I learned to wire/stiff plastic brush all the dirt off of around the joint where valley cover and cylinder head meet so stuff doesnt get put into the oil and coolant areas when head is removed. Vacuum it after brushing

Cheers for the tag! How good are some of the HPT options to just diable things like DOD with a few clicks. They don't have the same level for every platform, but they have GM nailed 😎

It sounds like my 2009. Get messages for hood latch , washer fluid low , TPMS not right, stereo messed up Winds up being the body control module. Ordered a new one through summit. I had a gift card. Lol. Have to have GM software ID the new module. Install coming. Have a bunch of stuff to replace,Hope it all works!

I'm curious if you got the truck cheap enough that you are still money ahead after the $$ spent for repairs?

Not too terrible! Lol bought the truck for around 10k after it was all said and done. It's an LT with 100,000 miles.
