    Hi Jake
If the rear axle has been rebuilt the crown and pinion may be adjusted incorrectly, the free movement or back lash may be off by a couple of thousand either on the centering of the crown ring or the pinion ring or both of them.
If you have a slight difference in the parallel of the u joint face's between the gearbox and the rear axle can cause a pressure difference in the yoke mounts in the gearbox and or the rear axle.
The only other two places are in a 2 piece drive shaft the carrier bearing or in the automatic gearbox the torque converter itself, but I think that may not be the case with you saying that the sound is there with it in neutral but it still would not hurt to have a look at the torque converter just on the safe side.
The Ford 100 is looking beautiful and original, she sound's good too.
Waiting for the next instalment, keep good time's going and make bad times good.

Who could ever hate a Bumpside!!!! The truck looks great and is same color as my Crew cab, although gonna make it two tone this time around. Wanting to have Wimbledon White on bed side hood etc although I have No chrome trim except around windshield grill front bumper and rear bumper body line is perfect to do two tone just not sure without trim.

Well, I'd definitely recommend the LMC Glass! It's great! But I'd go for a different seal. I've had better luck with the seals from Dennis Carpenter!
Sounds like you've got some awesome projects! I'm hoping to get my 63 together this year too!.

If you have a 2 piece drive shaft the center carrier brgs are famous for making noise on these old trucks

Yes! I have a 2 piece drive shaft! I'll be replacing that and whatever else needs some attention! It's definitely nothing big. Just a little noisy!

This next month I start the restore on my 69 Crew cab short box F250 was my daily for 40 years, cosmetics a mess, lol Flintstone truck thankfully all the sheet metal I need is available, so sad rust got it, Doesn't have a dent one in it, doors close perfectly haven't started it or done anything with it for 10 years, thinking about doing a you tube on complete restore from where it's sitting to shop! Motor turns fine, and radiator still full of anti freeze! 0 paint left on any part of motor! Lol daunting task but excited to do it! Love the Truck since New

PS I prefer long beds over the short. Nicer ride in my opinion. Short box make good Hot Rods
