I just bought a nice 3 ring binder at a thrift shop and was trying to figure out how to work with it. You gave me great ideas! I also had a bunch of Ideals and full calendar pages that I hated to tear up and fold into a standard journal... so this solves two problems for me! Who ever is dissing your videos needs a ton of prayer because you and all the others who take the time to do this and teach and show, are blessings! I too, will pray for their hurting hearts! I know it's 4 years later, but the page you showed around 9:06 really solved a problem for me. I'm making a smaller journal as a gift and had some quotes that I really wanted to include for the occasion. However, they would have taken up a lot of real estate on a page. Since I'm including photos, I'm already losing some space. How easy to print the quotes and attach them to strips of paper, placed in a little pocket! Problem solved. I just finished decorating them with washi tape and little jewels. I strengthened them by using floral card stock on the back. They look great! Plus, they add interactivity to the journal, because you have to take them out of the pocket. Thanks! (the things you see at 2 a.m.) 😄

I found it beautiful and you made me know it wasn't so hard to do a junk journal. I mean this is the easier way for me as I can put more In it! Variety. I also loved your voice and sound was good and you took your time. It bothers me when so many keep mentioning time or looking at the clock and watches. I like to see a video that isn't rushed and yours wasn't, so I could see details. You just block the haters sweetie. They are the ones with the problem, not you!

So after hearing you had a bad comment, I got one yesterday on an old video of mine. It made my heart hurt. I just removed it and didn't answer, but I feel as you do, if they don't like it, don't watch, right? I click out of videos all the time, when there is something about them I don't care for. I also think YT should get rid of the thumbs down button. It serves no good purpose that I can see. I agree with you, a prayer for the wounded heart of an unkind person is the best we can do. I agree with your conversation, what ever happened to if you can't say anything nice say nothing at all? Try not to let them get you down I like your videos and I do have a question. I have been making a couple of journals in the 3 ring binders and I now need to decorate the covers but my question is what kind of adhesive to use to cover these binders they are made of plastic so does Modgepodge work? Any chance there's a tutorial some where about this? Thanks and keep up the good work you have inspired me to try making them and to break out of my crafting comfort zone and I'm really enjoying it.
Love it! I've been trying to find something like this for my next trip...I want to be able to add items each day such as maps, brochures, menus, business cards, photos after I get home...any suggestions on covers?
You could actually decoupage the cover with maps of the areas that you visit!

Hey, this is six years later, but just started on junk journals bac in the fall but have been gathering supplies for a year or so. Anyway, is the binder you are using just a regular binder like you find in an office supply store and Walmart...like a school binder? I think ring-binders are my favorite way to go. Thanks.
Hey friend! That's okay, I will always answer. You can use one of those, but they're difficult to cover. I generally go to thrift stores and find ring bound garden books or cook books that have a hard cover. Those are much easier to cover and I like their size better. I love ring binders! tfw
