Thanks to Matthew Shaw for letting me video his model. Great job Matthew.
Nice video! Each mechanism deserves its own video with an application .You can make a Meccano Mechanism video library / playlist!
It's certainly a possibility. I'm enjoying exploring the mechanisms in my own models.
Nice video. Good to you see you back in action!
Thanks.
That is a nice build.
Yes, Matthew made a good job of getting it all running smoothly. I know from experience how fiddly that can be.
Кайф.
That's a Nice Model !
Are there regular Meccano fairs in England?
Yes, there are plenty. There is the main one in Skegness once a year, but there are about 10 regional societies which all hold meetings a couple of times a year. I'm a member of the 2 societies nearest to me, Sheffield Meccano Guild and North Eastern Meccano Society, so I go to about 4 meetings a year through them and then the main one in Skegness.
Great videos and very educational. I'm new to Meccano. I've just purchased a very sorry looking for itself vintage scratch built Meccano showman traction engine. It's actually radio controlled with vintage looking RC technology. There's no transmitter to test the model and the power source is RC batteries which look old built into the trailer. Any ideas where I can get the old girl serviced and tested? I'm Birmingham based. Keep posting your fabulous videos. Kind regards. Mark
Thank you Mark, you're very kind. I'm afraid I have no knowledge whatsoever about RC systems, particularly old stuff. Good luck.
