Great demo, Chris. I looking to get my son into wet shaving and this showed me that I will go with the Leaf razor for him. Besides if he doesn't like it my daughter-in-law can always use it for shaving her legs. Your insight and integrity is quickly is becoming unparalleled in the community. Great shave again IAMCDB 👍 The Macaroot cream is one of my favourite creams. It does not have the best of scents but it more than makes up for it with slickness and confidence inspiring cushioning. I too, wish it came in different scents. Maybe, if enough of us sent them a message re different scents we could persuade them to expand their range.
I agree with you 100%. It's a phenomenal performer that can be had at a great price. I don't think I've ever tried to message them but perhaps I will:)

Great comparison, the Leaf wins again, as you know I love mine. I do like a good shaving cream so I will definitely give the Maca Root a try, it's available in Australia at an affordable price (from The Body Shop).

Yes, in this type of format it's a hard razor to beat.
I would have to agree with you on that. I think the Broman would be good for a beginner, maybe to shave under your lip, and delicate parts.

Just came across this now and I don't think the twig was around when you were doing this I may be wrong but having said that it would be good to compare the twig by leaf against the one blade razor used here... Is it bro?.. Yeah hopefully you'd do a video... One blade razor against another brand with one blade🙂keep up the great content👍

Great shave Chris. I figured that the Leaf would come out on top because it's much more superior in every way. I've had mine for years now and for me the best blades that I can use in it is the Gillette 7 O'clock green blades in the top 2 slots. 2 passes with the grain and I am done. I will be changing the format of my channel to include all forms of shaving with the exception of eletric razors because I can't use those period. I am still going to take a break first though but not before I upload the #zoomgroomchallenge video that I was tagged for by Mantic59.

I think even with only a single blade the leaf would still come out on top. Cris from another cut above says that even with one blade the leaf is very efficient.

I don't have any discount codes unfortunately. I have heard Dovo/Merkur are having trouble but I'm not certain what will happen. Last I heard they were trying to restructure and attract investors. I don't know what the future hold for Dove/Merkur. I did see that tag, thank you!

The leaf is a good shave but no good for trimming round my goatie, i have to use my old razor for that.
I use the leaf mostly for head shaving but I don't mind it on the face. I find the twig to be a better face shaver though.

So Leaf comes with the Twig ??
It used to but it doesn't now. They're developing a metal version of the twig for getting the tight to reach places. I have no idea what it will sell for. Back to straights tomorrow:)

I just received my leaf razor but to spend $50 for broman? And filling up our landfills with plastic? I'll pass. And I like the feel of a more aggressive shave. I use my supply.co injector for under my nose since the head on the leaf is so large.
