
I have 2011 6.7 non deleted i pull gooseneck sometimes im lucky to get 11mpg when i bobtail i average 13 in winter and 16 summer but when it regions average 20 for couple days then it drops again no lift stock tires i run BFG AT's
Comparing the 19 to the 2020 do you find the 20 idles much higher when cold?
Hey Workplaytv did you see that Carli did confirm the 41/2 inch Lift does infact work with the 2020's? It's on their website now. Get that sucker so I can see what you think! Lol I'm thinking about Carli or BDS. Love your videos man keep em coming! #2020superduty
Philip Freudenberger Hey buddy yeah I seen that. It will be Carli or bds for sure
@@workplaytv I think my truck actually showed up at the Rail yard today and I'm beyond excited to finally get this damn truck. Ordered on Jan 7.
My F250 was ordered on Jan 8th. I have had it over a week now. I picked up the 7.3 gasser, 355 rear axle with a long box. It's a beast. No need for a diesel unless you do lots of towing. This is coming from the previous owner of a 2011 GMC 3500 with a 6" lift, tires rims and a tuned diesel with all power you can want. Thks workplaytv for a job well done. Great info here on your channel. Dave from Niagara.
@@davidharrison6805 Yeah the 7.3 is going to be a beast for sure but I just love diesels and I do a decent amount of towing not like fulltime or anything but I just love diesels. Good luck with your truck and I can't wait till I get mine.
@@oufreudfreud8341 I had a 2011. First 4 years no issues. 5 to 8 years of ownership it was getting really expensive for repairs. Lots of things were starting to go. I had one friend that had CP4 pump go (20k in repair) another with a turbo (6k). I love diesels too. Just ask a Ford, GM or Dodge dealership mechanic what they drive. I didnt find one that drove diesel. It's all because of the complexity and expense of the repairs. It's crazy $$$. I purchased my F250. Got over $11,200 off the purchase msrp price outta Toronto on a custom new order. Great prices from large volume discount dealers. Dave from Niagara.
Hey brother, quick question. Does the 2020 come equipped with LED third brake and reverse lights?
Christopher Robin on the Platinum it is
workplaytv Thank you sir!
As soon as he changed the wheels and tires, the yellow door post sticker became irrelevant.
Feel any difference with the steering wheel not returning with the 37’s when you take a turn?
Dave Lindo Nope steering feels great
waiting a review in 2020 F600
What is the rear end gear ratios on your trucks? Is a 4.10 worth the extra towing power? Will be pulling 20000 gvw fifth wheel trailer.
Larry Clemmer mine is 3.55 to get 4.10 you have to buy dually
@@workplaytv thanks for the info
Ru going to plow with the 2020 or what help us out lmao Eagles 🦅
Alan Serge Lol I am getting by with 1 plow right now so prob not
How many miles are on the 2019, Also is it deleted? That will be the real reason the 2020 gets better fuel MPG!
Not deleted. 40,000milea
👍👍
What gear ratio in the rear end
What gears ratio is in the 19 ? What is in the 2020
You should use GPS on your phone for mileage numbers. That will get within 10 feet of distance.
Les Garten I do in other videos
@@workplaytv I like your videos, watched a lot of them. Always saw you using a very inaccurate way of determining distance. GPS would make that problem non existent. Then use the Fill to the click, wait 30 seconds fill to click again way of fillup would give you the best numbers.
Les Garten the app I use for distance using the same satellites that’s your god maps uses
Is the front bumper of 2020 the same as the 2019? Can I put a tremor chin spoiler on my ‘19?
I have heard that the jokes don’t line up
Jokes or bolts?
Haywoodya69 Norman Lol the clip holds .
Where did you get the gauge cluster on the platinum
@@chaestonnomayer4979 banks
What rear end did you have?
Does your truck knock a little at idle? I have a 2020 f350 6.7 and it knocks a little.
Sidney Johnson nah not that I notice
Diesels don’t knock...normal idle
Lol, you mean it sort of sounds like a diesel at idle?
Are you going to put a plow on the 2020?
Unstoppable CZcams Not for now. I’m getting by with 1 plow
workplaytv oh ok well if you do end up getting a plow I recommend a fisher V-plow I run a 10” on my F-550 and I love it
In Russia, such cool cars are not sold!
PS Fucking Putin!!!!!!!!!!!
Or how you got the dials to 200 MPH
Ford is the best!!
Have you ever tried a Chevy or GMC to pull trailers?
Hey workplaytv did you ever get a chance to measure the 2020 rear block. If you could please let me know. Thanks
no48mc Shit man I’m sorry. Busy these days and seems to always skip my mind
Any chance you could measure it tomorrow. Please let me know. Thanks
Mud flaps installed
charles w I just trimmed the factory ones to make fit. Have the new ones just haven’t installed yet
@@workplaytv what brand you thinking about? Huskys?
charles w Yeah I have the kickback in my garage right now just not sure if I’m going to use them yet
You must be math challenged. LOL 10.01 is not at all close to 10.9. It's .89 off. Otherwise great video. Thanks
Johndeerefarmer Hahaha I’m just saying compared to how far off sons of the computers are this is pretty good
Does the 2020 have hill start
