    Hi Chris. Great comparison video. I think the two things that put me off the Broman are the mildness and the plastic cap. I can't imagine that razor will have the longevity of the Leaf. I think the Leaf is an excellent head shaver but as you may well have gathered from my last video, it did not perform well against 7 days of beard growth. I have put all my razors to the same test and the DE's win hands down for face shaves vs the leaf. As you often say your mileage may vary especially if you consider most people shave more than once a week🤣😂🤣😂. I do think that the Leaf's weak point in terms of reliability and longevity will be the pivot mechanism in the long term, however as you pointed out it has a lifetime guarantee 👍 I think a good comparison would be between the Leaf and a DE when you do your face shave. Just a suggestion 🙂

    • @IAMCDB
      @IAMCDB  Před 4 lety +1

      Thanks Mr. G. I agree on all points. I'm going to compare the leaf and broman primarily because they are both half DE blade pivoting razors. I prefer my normal DE's for face shaving to the leaf.

  • @MrTuffCookies
    @MrTuffCookies Před rokem

    If you need to add some grip to your Leaf, try putting some Talon Grips tape on it. They have a sandpaper type (like skateboard grip tape) and a rubberized type. The rubberized type isn't super tacky and I don't think it'd work *super* well getting water and shave cream on it, but it should definitely help a lot, from the sounds/looks of it. You might want to go with the sandpaper type. But Talon Grips sticks to whatever you put it on REALLY well, so either type should last.

    Broman maybe of interest if I could get it to Australia, but considering how much better my Leaf is for efficiency I will probably not get the Broman. As you mention the issues with the Leaf can be mitigated: wide head, which you adapt too after experience with razor ; sometimes slippery handle, which can be managed with Alum on the fingers. Maybe V2 of the Leaf will address these concerns (not expected for 18 months).
