Great video. The problem I have with my 2020 I ride everyone’s bumper. It wants to go and it takes a light foot to keep it slow. It’s a great truck!

Yup, I have the same crack in my 2020 F350 Platinum. My windshield got hit with a stone on driver's side the 2nd day I got my truck (Jan 15). Since then I have had at least another 5 or 6 stones hit the windshield.
We've got a 2020 F450 I pull a 30,000 lb trailer and I notice that the truck even if floored will not get over 2,600 rpm not that it runs out of power it just starts shifting to higher gears..I manual it tops out at 2,700 rpm red line is 4,000

I test drove an XLT f350 dually and it seemed to catch every rut and liked to wander but my platinum one doesn’t do that. I wonder if the different tires are making the difference.

Love your videos. Question im getting a 2020 f350 platinum thanks to you haha but with the tremor package. What your input will it affect fifth wheel towing capability? Will the towing capability be the same?
Ford needs to start paying me for how many tines I have heard that! Lol. The tremor package reduces the payload and towing but it is very very minimal.

I got a 21 tremor f250 tremor (similar or same springs as the 350 with this package) it is night and day more powerful then my 17 was. 60,000 miles on it with no issues. Love the Chanel !!

@@danielwilliams4473 I love it, I had a second gen and loved that but this truck is much more powerful! Love the suspension but it’s a bit rough, what can you expect from the diesel variant for towing. It’s kind of the best of both worlds. Yeah it’s not as smooth as the power wagon off-road but it wasn’t meant to be it will however out tow it by a huge margin without squatting. It has locker in the rear and posi in the front plus the same off-road modes as the raptor.
@@josephcraig765 how many mpg you get? I've been a wide range from 16-23 unloaded. I have a 7 ish thousand pound camper I'll be pulling. Right now I'm pulling it with a 2016 tahoe z71. Max towing on it is 8400lb. I live in Maryland and I'm only able to tow within 2hr out. I definitely wouldn't try and take it over any mountains. F250 diesel might be over kill but, I see it as a stable and safe vehicle for any trips through the mountains. And way better fuel mileage.
@@danielwilliams4473 I get around 18.5 city and 24 highway but mine is deleted and tuned. Prior to the delete, I was getting around 16 city and 19.5 highway depending on conditions. However towing it will do much better on fuel than a gas truck, lower rpm and more torque
My 2019 Raptor locks out tenth gear when in tow haul mode. Surprised they all don’t... not even close to same trucks but you’d think Ford would do the same. BTW- second half audio sounds awesome, probably best I’ve heard actually
Christopher Rauscher it actually will pull in 10th nit bad. Did really well actually before the 37s. A lot of torque!
The fact that the 2019 speed is off due to the tires makes it actually a little bit better than this video suggest. So when he’s pulling the hills and saying that it’s not keeping up actually keeping up because it’s going faster than speedometer saying.
I had the same windshield crack, in the same place on my 2017 Ford f-250 6.7 short bed. Happened one night when the windshield got cold. Actually woke up to find it on my wedding day.

I know you ran the derringer on ur 17 or 19 (can’t remember right off hand 😃). When you was using it, did it provide the power close to the 20? Just curious because I have a 19 and looking at the derringer. Thanks

What is the difference between using the tow/haul button , and not using it ?
I have a 2019 F350 off of a commercial lease , plain jane truck - no cruise , no leather seats , no big screen TV in the dash , just a work truck with 12,000 miles on it .
It changes your shift points. It will hold the beer longer for getting up to speed, will drop down sooner to help not losing speed, will help hold you back when going down hill and will gear down quicker and use higher rpms to bring you to a stop.

Just getting started in Hotshot, been in big trucks nearly 30 years with the same company as an owner/operator. I will be working with most of the same people, just a small truck pulling a 38' Diamond C trailer.
With no cruise , I will have to be extra careful not to get a speeding ticket. Let float down hill at 70 and uphill at 65 .

Sorry for asking that question I seen the rest of the video here in central Iowa there was a bad storm about a week ago and here internet and cell phone service has been sketchy or non-existent
You had mentioned some differences in pulling after the leveling kit and 37s but you also mentioned a fix to this problem I never caught that video, very interested in your solution!

I've got a 2020 f250 and added 2 1/2" leveling kit and 35s and noticed a difference in pulling myself!

Just curious can you tell a difference between your exhaust brake on your 20 compared to your 19
2020 is better. Still not as good as it should be though.
My 2019 doesn't hold back nearly as well as my 2012 Cummins manual trans did. I'd have bought another Ram if they didn't drop the G56 option

Ford's windshields are terrible about cracking. Had the same issue in my '15 F250, and in my '19 F250. They are weak.
Never had an issue in my 16 250

I sure did. I seen noticeable increase in fuel mileage. Others have commented saying they didn’t. So not sure what to say

Payload is the only difference for srw, duallys have optional widetrac axle which makes turn radius killer good

Odd. I have a 2020, windshield broke 2 weeks into me owning it. Mine is on the very edge of the passengers side about one foot up from the bottom.
I have 3 of these trucks and have them all replaced. My 550 twice. My 17 I traded in Yup cracked.
Yep, my 2020 F450 had its windshield replaced already at 2k miles

Same way he did his, through forscan. Go to forscan.org to download the software and it will also tell you what you will need to buy.
