Hahaha not sure why I keep saying “turbos” I guess maybe cause it’s so fast!
workplaytv it goes 200 now wtf
Tristan Salinas Lol km/hr
workplaytv oh lmao
if its like the other 6.7 trucks it basically has 2 turbos... though its one single exhaust side of the turbo the compressor side has 2 compressors... one for each side of the engine... so i guess you are good calling it a turbo or turbos... lol
@@dpd16790 I think you are referring to the GT32 SST from 2011-2014. Each compressor did not feed each bank separately. They were sequential, not parallel. They had problems and were replaced with I think a single GT37 in 2015. These 2020s are using a single Garrett VGT of some sort.
New POV is a great idea brother...perfect for riding along
Took me a sec to realize your speedo is showing Klicks as the primary. It's a beautiful truck. My son has a 20 Platinum too and let me take it for a spin. Really incredible power and performance from such a heavy vehicle.
I like the pov. Trucks sweet. I have a platinum white 2019 expedition that has the same interior pretty much. Adaptive cruise is awesome lane keeping and all that. My 16 f250 has non of that but I still love it.
Great job on the initial overview of the new 2020 Super Duty. Anxiously waiting on more! :-)
That is a sweet looking rig, can’t wait to see it all lifted.
it's a BEAST......slightly tamed
Sweet rig, keep the vids coming 👏👏👏👏👏👍
Recently found your channel. Looking forward to the upcoming vids on the new truck; GO FORD! I don't need anything THIS big, but, it's good to see. Y'all Be Safe! PS: Keep the snow up there in NS! LOL...
Raymond Schneider Lol thanks
Nice vid bro. I got the same truck last week but it’s a 250. Truck hauls major ass and the new 10 speed is so smooth. Amazing truck. I love the new grill. Going to level it and add 35/20s next week. I’ll look forward to your updates!
Same bro ! I love the 10 speed
Really debating on getting one. What gears did u get on the truck. I’ve seen 3:55 and 3:331
Congratulations! Your driving my dream truck!
Adaptive cruise can be strange/sketchy when vehicles enter or exit your lane, or through turns on highway. Takes some getting used to. Especially the unexpected hard braking...
Awesome video, thank you so much for posting. What's your axle ratio on this? I didn't catch it if you said it
I can’t wait to get my hands on one to tune! Kori from PPEI posted on his Instagram saying over 700hp emissions compliant. There’s always more on the table with a lighter variant 😎
JaegerWrenching Yeah these are a great platform to work off of.
Awesome truck! Can't wait!
Congratulations on the truck I really like it. I like the color same as my 18 250. Seems to be really gaining in popularity for white trucks. Can't wait to see what you have planned. # let it snow! We need it desperately in northern nh. Been waiting to go out and plow all 30 plus accounts.
Congratulations brother. Sweet truck.
Very Nice truck n appreciate the video’s buddy...
Love this channel bro.... ford team superduty 💯💯💯
Look very neat man..dont make it so wild...it look so nice stock..enjoy..by the way happy new year ..waiting for those videos..regards..
Sweet ride dude! My 2020 F250 Velocity Blue 6.7l Platinum w/ Tremor package is waiting for me at my deal when I get back in town.
Skai R Like I kid on Xmas morning I bet! lol
That’s gonna look sweet!
So I’ve been wondering have you done any towing with the truck yet? I feel with the 10 speed trans, it’ll will want to keep searching for a gear it likes which would be an issue with towing.
Just test drove both 2020 gas 7.3 and the diesel back to back today. 7.3 sure sounds good but the brakes on the gas didn't seem as good as the 6.7 don't know why but just my experience. Having drove both I must say there's just something about the diesel sound it's like music to my ears . Happy you finally got your rig bud.👍 Go Pat's
leardi58 Thing is a rocket!
Just sold my 2019 Platinum and am at the closing table for a 2020 Lariat Tremor. Are the seats really that different? Anything else u find different?
Reelestates Well I’m
Not sure if it’s just the Platinum trim but I have heard even in the Lariat they are softer
O.M.G....
Beauty! Bring on the turbo noise! Love this truck - gotta have one. My only complaint - they shrunk the 'Super Duty' and Ford badge on the tailgate.
Now going back to watch yesterday's video...
The "Super Duty" and and Ford badge is only shrunk on the ones that have the applique on the tailgate, for the rest of the trims the lettering is still large
Kind of a slight attempt at sarcastic humor because there's not much to dislike on this truck....Thanks, good to know otherwise!
17' F-250 XLT cc 6.7,8'bed 4x4, 3.55. I drove from New Jersey to North Carolina. Average MPG was 19.2. I can't complain. The new one looks great. Friggin mint 👌
Love the vid bro🙏🏻
Great video! Exactly the color and model that I want to order, only in the Tremor package...
Does the 2020 come with a turbo brake? Also, I didn’t see in the video where you mentioned the updated Headlamps and fog lamps for the 2020 mid-cycle refresh. They sure are nice! (Just would’ve been A LOT nicer if they used the Tremor air dam on the F-250/350)
May I also ask why you didn’t choose the Tremor package when you ordered your FX4? I get that you want to lift later, and while I can say that I had a Back Country Kit with Fox 2.0’s on my ‘16, and I appreciate the hell out of Carli products and service, do you think Carli will be much different than an OEM Ford Tremor package?
Good luck with the truck!!!
Hey yeah the new headlights are great! I didnt get the tremor because it would have been a waste of money. I am swapping out all of those parts and wheels anyway. Carli is great cant wait!
so what is the gear
axle radio do have on the differencial
omg i want to see the what unloaded SD 7.3 gaser is getting for MPG i need a super duty to pull my trailers but i dont pull them often
i just want to know if its going to break me in fuel if i but one like the 6.2 did hell i still use my old 6.9 to move my trailers because it atleast gets 16 mpg
that 2016 6.2 f250 pretty much just sits in the driveway because its 9.5-10 mpg stabes my in the side
the grill looks a bit like my 19 F-150 Limited i had 6 months ago..it sure does look like the platinum grill though for sure. Enjoy your new ride bro..
What undercoating do you use? I hear krown is big in Canada. I have always used ziebart but more people are saying that oiling ( krown, nhoh, fluid flims, etc) is better. Thanks for your input. Just bought a 2019 f150 and trying to keep it looking good.
Alan McMahon Yeah typically I use crown or rust check
Is this getting a banks? Is the height difference do to lack of fx4 /payload plow package? I'd be giddy with that mileage to be honest. Curious what it'll be on the gassers
Mike A They lowered the 2020s. It will be getting some goodies for sure
What did Ford do to make the truck ride better? I test drove a 2020 6.7 a few days ago. Agree with it is a very powerful engine.
Loved how tall the 17-19s are, sad to hear these are a little shorter. Can you get it without the trailer assist knob or does it automatically come with some other package? I hate those things to be honest.
Reese McGee It’s come with the camera package and trailer combination. Only time I’ll use it will be to try in a video! Haha
What is the mileage tracker app that you use?
So how does the 2020 power compare to the 2017/2019 with the Derringer. Power/Torque should be similar between the Derringer 2019 and stock 2020.
jnuechte I find thd 2020 still quicker and faster response
I realize it has a locker in the rear axle but what's upfront? Is it open or a limited slip? Also what made go with the auto 4x4 as opposed to the manual? I like the idea that you have the option to manually lock your hubs but what would be ideal is a auto locking hub with the manual option and a manual shift on the floor. Either way beautiful truck sir.
Pete Piper Just open in front with Manual lock option.
My 2018 KR has the Sony sound system and includes a CD player. My brother's 2019 Platinum has the B&O system which does not have the CD player. I don't use it often, but am glad I have it. Very nice 2020 Platinum!
Such good looking trucks!
What's up with the sticker on the mirror?
How will mileage get better after break in? What exactly changes to increase it?
MrVegaslive Just from the factory it’s gone now. I usually see 2-3 mpg gain. Everything just loosens up. It’s like laying in bed for a year and then trying to run. Haha
does it have a heated wheel?
Hammerdown Motorsports yes sir. She is smoking hot! Lol. Get that rattle fixed in the rebel yet? Lol
It doesn't come with an Armani tux?
How do you feel the cameras work while plowing? I’m waiting for my truck to get to the dealership from the factory. Just curious to hear your opinion I also use boss v plow.
Parker Hays I like the backup camera with plowing that’s pretty much it.
@@workplaytv Thanks!
Ford have def picked up their game regarding looks. Best looking rig on the road. Pitty here in Australia they start at $140k 😩 I want one
What brand are those electric steps?
Can you please make another 17 videos about this truck? Thanks.
Just bought mine. It is a monster. I have been driving a 2004 fx4.
Good info... I’m just about to order a 2020. My ‘17 Lariat Ultimate seats are hard, so I’m glad to see the Platinum offers softer foam. You can’t get everything with Platinum though...I really like the blackout sport package which isn’t available on that model. I doubt there’s much of a difference between the transmissions mpg wise.
I think the 2020 should get slightly better mileage because;
1) Ford revised a LOT of engine components for 2020, which they claim will improve fuel efficiency, including - turbocharger, intercooler system, intake manifold, fuel rails, heads, and pistons.
2) The 10 speed's top gear is about 7% taller than the 6 speed's top gear. I have noticed on my 2017 F-350 that when not towing/hauling, it has plenty of reserve power in top gear and would benefit from a taller gear. That might be even more the case for 2020, as the revised engine has 13.5% more torque. (1050 vs. 925 lb-ft for the 2017)
Question on the steering; my wife and i were looking at a 19 f250 plat and we ended up NOT buying it because the steering was SO HEAVY it was hard for her to turn the wheel in tight spaces like parking lots or performing a 3 point turn. In your last video you said the steering felt smoother i believe, but do you think that the steering is lighter (easier for my dainty 110lb wife) to turn while performing a 3pt turn or in a small parking lot? She liked the Chevy/Ram steering over the ford as it was much much lighter and drove more like a car which was easy for her to turn. If its that much lighter with the adaptive steering changes then we'll go get a 2020 f250 soon!
Timothy Vitale Heh man you will
Be happy when you drive the new one. At slow speeds it is much lighter now. It’s is electric assisted.
@mtrujillo1973 explains why the 2017 we drove the steering was significantly lighter!
Just bought the 2020 lariat. The seats blow, i feel like I have a basketball jammed in my lower back. Anyone else have this problem?
I hope it has the Snowplow Prepackaged. Because if you add a snowplow on one without the snowplow prep you just void the warranty. Can we see the weight rating sticker and the window sticker with all the options mainly.
Don Hanson You bet
Where do isn't the husky mats?
Wow!! Impressive. Congratulations on the new truck. 2nd best , but nice. 👍🏻
Lone Wolf Hahahaha yeah yeah
mtrujillo1973 Yeah your right. Ford probably 3rd best. Lol
Lone Wolf Hahaha smart ass
The dealership I am friends with have both a 7.3 and 6.7 diesel Tremor lariat on order for me. I appreciate the mileage info..that's what I was looking for. I presently have a 15 platinum with a 6" lift and 37's I am trading.
Bad to the bone brother keep up the awesome work you deserve it shes beautiful
Love the videos! Much appreciation for making them! If you get around to it, can you measure height differences between the ‘19 350 Vs the ‘20? Thanks!
BigDiesel67 1 inch
Does it have ambient lighting, I heard that it was taken out for 2020 ..?
david yallier I’ll
Have to check it out and get back to ya. Haven’t even driven in the night yet. Lol
Hey man what was your reasoning with not going with the 3500 Cummins? Did those interiors not persuade you in that direction?
James Self Nah I trust the Fords
Just curious, but I have an 18 F350 Platinum SB. What’s your door sticker say as far as cargo capacity on that truck? Since you don’t have the factory 5th wheel prep, and FX4 package. I have the factory 5th wheel prep, and FX4 package and mine says 3500 pounds.
509Mafia 3445 I believe
workplaytv not much difference then. Appreciate it! Congrats on your new truck.
I've just seen a video of the f150 cattleman Edition. 2020 model. I'm wondering if there's a f250 and f350 version. Cattleman is for the working man. Farm and ranch use. I drive forklifts for a living lol but I still want a cattleman. It just suits my personality. I work hard.I'm tough too.
Black shark swimmer Lol I’m
Not sure. I’m sure at some point they will.
My 2020 did not come with FX4 package ($450 option) either. Ford did add the skid plates ($200 option) on my truck. But another difference when you don't get the FX4 package is that the truck doesn't have the "Hill Decent" option so no "Hill Decent" button beside the camera button.
Yeah I would just use 4low in that case
That's a beautiful truck. I'd probably go for the 7.3L gas V8 but still, a beautiful Super Duty nonetheless.
I ordered a 2020 f550 and I can’t wait to see how that preforms ... thanks
carmas54 Awesome man!! I have a 17 550 and it’s a beast!
workplaytv I just wish they didn’t degrade it
carmas54 I agree
carmas54 There is a video showing a Ford engineer discussing the Diesel. I believe he said that the 'Medium duty' trucks in Ford's line Up (which includes the F550) have a reduced power rating. This greatly increases their longevity. That is needed since they will always be working hard to move so much mass.
Great videos as always. What kind of undercoating did you put on the truck? Was it through ford?
Yup
@@workplaytv what kind of undercoating is it?
@@michaelsieczka850 don’t know
I'm curious. Why were the dash lights flashing?
I expected the 350 to appear to ride rougher. Looked like a pretty smooth ride to me. Impressive.
I don't recall anyone in my family except for one cousin ever buying a Ford for four generations.
Dig the truck, by the way. I have driven a Silverado Duramax 2500. Wasn't crazy about it. I look forward to trying one of these. I like the looks of the Ford much better; both inside and out.
Wayne Cummings they weren’t it’s how it comes through the camera
@@workplaytv Gotcha.
Normal driving not towing at what speed does it generally go into 10th gear, it looked like 50 mph??
bill84345 Yeah around that
Same exterior and interior as the 2017?? Minus the transmission
Corey Mogren close
U know how to pick um for sure!
On the market for new 6.7 but I’ve been seeing more 3:31 gear ratio. Curious if that is a big deal because of 10 speed
Nah would be fine
@@workplaytv I saw your gas mileage video so I might still search for the 3:55
I pull a Rockwood roo with Golfcarts. 7000lbs
Beautiful truck but do you think you may get a F-250 2020 work truck with a 7.3 liter Godzilla engine?
Nah I need the diesels for towing. Think I am good for now. My fleet is very new.
Nah I’m good for awhile now. Lol
Nice job editing out the death wobble
matthew anderson no death wobble sir. Have owned 4 of these trucks and never had it happen.
i really need to take a drive down to see ya and check the truck out buddy, would love to try towing with it,
Kevin Rogers Sounds good my man. It will be geared up soon
@@workplaytv you have an email set up with youtube? ill email ya my cell number and we can shoot the shit and work out a dy for me to bring my old truck down and check out the new rigs
I love my paid off 2014 King Ranch 6.7. Nice truck, though.
Anybody, have any ideal what a good lease payment would be on these trucks??
Money Green ford doesn’t lease Super duty trucks. They’re heavy duty so they’d just get them back all beat to hell. You can lease through third party but that’s sketchy and they charge what they want.
They do a commercial lease which is what I do. Unlimited mileage. They take money off the top but it’s a higher rate with a 20% buyout at the end of term.
We need a 0-60 time for this bad boy! And hello from Pictou County!
Chad BassMaster Hey man you bet that will be coming soon!! Awesome buddy get ready for the storm Wednesday. Lol
What rear gear ratio do you have
Beast 5.0 3.55
I love that truck i want it
I want to want a Super Duty... but my 2018 F-150 platinum already tows 12,700 lbs and gets low 20’s mpg. Hard to make the case for this truck unless I get a much bigger travel trailer. Sounds like I need a bigger travel trailer.
Greg Weik If you are towing 13,000 lbs in your 150 you are way over on your payload. The base model 2wd regular cab is rated for that. Not a fully loaded 150. Bug sounds like a beautiful truck.
czcams.com/video/_EkPfuKzdOU/video.html check out my video to help understand
workplaytv -I didn’t say I was towing 13k pounds, I said my truck is rated for it. I only tow about 4K pounds regularly. I believe you missed my point, in any case.
Greg Weik No worries but your specific truck isn’t actually rated for that is what I am saying.
workplaytv -no, it literally is rated at 12,700 all in. Include the weight of all occupants and cargo in that, and that’s the number. My point is the step up in terms of towing (not payload) is nominal to a super duty but with daily sacrifices in size, mpg, etc.
Do you use the massage seats?
Basigman 12 yeah I tried them out. Felt pretty good! I’ll use them on long trips
Cell tower service is where it’s at- trucks are sick....just found ya on YT
Been driving for two days. Mixed highway and local in my 2020 350 dually with 4:10 gears. Getting 13.4 so far
4:10 gas or diesel?
Not bad mpg with 4.10s. Should be a little better with 3.55?
Nate Young diesel
hogdriver88 should be better with 3:55
Matthew I'm not sure if duallys are even offered with a 3.55. I think I saw a chart from Ford which showed 4.10 and 3.73 as the offerings for duallys. In contrast, the single rear wheel Diesels are offered with ratios down to 3.31.
So how’s the truck doing ? Any update on the mpg?
Daniel Warren Truck is doing great. It’s on 37s and still getting 18-20
Are you aware of "Engineering Test Mode", where you can adjust the Lie-O-Meter to make it better reflect real world MPG? From the factory, it is set at 1000. I dialed it back to 960, and it is closer to what I calculate when I fill up. I can post a link to tell you how to get into it if you need it...
Nope I didn’t know that.
@@workplaytv czcams.com/video/GPBuHCrJ7wA/video.html. Just make sure your doors are closed and you start the truck when you do the sequence, or it will not go into ETM…
nice truck
Any issues with the reliability on these Diesel engines? Thanks
Nope so far so good
@@workplaytv thanks for the reply. I just keep hearing people been having issues with them. I rather get the diesel over the 7.3. I hear they’re having issues with them. 🤦♂️

3.55
From a stop, does it or has it started in 2ed?
tallon morrison complete stop it starts in 1
@@workplaytv interesting to see as it breaks in if it'll start in 2nd. Look forward to the videos too come.
Does the hitch come with the 2” reducer or is it 2.5” hitch without the Reducer? Thanks great vid. I ordered new tremor with the Godzilla. I currently have an f150 so I need to order new receiver with bigger drop that’s why I’m asking
Matt Namey Yeah it comes with the reducer.
Thanks
3” receiver w 2.5 reducer
Good info here, looks like around 17+- highway.
Strategic Bushcraft Just did a pump to pump video I posted yesterday
Would you be able to start saying or putting in the video the the litres/100km for us Canadians too? I know why you're doing it in mpg but it would be sweet if you put it in litres/100km too

@@workplaytv I'll probably get one later this year. Plan on getting a bed camper, probably Arctic Fox for mountain trips. Thanks for the video. Really I don't think anything else comes close to the mpg this gets.
Why’d you choose platinum instead of limited? You can’t go wrong with either. I’m just curious.
Andrew Munoz Wasn’t really into the light interior and for the $2k difference in price to me it was worth it. I also like the grill on the platinum more
workplaytv Got it. Beautiful truck. Congrats!
What’s the black things on top of the truck?
Black things?
The shark fin? It’s for the mobile hotspot
Black caps on rear of the roof

What dealer undercoat are you referring to?
kurtomac Through Ford.
The frames come e-coated. I was wonder what was available that was extra?
kurtomac Just your typical undercoating. Helps with all the gear under the truck if you ever want to take parts off they don’t get corroded
Nice! What Gear ratio did you get? Does the truck start in first gear or can it start in second? Can you touch on the maintenance schedule in the manual? Sorry for all the questions but I'm really thinking of getting one.
3.55 gears typically it has been starting off in 1st but then jumps to 3rd and 5th it seems like. I don’t really go by the manual much. I go by how hard I have been working my truck.
All 10 speeds use the 3:55
Justin Turdhole You can get 3.31 in the 10 speed
workplaytv my bad , the last time I read up they were all going to be 3:55
Is this oxford white or star white? BEAUTIFUL TRUCK! :)
Starr white. Thanks
workplaytv Thank you! Love the great content 🔥
I'm sure with 4k+ miles on it the MPGs will be improved.
Does this one have the 3.31 or 3.55 rear axle ratio?
Adam D 3.55
workplaytv oh it’s silly fast then. I saw a video on one with the 3.31 and it pulled harder than the 2019 with 3.55, so I know this one pulls hard. Great vids and congratulations on a beautiful new rig.
13:40 - Yes!! Carli FTW! Hope you go with Kings in the kit.
Andrew Hensley I won’t be going with kings. The kings are made for off-roading I won’t be doing much of that. The fox will do what I need for now.
@@workplaytv I do here you loud and clear, but you ARE off road quite a bit :) I am curious to know what the difference will be with the Fox components vs King in the same kit - since Carli tunes both custom for their various kits and the intended use. Side note, I built out a Tremor online in the Lariat sport with the black hood deflector and "Silver Spruce" paint. So freakin awesome.
