SAM THE COOKING GUY Great job father !!
I've been watching since March, and your numbers keep going up and up and up and up...congrats!
I love your videos. Iâve made numerous things from your videos. All have been excellent.
It feels like just yesterday you had your one million subscriber giveaway.
Congratulations Sam!
My husband and I started watching a couple of months ago while in lockdown due to COVID19. I admit I cringe when you use bad language but I love you anyway! We have ordered the knife and I'm at work wearing the "make America Cook Again" Tshirt!
no one gives credit to how much editing max does just to make fun of his dad đ
And he does it so well! lol
9:23. Perfect example
It's what you gotta do if you wanna make quality content
I'll give him credit, but I'd rather he didn't.
I didn't know he was his son!
Sam, I'm Hispanic. Mom's side of the Family is from Mexico. Born and raised on carne asada and I tried you carne asada recipe and it was DELICIOUS! Better than the marinade from the carneceria. Everyone I had over said it was juicy and delicious. Keep up the good work my man.
ur not hispanic if u eating raw meat đ€ź
hell yeah im making this tonight!
Aztec MC Raw is uncooked. Rare is cooked to 125-135 degrees. Learn something.
@@zonedout5998 for real, heâs actin foolish
Bro you not welcome to the carne asada no moređ€Šââïžand you not even from mexico no more we donât want you
This is literally my FAVORITE CZcams channel, I could be bored, hungry, canât sleep, high, you name it I canât stop watching your videos !đđ€€
I made this at the firehouse yesterday... Iâve never gotten so many atta-boys from a meal in 10 years there.! EXCELLENT recipe! Thank you đđ»
Thank you for your service!
Mexican here: Those tacos look awesome! Sometimes my family in MTY uses Maggie seasoning, which has soy sauce. My family in Sonora uses salt only. My best friend from Chihuahua, says they only use salt and pepper. My brother-in-law in Tijuana uses orange, orange peels, garlic, and pepper. People in Michoacan use achiote, etc. It's a matter of preference and not traditionalism, which mostly talks about things you know rather than actual tradition. The only thing I have never seen or come across in Mexico is someone using sugar for marinating, but the closest thing is a type of orange that is sourer. The sweetness comes from the crema and the tomatoes in the salsa/pico.
Sugar is not an ingredient used for tacos in MĂ©xico, Sam is doing a good work and although all new ideas are welcome regarding recipes that taco has nothing to do with what we eat in MĂ©xico (not that he claimed so), I do not know if Sam has traveled down here but I can tell one thing for sure, people that comes from abroad to MĂ©xico have a hard time trying to find the "real" mexican food and that is because there is a stupid tendency to present things diluted to tourists in order to make it easier for them to like it, every day I talk to tourists that are on the quest to find and taste the real "comida mexicana" because what they find at the common places for tourist are exactly that, "the food for tourists", to whoever wants to taste a real taco made in MĂ©xico, get to the streets of MĂ©xico.
My grandma grew up in Mexico in the 30s and she also has used soy sauce, whoever getting mad about soy sauce needs to grow up. I also use soy sauce itâs been past down... keep it up Sam !!!
Cooking is about love and trying shit out. Sometimes it is about tradition too. But man the shit people get mad at. I live in Southern California and have had all kinds of street tacos. Everyone has a different method
BushidoKi I agree. Cooking is about love!!! Though the internet is about over opinionated hate trolls. Lol.
yes but his tortillas are trash and there is no defending those
Soy sauce, just makes good marinades.
lamentacion I can actually agree with that đ. He needed to cook them in some lard or grease from the carne.
I am Mexican and tried this. All I can say is that you are bad ass. My family loved it
Three minutes or so in....your son and you have a great relationship. I think that is what brings me back...the little things like you say, "Why are you doing this to me?" That's family time and really great!
"Zester's a really grate thing." Well can't argue with that.
LMAO
It's a fine microplane, I use mine to finish carve guitar necks đ€Łđđ€Ł

@@phil_matic LMFAO!
Just tried this today for my family and everybody LOVED it. I used a flank steak and let it marinate for about 18 hours. The meat came out really tender with a wonderful flavour. Will definitely be putting this into a regular summer time rotation.
Thanks for a great recipe.
Keep doing what you do Sam. Iâve taken many of your recipes and wowed the crowd. Been cooking since the age of 14-15 and youâve helped me in so many ways to elevate my game. Keep on making them hit cooking videos my brother. Waiting for my little boy to get a older to so he can do it himself, but heâs only three and loves my cooking.
I was born in Mexico and I use soy sauce. Itâs fire . Closed minds will eat the same food that gets boring . Switch it up a bit ! Preach Sam !
49er Faithfull . You probably donât know Spanish. Carne asadas are a clean slate and everyone does it different .
When my son grows up if the world doesnât end I wanna be a dad like sam is to max.
Isnt the world as we know it ending a good thing?
@@arbeitbear4325 No, it isn't.
@@arbeitbear4325 not for us buddy đwe only get one planet and life
In MĂ©xico, We do use soy sauce or Maggie to season/marinate our beef.
You darn right you guys do.
Mexico has a long history with the Chinese / Asians and their food and many other people from around the world.
From the beginning of New Spain and up until now.
Japanese peanuts come from Mexico.
And you're just now telling me I could have used Maggi this whole time? đł Well, next time I guess.
I made this this evening and was a triumph. Really enjoy your channel.
Also it was great to see a North America vist London and talk so highly of the food on offer.
I have increased my and my family's caloric intake tremendously with your recipes. Additionally I have learned SO much watching your vids. Love the attitude, LOVE the language, love the backyard, love the camera work. Your channel has been one of the highlights of the covid lockdown for me. THANKS!!!
Made these for my family for dinner tonight, Sam. Everyone loved them. Thank you!
I have made these for my husband so many times now... they have become his favorite thing!!!! Thank you!! đ

Carne asada tacos are the best!! Can you make al pastor next?đđđ

New shirt idea: Sam wiping his face with the paper towel roll
Yes
Epic Idea!! I would totally buy this!! đ
That is his signature move man

Great idea - just add the slanted white inline of a paper towel roll to one of his 'face shirts' LOL
I was deadass going to make your carne Asada steak recipe into tacos today and here we go
Deadass?? Not something we say on the west coast but I like it....
SAM THE COOKING GUY đ Iâm from Toronto
Me too! Only thing I'll do differently after watching this is making the avocado creme
Letâs us know how it turns out chief
I highly HIGHLY recommend you order Bravado's CRIMSON hot sauce to top your next round of these carne asada tacos. You'll thank me.
Sam, I have done many different marinades for carne asada, yours is hands down the best. Now it will be my go to marinade. The avocado cream spread was excellent as well
I've commented many times about your carne asada, and here I go again. IT'S FREAKIN BOMB! I love this marinade so much, I made kabobs the other week and marinaded my sirloin in it, and it was such a hit!!!! I've marinaded chicken with this recipe, I seriously can't get enough!!! Yay for soy sauce lol
I made this yesterday for my family,
Absolutely amazing flavors, definitely gonna make these more often.
Greeting from the Netherlands
Awesome recipe. I have tried making these many ways and this is now one of my favorites.
Hey Sam, I made these tacos today & they were a HUGE hit in my house. WOW! Thanks for putting out these videos. Youâre AWESOME!!!
I've made quite a few of Sam's recipes and I have to say, none of them have been bad and some were absolutely magnificent, like the yogurt chicken marinade!!!
I was eating hamburgers, and they started to get messy. Without thinking I grabbed the entire roll of paper towels and wiped my face on it. My mom gave me the most disappointing angry look. I haven't seen that look in a long time. Thanks Sam!
I made this recipe tonight for my family tonight. Huge hit!!! Thanks Sam!!!
Gonna do this the day after tomorrow. The waiting is HARD!
Amazing cuisine, flawless presetation, thank you for this!
Are those Maxâs âspecialâ plants in the background. The BEST heâs ever grown ?
I'm Mexican and I'm gonna try your carne asada recipe this weekend, thanks Sam!
Your carne asada has been a family favorite in my home for a while now. The marinade is absolutely amazing.
Great idea on the thin flap fold over @ the end. Never thought of that. Thanks for the tip.
Let the man cook how he wants. It's his show
I made this exactly the same as shown, exept thati used a charcoal grill. Turned out AMAZING, one of the best tacos i have ever had!!
I canât tell you how happy this recipe makes me. Itâs perfect. Iâve made the marinade 3 times and I found that 2-3 hours is perfect for a grocery store skirt steak
These were a hit at my birthday party! Thanks for making everything so delicious.
"I see you got a little Nakiri knife action there." Lol Your knife is Dwight Schrute approved!! That's awesome Sam, congrats on the signature knife!
Sam. I grew up in a mostly Latino neighborhood in Southern California- several of my neighbors used Soy Sauce as their "secret ingredient." Only thing I think is a must add is some dried Mexican oregano and some crushed garlic.
@@melissahill7930 Mexican oregano is actually a thing and different from oregano lmao
@@queeffersthrlnd1620 It's funny, chill out.
He used garlic
lamentacion it was a weed joke đ ig u didnt get it

Thank you. Made this tonight and family loves it!!! †its the best đ đ
I made your recipe and it was super delish so I subscribed to your Channel and looking forward to try more of your recipes, thanks for sharing!
You should add a jalapeño to the avocado crema
100% nailed it dude. Absolutely needs a fresh grilled jalapeño whizzed up in that crema.
You are correct we did. And it was on point.
Yup, that's what I was thinking..
Or just add jalapeño to the onion and tomato to make pico de gallo
I put it in the pico.
Cool to see the cameras and stuff from your point of view.
This has become a weekly staple at my house. Sunday night Carne Asada (only I make full on Pico de Gallo instead of the salsa he makes at the end.) This is a phenomenal recipe. Your fantastic Sam. Just Fantastic. Thank you Sam.
As a person whoâs been to multiple carne asadas, this looks amazing well done you never fail to make something good
Looks great!
That's high praise coming from Rick!

"dad what do we do if someone wants their steak well done?"

Weâve followed your carne asada recipe and ITS THE BEST IVE EVER HAD! PERIOD!
made this tonight and have to say one of the best things I've made. Flavor was incredible. Cheers!
I made these for our Labor Day dinner. Everyone loved them, even my picky eater! I will be adding this to the dinner rotation.
I'm Mexican and I add soy sauce to my carbe asada marinade. I don't remember if I learned it from my parents or inlaws, I just know I've always done it this way.
Yo Sam & Max, so where I live this restaurant makes an amazing deep dish vodka penne rig pizza and itâs absolutely fantastic. Would love to see yours
I finally made this today and it was one of the most flavorful taco I ever had.
You changed my mind about you, especially after your remembered the garlic. I truly appreciate you sharing your talent and sharing your recipes.
Hey Sam, whatâs the âgrowâ in the pots in the background? đ
I grew up eating carne asada my Colombian grandfather would make and he actually uses soy sauce. So your all good keep doing you man.
This is my go to marinade for steak tacos, absolutely love it
Did it tonight. Didn't expect that flavor. It was awesome. Thanks
Just subscribed and then saw this!!!đ
Woooo nice timing Emily!!! Welcome to the channel đđ»
I just got home from grocery store and bought the ingredients for your carne asada steak. Canât wait, my husband loves carne asada.
@49er Faithfull so? it doesnt have to be traditional all the time
I made these tonight and they absolutely rocked, the avocado cream is off the charts!
That guacamole mix is the bomb! Amazing. Thanks for the share.

Great video, can't wait to try this recipe. Yum...đ
Sam, you're a fu### genius! My wife and I discovered your CZcams Channel at the beginning of the pandemic. Now we eat at least 3 of your recipes during the week, watch your channel more than we do Netflix! What I really like about you is that they are simple but so tasteful. No weird ingredients (ok sometimes but you offer an alternative :-D). Anyways, we love you man! Keep doing what you do... PS : I'm doing your Perfect Filet Mignon Steakhouse Dinner for our wedding anniversary tomorrow... can't wait to taste it!!!
Y'all were so busy with the steak I forgot we were making tacos đđ€Ł
Seriously delicious!! We have made them twice already!! You are amazing!
Your reaction after trying the Avocado sauce is priceless. I stopped the video right there to go make the sauce.
That is so funny because I was going to comment about â where is the garlic? â on the marinade.
Joe you're more on top of it than I am đ€·đ»ââïž
Haha! This is why I came to the comment section! So I take it he realizes it...havenât gotten there yet. Watching now!
You need a shirt of Sam wiping his face with the whole paper towel role.
Did this up tonight for supper! Couldn't have ended off 2022 with a better meal!
