The guy stopped on the tracks had room to reverse, what was he thinking??? Ego too big to admit he fucked up?
My only guess is that he thought he should pull up to the barrier 😶
I'm thinking he got fixated on the other rails and didn't notice he was also on rails.
My guess is too panicked to think to put the car in reverse.
I'm leaning toward he had absolutely no idea he was on the tracks as well. Double tracks are extremely dangerous because people don't seem to realize there are TWO of them.
@@TheSkittlesmcgee yeah my thought was they were on their phone and unintentionally rolling forward while waiting for the train to go by.
First clip was a treat. Thr space between those vehicles was hairs length.
They're so lucky lol.
I thought contact was made lol
that train hit was insane
That is a car, not a train.
@@anderstermansen130the train hit the car, einstein.
2:38 how can you be this oblivious 😭
so many things he could have done, I dont even feel bad for him now.

Advice for new driver at 7:00 - Always assume people are going to do last second lane changes when approaching exits or splits. Don't try and get some speed just because your lane is open and the one next to you is backed up. Whether to get to their correct exit or even just to bypass traffic, someone will inevitably jump out in front of you.
I always assume the other driver is going to commit Vehicular Jackassery, especially at exits, entrances, and splits. I've seen too many near-misses to take it for granted that a lane-jumper won't be right next to me.
My favorite part is that there a new driver, didn’t assume anything at all that could happen but damn do they know how to use that horn already :)
Why does nobody keep on right?
I like how there is no voice over and we can hear the original audio!
3:08 - The driver really emphasised that "Woah!", didn't he? 🤣
Kind of reminds me of Dr Cox (Scrubs TV Show) going through the different ways of saying "no".
@@bobemanuelson9902 Cox, while the guy who submitted that clip is called E. Rex Sean lol
@6:27 Also didn't mention cammer is going 49MPH in a 35Mph zone.
8:34 - thanks to the cammer giving the location of this near miss, I checked it out on Google Maps and the speed limit is 35 mph there. The cammer was driving 49 mph AND going through a busy intersection at that speed. I usually see the left-turning cars as the problem as they don't have the right-of-way, but in this case it was probably near impossible for the left-turner to determine that the cammer was so far above the speed limit. The cammer says "thankfully I was paying attention." Yes, paying attention is great, but driving through a busy intersection at 15 mph over the limit isn't so great.
I go up to 40 over very rarely in rural areas but I don't get mad if someone cuts me off while I do that, I would just take fault.
Your time stamp isn't accurate since 8:33 is the end of the video. The timestamp should be 6:25.
0:55 honking just to be a clown I see
That porsche lost it's front spring without losing the shock, thats crazy.
Definitely lost the shock, there's no way for the spring to come off intact without at least one of the mounts for the shock also coming off. Unless you count the shock only being mounted on one end as "not losing" it 😁
@@AKDubs06Well, it's still technically on the car as opposed to on the road
2:24 there’s a reason why you don’t stop on train tracks
What's the reason???
@@TheLast-One don’t be ridiculous you know why
@luccacerminaro8003 the guy in the video clearly didn't
@@TheLast-One I'm guessing they were more concerned about the safety stop arm than the train itself. Massive misconception of the greater threat....😂🙃
@@Normandy1944 Double (or more) train crossings can be confusing to people who only know about single crossings. People generally only know how a single crossing works, where the stop arm drops on both sides of the crossing. At a double (or more) crossing, there could be an arm that drops at each side of each track OR there could be just an arm that just drops 1 at each end of the crossing. Looking at the video, there were 2 tracks with an "island" or road running in the middle between the tracks. The driver thought he'd make it to the island or road in the middle and missed, which is how he got trapped. Why he did it is a mystery we'd never know.
I live near 6:35 Manchester Lakes BLVD, and the driver who nearly hit the person turning left was SPEEDING well above the 35 mile limit. This area is extremely congested with traffic lights on almost every block. I am happy that is was a near miss this time. BOTH drivers need to be very aware of traffic flow in the area! BOTH are at fault; however, cam car’s speed greatly contributed to their near miss!
You never disappoint! Excellent job! 😀
Watching these stress me the fuck out and scares me more when driving but I watch them anyways. Love the videos ❤️
* anyway
They give me anxiety too but maybe that's a good thing, all things considered. Complacency is the enemy of safety.
Every time I see someone fooling around doing donuts, I remember a good friend and colleague who was visiting the family home in Detroit and went to the store for milk. He died when someone doing donuts lost control and slammed into his door. What a stupid waste.
honestly a lot of these people just don't have anywhere to get it out of their systems with track being shut down and the ones that are still open are expensive and require modifications just to enter creating a situation where it's just cheaper and easier to do it on the streets. you can thank idiots that move next to a track only complain about the noise until it gets shut down.
@@doommmmmmm Aw the poor wittle babies can’t drive fast
@@MatecaCorp they are going to do it anyways would you rather them doi it on the streets or in a place designed to drive fast? Just going full ad hominem wont fix anything.
They should at least find an empty parking lot (preferably that isn't near a main road) to minimize the risks , preferably with permission from whoever owns the lot.
@@fractalgem unfortunately due to liability and complaints from busybodies permission wont be a thing.
i actually have a lot of driving anxiety so videos like these help desensitize me to my fears to cope better!! So ty!
Gotta love the guy in the 2nd clip 😂
Love the vids❤
Love and appreciate all of your hard work! People truly can’t drive! 🤦♀️
I figured the winter storm that came through this weekend would make for some Idiots In Cars moments lol.
I had a similar experience as the first clip on Saturday before they were able to pave the roads! It's a heart attack and a half but it put me in my place and I kept it slow the rest of the drive.
Oh im sure we'll see more yet, they just haven't had a good chance to be submitted and have been checked and added yet
2:39 Honestly, that’s what he/she gets
You know, I wish there was a word used to address a person who you don't know, whether singular or multiple, it would make things so much easier than typing he/she out every time huh? I guess they'll never make a word for that.
@@PyxeledGenesis Yeah it kinda upsets me that they haven't figured that out in the English language. It's barbaric.
"Stay safe on the road! Drive responsibly, folks.
So many of these incidents are about young "cammers" learning how to YIELD.
Kids; just because YOU think that YOU have the RIGHT of way does NOT mean that YOU don't have to YIELD!
Or just keep getting into as many accidents as it takes to finally LEARN this!
Fun fact: the law doesn't give the right of way to anyone. It specifies who must yield the right of way in specific scenarios. What people seem to be unaware of is that every driver is legally required to yield the right of way in order to avoid an accident or dangerous situation. So, if someone fails to properly yield, and you then choose not to yield to them, the accident can be found to be your fault.
Wait... You mean I can't deputize myself as *Defender of the Lane* if someone tries to cut in front of me? 😆@@eli-bt4he
The people I see fucking up yield signs are always old motherfuckers.
I don't usually have more than a couple quick things to say, but this compilation in particular was a pretty good one...
2:29 I understand freezing up in fear, but that was seriously about half a minute to be able to figure something out. All the time in the world
2:48 You *drive* us wild, we'll *drive* ya crazy
3:32 The single prop I'll give this driver is dodging the wall. But yeah, report drunk drivers when you can... my whole family was in the van when I was a kid about 20 years back and my dad was on the phone with police reporting everything as it happened. Guy was drifting on a major highway, then he turned into a Target parking lot and plowed through a stop sign... seriously, he actually drove over a stop sign and knocked it down.
7:30 Read out the license plate number so you have a recording of it and call 911. Anyone "driving" like that is as bad as a drunk driver.
Train wreck - darwin awards.
Never ever stop on train tracks
How do you not see a train coming and back the F up?
Probably froze in panic. Some people just shut down in high stress situations like that.
The double crossing can be confusing. I'm not sure on the details of the incident, but it wouldn't be unreasonable to think the person thought the gates and signals were for the other tracks and didn't even look at the tracks they're on.
If only there was a way to avoid that train. It's like it came right out of nowhere.
6:19 Gotta admit took me a while to notice that's the median curb.
A tough lesson that I have learned is that you leave your car at home for New Year's or even better, just stay home altogether. Car totaled 4 months after buying it.
What a save made by the first driver!
Ik his heart was beating 😂
4:24 music kicks in at perfect time.
1:17 whatever he's listening to sounds like the announcements of two point hospital/college
This will be good in a couple days with the winter storm.
People at 5:09 got good taste in music 🔥
The cameras with rain on the lense at night stress me out so much omg
0:56 the “dipshit” honk 🤣🤣
5:59 More like fear of proper merging. Which is why they couldnt be bothered to check before hand.
In this Video at the 2:44 mark -
I LOVE THE TRAIN CLIP !!! 😂😂😂
6:20 from the bump at the back, can tell she has 0 awareness of her surroundings
4:20 Do bad drivers buy a Prius? Or does driving a Prius make them a bad driver?
Yes, Keep posting these type of videos & very soon?, I may never drive again….
I swear it's like some people don't have anything better to do, so they let an accident happen. Some of these could easily be avoided with a little defensive driving.
4:03 I would tell people to just not drink. Once you're drunk, your judgment goes out the window. Telling somebody to not drive when they're wasted is well-meaning but probably useless advice. You may as well tell somebody to not say nonsensical things when they're drugged up after getting their wisdom teeth removed.
It's wild that we rely on people who have been drinking to use their judgement on if they are okay to drive.
I've been wasted before and yet still knew not to drive.
@@superexoticshrub I'm glad you still had that presence of mind. Unfortunately, that's not true of everyone. I'll give you one example. At my 10-year high school reunion, one of my former classmates got wasted on Jack and Coke. He insisted that he was okay to drive home, and it took a constable showing up to finally convince him to take a ride home with a sober person.
@@InJeffable and I would suggest that it's not alcohol making him unreasonable. It's his own innate personality.
Give people alternatives to driving and they’re far less likely to do it while drunk. Drunk driving will remain a huge problem so as long as driving is basically the only way to get anywhere for most people in this country.
The last two cammers weren't paying attention.
4:46 How is it even legal to have brick walls that close to the road blocking the view?
It's only illegal when someone notices. (The walls could also have been in place before the sign went up, I guess.)
Would put a 3 way stop sign there tbh
That last rage car episode almost looked like delaware
7:05 that new driver was pretty fortunate they didn't cause a crash. Clearly people were wanting to merge. Gotta be aware. Hopefully this was a learning lesson.
EDIT: I'm also not sure how they were so quick on the horn. Either they saw it all coming and were ready on the horn, or the horn simply distracted them from actually maneuvering the vehicle. When things are moving fast the horn should not be a consideration.
0:17 WAHT A SAVE! WAHT A SAVE! WAHT A SAVE!
6:20 ??? What's wrong? Are they parked as in "parked and went into the store" or did they do something else stupid and that's where their car wound up?
The car is stuck because they drove over something youre not supposed to do
@@Re69. I couldn't see anything under it but a puddle. Thanks for the explanation, I went back and rewatched it and saw what you're talking about.

That guy on the tracks wasn’t paying attention to just drive forward. It looked like there was room. Or he wasn’t paying attention

Backing up for trains is always the right thing to do.
even if you have abs STILL pump the brakes it works better then abs

5:04 - What caused that truck to flip over? No one knows.
I have NO idea... looked up and saw the truck starting to flip. did see a car dart off the exit just next to the truck, might've been a overcorrection trying to avoid the car?
Truck was coming down the on ramp...likely too fast, load shifts and over it goes.
I was trying to make a sly reference to the song being played ("No One Knows" by Queens of the Stone Age) but I see that I was being *too* sly.
So at 3:40ish, do we know why the cammer was stopped at that intersection? Don't think he had a stop sign, just the other directions, and I didn't see any cars in his way
Right after the impact, you can see the fourth stop sign. It's a 4-way stop.

hi
6:43 What is that restaurant?
Only in Canada (but not BC for some reason).
2:35 - definitely someone who thinks the election was rigged and that trains can stop instantly.
Todays a good day. I have someone who thinks i owe them 35k. For a car accident. Two god dam years ago.
A lot of these drivers are asking for it. If you’re not willing to stop for an idiot who fails to yield to you even if you’re in the right, then you get what’s coming to you. It’s a pride issue really
1:12 people can be so petty over nothing
That, to me is one of the more scary things on the road. It's completely shutting off the logic in your brain for emotions.
pumping brakes in 2024?
In the last clip, the cammer was still the idiot for assuming that the other car was going to yield. In the vast majority of cases, he would have been required to yield to traffic turning right. A good driver would be prepared for the vehicle turning right not to yield.
That ukraine car was an antique D:
3:56 why did I think of Peter Griffin 😂

Almost last.
0:05 that would have never happened with manual gearbox. Engine braking is the king.
Every automatic I have had that wouldn't of happened ethier since I could downshift all of them.
@@michaelarkell5437 true, but people who drive automatics usually treat the car like carting - throtle and brake
If the tires were at the edge of their traction - which they no doubt were - what benefit would engine braking provide?
@@nthgth The inertia of the vehicle has to go somewhere, and engine braking provides another outlet for the energy. By downshifting you take some of the vehicle's inertia and disperse it through the engine/drivetrain.
You'll notice your RPM go up without pressing the gas, which can't happen without a source of energy. In this case, the energy comes from the vehicle's inertia, which is energy transfer that would otherwise be needed from the friction between your tires and the road.
first?
Last.
I have a question for every loser who thought to buy a Corolla, or a Prius C. What’s with you guys and your rear bumpers? They always have the obligatory corner bash.
The Venn diagram of people who need incredibly cheap and reliable cars and those who don't take care of their vehicles is strong.
@@ThereAreNoHandlesLeftThe Venn diagram of people who choose the cheapest vehicles because they literally would be homeless otherwise and of people who *can't fucking afford* maintenance is a circle. The culprit is a combination of the lack of public transit and fetishization of country living.
for 7:31 just let bro have his fun. If you ever encounter a car doing donuts stay out of it they'll stop eventually
