The reality is NRG rocket league has become the most popular team, that massively helps the content side which brings in a lot of money and sponsorships. Happens with e sports in other games. Optic, tsm, 100t, Atlanta Faze all went through a patch where they couldn’t win so had to sacrifice a side to make them win again and that’s what NRG need to do.
Bro JSTN you’re never going to be able to play out every single situation in game perfectly or be able to have a positive outcome on every play. It’s a part of the game. Just play and as a team communicate what you think needs to change from each player. Whether that be fixing bad rotational habits, not looking for passes, bad coms. It doesn’t matter how good you are at Rocket League you can still get beat on a challenge by a GC that’s what having someone behind you is for.
We all have our periods. Best thing to do is just let it go for a while and focus on something else that is relaxing, keeps you busy, but doesn't inject your brain with high levels of dopamine. Like a long walk in the forests or build a castle in Minecraft. It will reset the brain and make you come back in beast mode.

Meh its because it has evolved to a point where the fun is min maxed out of the game. Theres not really anyone who truly carries with a crazy new mechanic these days like squishy and jstn did back in their prime. And I doubt there will be anything new to discover either. theres only so much that is possible with the limits of the game. The best players nowadays are just consistent team players who also have all the mechanics under their belt - where as jstn came frombeing able to solo carry.
To me this is a sign that there really needs to be a roster change. I would love to see this NRG make another lan, but the only life that they really had this season was when they beat Optic in game 7 to go to the semi's back in fall. They are 3 good players, but its hard to break out when you're doing the same thing over and over. They need that feeling of playing with a new roster that makes you excited to play.

I honestly think Justin just needs to step away from rRocket League for a little bit. work on his mentality and then come back. hes Holding NRG back at this point in time and its legit only going to get worse as this goes on. He still has so much Talent and experience in this game that anyone would love to learn off. but he needs a breath of fresh air.

But especially Jstn showed sign of lacking fun playing RL for a long time. Only Garrett is the one optimistic player. Just my opinion.
