Hey Don who did you go through to get your headliner, it came out really nice is there any other companies that you would recommend or do you like that one right there. I have a 60 Ford 4 by 4 and that's about one of the last things I got to do to mine.

Thanks Dale. 10 months now and it still looks good. Purchased this REM brand headliner kit from collectorsautosuplyinc (username) on eBay. Still available there now, $194 shipped. Fabric was extra, but looked good as the basic white surface, too. Bought that vintage Ford fabric on eBay, too.

I'll probably watch this video a dozen more times. I'm gonna buy some of the insulation at home depot and make my own headliner. Thanks Don

@@DonWSquared do you think the preformed liners are strong enough to support 4 stereo speakers? Once I get my 59 F100 running, I would like to install a Jensen radio with an under dash kit in it. My truck doesn't have a factory radio. My late dad bought it new and stripped with only a dealer installed heater. Turn signals were mandatory in California. I won't be drilling holes for the antenna; I have an inside mount windshield antenna ready for the truck when I install the radio. The stereo is set up to have front and rear speakers, so I will do a quad speaker setup without drilling the door panels.

Nice install. Could have used a spray bottle with soapy water to lube that rear rubber preventing snags and tearing for anyone doing this install as well.

Thanks, couple years since I posted that episode and I'm still plugging away at the resto. Check out my later episodes... Might even get to paint this year (I hope!).

Thanks for this really informative video.
I cut my driving teeth a long time ago in a 59 Ford 3 ton on our grain farm.
Currently finishing up a hot rod 1935 Ford pickup.
You’re really ingenious with the use of a paint can lid tool...something I won’t soon forget. And the ammonia mix spray 👍🏼👍🏼

Looks good! After a few years, is the adhesive still holding it up?

I have a 59 and my question is how do I know if I need a 4 piece headliner or a 3 piece? And I'm looking up my parts in a LMC Truck parts, is there other places I can order my parts? Thanks Richard
