Scrubbing Bubbles bathroom cleaner is surprisingly gentle and works very well on vinyl.
So sorry to hear about your loss, Jeff.
We'll try that Maxey. He was a great man, I will miss him horribly.
I am sorry for your loss. My condolences to his family and yours.
Love the quote at the end, a friend of mine came to mind makes me appreciate him more. sorry for your loss even now as time has passed im sure it's easier but the void is still there. God bless
May God bless you as well. Yes, I miss David, he was a great friend.
RIP David Thompson. Sorry for your loss. Great vid series thanks for putting this out.
Again thanks for the install vid I'm gonna be doing this next summer. Sorry for your loss brother, your in my prayers
Jeff....you know I needed this!! 😂✊ thank you!! Love watching your vids! We gonna get along just dandy 👌😁
Jeff, You should get yourself a Hotsy & a bit of "Magic Soap" in about 10 seconds per side you would be amazed. Seeing the magazine covers on wall reminds me My '70 Cyclone Spoiler was on cover of one of the first ones.
God Bless you BOTH!
Another goodun..Love you Bro.
Good tips, as always. The trim around my headliner is chrome ('72 Ranger). I used some 0000 steel wool & it made the little rust spots disappear. I can't wait to add some heat shield & sound deadener. Sorry to hear about your friend. You're in my thoughts and prayers.
Love your videos. Learned so much. What I am wondering is if it is possible to use an abs plastic sheet to make a headliner for 67 mustang. With shipping the one pieces from npd is almost 800.
Any help would be great.
Thank you, Uncle Jeff.
You are welcome hon.
That headliner looks great! Sorry to hear about your friend.
Sorry for your loss, Jeff. I think most of us know how it feels. It's pretty bad.
Sorry for your loss.
Yeah that one still messes with me even today.
I am sorry for your loss.
My condolences Jeff take care
Condolences Jeff. Peace to all.
good vid
i have a 1972 ford f100 i gat same car wash to clean my inteior it woks good as dawn
If you use shark skin it will seal the metal and keep the metal from rusting again
The headliner I received came with a Velcro strip. I’m assuming it should go down the middle and attach the center of the headliner to the support brace to help it from drooping. Did you do this as well?
There wasn't a Velcro strip on ours but they may have changed the headliner since then.
Condolences. Tough to lose a friend...
My condolences Jeff...May his soul rest in peace... As for the video I have a question. If the ABS plastic reacts to heat and becomes soft when the car left to direct sunlight with windows closed, wouldn't the headliner sag down by the heat created inside the cabin? Shouldn't be glued directly to the roof then support it with the trim?....
No, no glue, the headliner is designed to float to a degree. It won't go super soft, only accept a "roll" in a change of temperature.
Can I just use thin sheet of wood wondering because those headliners are not cheap and it already has old wooden headliners in
use this: www.lowes.com/pd/47-75-in-x-7-98-ft-Smooth-Brown-Wall-Panel/3014304 That is essentially the same product as Ford used.
@@AutoRestoMod thanks so much showing what I needed
My condolences.
you didnt use the spring clips?
Mine were missing.
I would have laid down a wet tee shirt and then used a clothing iron on low heat to relax the sheet of abs.
Good plan! I might try that when I go back in (Had to remove it for paint recently).
oven cleaner is my friend less alumina brass copper everything elks ill squirt it on God bless you n prayers in Jesus name for your loss
hahaha i really know how that feels 2:30 min
Perhaps one of the most frustrating headliner installs I've ever done lol.
I am sorry for your loss.
