this video is also pretty late lol, my schedule is just doomed rn lmao. anyway building on the perinheri book video from yesterday that came in genshin impact patch 4.5 that talks about the curse of the wilderness and the price for betraying the gods. its interesting given it implies worship is kinda mandatory if your already worshipping, but if its thats the case then how are all the archons comfortable with this? Venti, Zhongli, Ei and Nahida either dont know the entire situation. ( raiden shogun doesnt and prolly nahida) but the other two should know. But if they do know then just makes venti and zhongli more sus then before, but ig it was either them or you. anyway can some explain alrecchino gameplay leaks to me, i saw the set got leaked, but still dont get her gameplay, build or what the bond of life stuff is lol. i just pull cause alrecchino hot, and figure it out later ig.
Chapters:
0:00 Intro
0:32 "Gods of teyvat"
1:45 Perinheri and Curse of wilderness problems
4:20 How does the curse work?
5:00 Nahida and other gods

That's the thing: the book is written based on Khaenri'ah-an folklore and belief. And you know they will always blame the gods for stuff such as turning into hillchurls or making a hole in which abyssal stuff ended up flooding into their place.
tbf while the people from khaenriah, do typically hate the gods, their information regarding them tends to be spot on.
@@DawitsLookingforEmiliaI think there could be two possibilities such as -1st one u need to have will which rival that of god or 2nd the one who put this curse on people is in coma.
LMAO THAT ARCHON CLOWNERY MONTAGE. That was amazing. And that incredibly enthusiastic Primordial One, a progenitor god hailing from beyond the stars mention. The first few minutes of this video might be the best first few minutes of any video you’ve ever made. Good job

@@DawitsLookingforEmiliaYou’re welcome. I’m nearly done the video at the time of writing this and “THE BASTARD CRACKHEAD DRAGON KING THAT WAS NIBELUNG” with that music and was amazing and the sequence that followed was even better. aww ily
Shiruyeh is mentioned I can confirm 5 times I think
thanks social noodle can always count on u to tell us how many times shiruyeh was said in a vid. ur especially talented at that
The way he said Shiruyeh in such a goofy way got me dead
Enkanomiya: it is my belief now that when Orobashi took her people up and out, she created something akin to a mini irminsul (roots of which we can still find all over Watatsumi's walls. How did she get the seed? well Enka had ample of those pearls)
This was a problem, but the Shades and the rest of the gods were going to ignore them (seeing that they're busy with fighting each other). But then Orobashi failed to replicate the part where "she turned her skin and blood into land from which the people could live off", and the people started asking to colonize the island next door.
So yeah, Orobashi had no choice but to.. accept her punishment that was always dued when she fled, anyway. So she asked Makoto (and I would assume Istaroth, as well) to spare her people.
They readapted the worship ever since then, even if the heart of the Watatsumi people... well they're still salty to this day.
ps.: and ofc Ei knew shit, since her job was practically being Kujou Sara. The executioner knows not the true sin of the people they cut the heads off.
bro tossed in the most random ei shot i have ever seen lmfao i am crying
Orobashi is male, stop calling him "she"
Off topic but when i am reading through the lore of neuvillete in official genshin impact wiki i find something interesting- “ if i had a chance i like to tell king nebulog that he was wrong about “ them" .
id imagine "them" are humanity. nibelung hated everything that wasent a dragon
@@DawitsLookingforEmilia i have a feeling that Neuvillete might have to help MC put down the Dragon King for his atrocities against humanity and dragon kind alike.

Okay, who's gonna make a "THE PRIMORDIAL ONE...! A progenitor god... HAILING from beyond THE STARS." video.
This has got to be the best one yet LOL
LMAO
Nibelung part: it depends, no? I mean: the curse of being a god is to love humanity. and I'm under the impression that the one we call "Primordial One" are actually a collection of those 3 descenders "their bodies turn into materials to make Tevyat, in literal sense." (most recent parallel Chiori SQ1, there have been lots)
and considering dragons and vishaps are racists (reason Focalor had to.. slowly adapt Neuvi into humanity, I would assume Venti had to befriend Dvalin, same way Zhongli), being a part of the creator god itself sounds like the worst punishment Nibelung could have had lol.
To be fair Dragons & Vishaps have a whole lot of reasons to despise the Usurper and anything related to them...
It's so funny though, I remember there was a whole passage somewhere (maybe during the Three Realm Gateway event?) that at some point Vishaps (Bathismal ones at least) have literally evolved blindness so they won't have to see humans any longer... Don't remember whether it's actually true or was just a tale, but it's still hilarious
I guess the Havria thing not turning her people into hillichurls was because it could be interpreted as a merciful "deletion". They offed her because they loved her, they wanted to save her from d-wording in war.
The Nahida one could be because they never forsook their faith in the God Of Wisdom. They were still loyal to the concept of the deity, so they still kept their human forms.
As you said in the video, they escaped hillichurl-fication by mere technicalities. It makes me think that maybe the curse of wilderness is a punishment for "genshin atheism". What I mean by this is that perhaps the technicality is the genshin equivalent of "atheist" vs "non-religious but still believes in a higher spiritual existence". The first one turns you into a hillichurl, the second one doesn't. Or else every person in Teyvat has to be a nun to avoid getting cursed, because people like Kazuha exist, and he didn't get smitten by lightning.
Using Kazuha as an example, he hated the Shogun's decisions, possibly hated her for some time, but he never denied her archonhood or forsake her as Inazuma's, and by association, his, god.
Oh I also loved the 0:50 jumpscare, my god
these are all good points. thanks
The people of Enkanomiya returned to the surface only after they welcomed Orobashi as a new god. And to this day, most of the Watatsumi people maintains their faith. So maybe they “regain” the god-worshipper status? If you think about Old Mondstadt, It seems fine to forsake one god(Decarabian) and start worshipping another god(Barbatos).
Yeah, maybe to be cursed you have to become atheist. If you believe in any god, you are safe
i like this answer, this could be right
I agree, if this theory is true then it could explain why Havria's people never became Hilichurls, they simply changed their faith from her to Morax.
Another interesting question is - where did all these many gods who lived before the Archon war came from?
It is also unclear where seelies, adeptais, youkai, kitsunes, illuminated beasts and all other supernatural beings came from.
Well they're certainly the "children/creation" of Phanes, like Humanity. It's like in many mythologies, the Creator make a cast of superbeing (like Angels) for assist him and later guide humains. Seelies in Genshin were the angels who guide humains before Celestia cut the communication (Chenyu Vale, Tsurumi island, Dragonspine lore) and cursed the Seelies or some of them. For the Adepti we know that a humain can follow a special training to become an Adepti like Shenhe or the new disciple of Xianyun and his grandmother. So it's possible for Humanity to ascend to divinity, but there must be price in exchange like with Vision, maybe bigger, if not all humans would follow that route. 🤔
@@capriciaelcid4743 Shenhe does not belong to adepti. She is a well trained person with vision but still human. Only illuminated beasts and gods can be adepti.
Therefore it is still unclear from where they came.
From Genshin wiki
The adepti (Chinese: 仙 Xiān), singular adeptus, are a group in Liyue that consists of both illuminated beasts and gods. Most of them are bound by a contract to protect Liyue from demons and evil gods[1] and are led by the Prime of Adepti, Rex Lapis himself.
@@ForbiddenKnowledgeGI even if Shenhe is not a complete Adepti, no normal human eat only flowers like she did when we meet her, she still has received the training of Cloud-Retainer. Ganyu and Yanfei too have Vision and they're is adepti by birthright. That two things are not related. It's not so unclear now with the quest of Xianyun. Some beasts and humans follow the teaching with an adepti to become one themselves. And those Adepti like Xianyun were teaching by Zhongli, the Progenitor of Adepti. It's like the Sennin in chinese mythology. The real question is : where come from that knowledge in first place and why Zhongli did it? Because the Millelithes were most powerful (apparently) than today in the ancient times. So why he needed Adepti?
The title of "Adeptus" or "Illuminated beast" seems to belong mostly to intelligent animals (such as most youkai) who trained a lot. It seems that Rex Lapis is the one who introduced that training regimen to them.
Fujin from the tea region is antsy about being called an adeptus, because she did not follow the training regimen, or perhaps flunked the final exam.
It is not clear where intelligent animals come from, but there seems to be a natural process that creates them. Perhaps, reincarnation of humans or dragons? With some species, like kitsune or tanuki, being more likely to be targeted by it. At least, there doesn't seem to be a race of intelligent herons that Cloud Retainer and 2 others come from - it seems they're just randomly born among normal birds, like Vision-holders are born among humans.
Seelie seem to have existed before Second Who Came's arrival. And so did Rex Lapis.
I think proper gods, starting from the Primordial One, are similar to oceanids, in that they can split themselves up to create more of themselves. And so, Primordial One created Four Shades, and each Shade, in turn, created more gods, until they finally had enough personnel to handle the massive terraforming project they had in front of them.
It is quite possible that by the time Second Who Came arrived, there was no more Primordial One, but just many shards of the primordial, with "Phanes" just being their leader.
It is not clear where Seelie are in this. Maybe they were just really small gods. Or maybe they were something else entirely. Or maybe they are the same as pure-blood Kaenri'ans, but they can no longer live on the surface. But I'd like to think that they are related to Vishaps. Because Seelie are so adaptable that they turn themselves into fire so that they can heat up humans on the cold Dragonspine.
@Paulbadman617 ill explore this topic sometime this week. its an interesting fs
This whole Hillichurl thing has got to be the most Bizarre and Inconsistent part of Genshin’s Lore.
tbf, were stilling missing a piece of the puzzle
@@DawitsLookingforEmilia if only a reproducible way of reversing Hillichurlification was discovered we could find out more about the conditions that cause Hillichurlification.
@@EthHawke94 I meant maybe not quite the same but we have Caribert and Caterpillar.
Personally I am bagging on a theory about this having to do with the Seelie ancestor and the Outlander as well as the law that Nabu Malikata says about Seelie, not being allowed to fall in love with humans. 🤔
7:12 Mother of all lightbulb moments! What if... Not all Khaenri'an's were created by the PO, what if the ones that were, are the ones that become hilichurls are the ones that stepped outside Celestia's orders, the 7. Those that abandoned the 7 to join whatever the Khaenri'an's are, are not resistant like the Khaenri'an's and so when they meet with forbidden knowledge and are awakened to true death (that's, I think how the Aranara described it.) and perhaps that's why they become cursed with the wilderness.. it's either that or when they meet with the divine nails they become "cleansed" and cursed with the wilderness.. Nah, I am sticking with the latter because the nails don't seem to reverse the curse, only remove Forbidden Knowledge.. Anyway, I don't think that Teyvat's humans are real or the same as Khaenri'an's or the unified civilisations humans..
Ah now that’s what I call an ending, bravo dawit; You’ve done well.
:D
I would assume that the sages never got the curse of the wilderness because they never followed Nahida at heart and the tree could not change that feeling

That ONLAP part was beyond godlike😊
oh ya?
Miko invited me! 🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣
that line is her specialty. itll come back soon, i bet my continent
on the note of Havria, her people killed his but there is a thing : she harbored no resentment towards them. Maybe that's what happened with Nahida, because after all, they didn't forsake the idea of their God : pursuing wisdom. I think it has more to do with forsaking you're god's Ideal maybe ?
Also I never questioned the fact that the Archon war was a way for Celestia to shrinken the pool of gods, in my logic it was to pick those who would go above and beyond for humanity, which was explained within Zhongli's and the Adepti's lore (they didn't wish to fight, but their fear for human lives to be lost was the main driver for their frenzy) and the reason behind the raise of Venti to Godhood (in that context, Venti's current people also forsake their God and placed their fate in another one for the name of Freedom I think this is why the God of ''hope'' became powerful enough to overthrow Decarabian).
i mean sure, but is a god expected to know every person who forsakes them, much less resent them?

lmfao u think different

Dottore ❤❤❤
Edit: yes, it was because they never lost their faith in Rhukkadevata. Buer/Nahida is someone else (like Egeria and Furina/Makoto and Ei), we don't know her demon name. And her people did not accept her as a worthy replacement for Rhukkadevata since she didn't do anything exceptional. They go over this in Sumeru AQ.
The sages loved Rhukkadevata, and wanted her back. The artificial god was supposed to basically be her equal, they were in fact operating under a twisted kind of devotion for Rhukkadevata, who was always beloved in Sumeru, hence the "Greater Lord."
i really cant wait to see ur reaction when dottore becomes relevant to the plot again
Dawit, do you think Khaenri'ah could have fallen not just because Celestia punished them, and the betrayers were cursed, but because a number of pure bloods were turned too after turning to the twins as their new Gods against Celestia?
I think it could be a cool twist, especially if the traveler is completely unaware this took place.
could be all of the above ya, khaenriah didnt fall for one specific reason, theres a whole host of them, and im sure well find out more of them in the future
7:50 Rhinedottir might also have connections to the Crimson Dynasty that ruled Khaenriah before the Eclipse Dynasty took over, from Perinheri. If this were to be true, that'd make her >>OLD
MY NEXT VID IS ABOUT THIS. yes shes old af
took her that long to make a real human bruhhh
You know most people don't seem to have a very high opinion of Nibelung which is to be expected since it was under his leadership that the dragons lost twice to Celestia, but we could for a moment try to understand him, Teyvat as whole is the home of the dragons, the very place where they came into being and lived, it belonged to them before Phanes arrived and took it from them, imagine someone arriving in your house and kicking you out forcefully and then that someone drives out the rest of your family by beating and killing them and snatching all they have and then put some random race you have never heard about everywhere in your house, and now that random race is everywhere in your house, eating the food grown from your lands, drinking the water from your rivers, and cutting down and cultivating your forests, and all you can do is cower in random caves all the while watching them enjoy everything that belongs to you while you can do nothing about it, and everyone just randomly expects you to like them and preach about peaceful coexistence after brutally conquering everything you own and when you say no and dislike them they call you racist, it's sort of understandable why most of the old dragons hate humanity, for them we as the creations of the Usurper-King are also invaders 😅.
i mean sure, but part of the problem with nibelung was he introduced teyvat to forbidden knowledge and "the power of darkness" which were still dealing with today
@@DawitsLookingforEmilia That's why I said his actions are understandable but not truly justified anymore due to the forbidden knowledge he introduced, he could have chosen to acquire power by other safer means that didn't damage Teyvat as a whole in his grudge match against Phanes, I do understand that he was desperate at that point for vengeance and anything that could give it to him was justified and if he had kept the collateral damage only to the Primordial One and his forces that would indeed be the case but that's not what happened, his actions resulted in Teyvat nearly collapsing, endangering every Teyvatian lifeform including dragons, gods, and humans, at that point he became a threat to the very world he had a duty as king to protect.
The main reason imo is those who forsook their god's accepted Abyss and destruction like Ukke and probably others as well this curse might be the result of people doing things that can harm the surface world which is mainly built for humans and gods to reside
celestia cursing them to evolve into different things of past makes sense
Cuz in genshin most important creatures seelies are hinted to be evolved backwards and are but a husks of pasts
And the curse is probably a warning to not be accepting abyssal gifts because it may sound nice at 1st it's just corruption filled with hate and malice and when you come to your senses it's all too late
yes, seelies went from being (probably) divine envoys, to the sad state they are in rn, due to the heavens. its interesting huh
@@DawitsLookingforEmilia Yeah which is why i think the current ruler of the world probably isn't phanes but someone else who judges based on their actions unlike phanes and shades who loved humans either way and still provided gifts
Neuvi also touches on this saying the world of now is filled with filthy feathers
@@osmial neuvillettes voicelines imply the feathers are from the primordial one (usurper king) to add on to ur point however, jakob tells us a pheasent sits on the throne, which is a bird.
important to note the primordial one, is said to have wings, which could be the reason for the bird references
@@DawitsLookingforEmiliaohh that's an interesting POV thanks for that
But wouldn't it make more sense for phanes to not be available in teyvat as the whole game implies he isn't anymore
We even have a line saying
"The creator has yet to arrive"
And ascension for travelers is becoming a bigger thing each passing region
What are your thoughts on this?
@@DawitsLookingforEmilia ohh that's interesting insight also makes sense since he see's them as invaders
But wouldn't it make more sense to phanes to not be available anymore because we know throughout the story celestia isn't doing anything for some reason even when the abyssal beings are running rampant
We even know the line which says
"The creator has yet to arrive"
Which probably put more emphasis on his absence and ascension becoming a much bigger thing each passing region
What's your thoughts on this
5:41 they were on too much rukkedevada copium.
actually tho
I think when Anegelica states "Betrayed their gods" I think she means letting go of their general belief and faith in gods, and that ultimately means not bending to the fate of the world no? Fate that Celestia had created for humans? The grand "plan" which was ruined when the secon war started?
Plus, Think about it! There were many odd elemental gods! A god of stove?! God of salt really?... Then remember how after the Second War, the Primodial one's "functions were ruined and they cannot suppress the Vengeful powers" of the old world and had to use the "THIRD DESCENDER'S" remains to *Create* a form if *NEW LAWS and ORDER* by culling out every element except until only seven remains?!... And also remember thay only and *ONLY* AFTER the Archon War and after the seven took thsir seats did Visions appeared to humans allowing them to utilise the elements of the world ..
What I'm saying is when archon wars happen, many humans had to see their gods get slaughter by other gods and they had to submit to the new gods, or at least they should have some sort of "Faith" in them.. remember *Faith* is a form of power to Gods.. perhaps faith is what grants them vision in the first place..
But as for Khaenri'ans.. they never really had Gods nor did they had faith to begun with, *But* those who left their Gods, abandon their faith and took side with the Khaenri'ans... Were the *only* people who became Hillichurls..
This reminds me of some old fable! That during days of old, god would punish humans by turning them into animals everytime they do something wrong.. or do something that would anger the god. This Curse of Wilderness sounds awfully familiar....ngl..
well said
I'll never say god bless celestia
I'd just say i prefer to see a celestial nail coming to the player, we hit it back hard enough to make it turn 180 and a few moments later celestia falls from the skies.
Sounds wonderful😌
You seem to have missed the most blatant betrayal with no repercussions:
The people of Old Mondstadt have literally betrayed and Killed their God Decarabian, raising Barbatos as their new God, and faced no punishment for it whatsoever.
And while with the sages you can say something along the lines of "They never betrayed their belief in the God of Wisdom, they just changed who the God of Wisdom was for them", same thing can't be said for Mondstadt because the Anemo Archon wasn't established as the God of Freedom yet, it was still the Archon War
yes, there are many questions surrounding this entire concept. maybe the fact that andrius was aiding in the rebellion helped, but idk
Damn I'm early lets go! But really making me question the archons....aint gonna change that venti and furina are my fav archons aint gonna change
ur devoted, that makes us similar.
Loving the Primordial One favoritism
I HERALD ONLY TRUTH, NOT FAVORITISM
I mean, i can see where youre coming from regarding Nahida's and Rukka's situation but i think, since the sages never really abandoned the God of Wisdom, they can't be cursed. In Hleo's family case like you said one day they just said fuck this no more god i aint contributing shit and devoting anymo, maybe that's the reason. Though the sages actions are a betrayal to Nahida, it's not a betrayal to the God of Wisdom since they still believed in that god so god damn much. They never really acknowledged Nahida so it can't really be that they betrayed her since they never even followed her in the beginning, sounds weird and confusing cause both Nahi and Rukka are the God of Wisdom but i guess theyre still two different beings and entities?? idk where im going with this
"Shiruyeh😏"
ahhhh i get it now, so whilst they forsook nahida they never gave up on the "god of wisdom" i got ya, ty.
I'll say. I always found it odd how for a nation of wisdom and knowledge, they sure were hellbent on the dogmatic idea of having a god to lead them and fix all their problems. If they had *truly* forsaken the gods, they would've gone full on Khaenri'ah-mode and said "fuck it, we don't need gods at all. We'll do it on our own." That in itself is a damning piece of evidence that they didn't betray the gods. They betrayed and abused and forsook Nahida, yes, but not the throne of the Dendro Archon.
@@readonlymemories That's because if you remembered near the end of 3.1 archon quest, one of the akademiya staff caught by us said that after the death of Rukhadevatta, research stagnated and the fact that they imprisoned Nahida for only being as smart as a regular human cemented that idea that they need a "true" god of wisdom and that human effort alone is not enough.
I might be huffing too much paint thinner but I always wondering if Teyvat obeys the law of conservation of energy.
What I mean is that for what ever reason the Gods existed, fought, and died they don't exactly leave Teyvat but appear in a new form
Maybe that form is that of vision holders, those with the potential to become Gods as Allogenes
Maybe thats why Danslief asked about which do the eyes of the gods find more important

@@kotarouinugami1745 maybe they were cursed by the Primordial One himself? I think the curse of "betray a God" goes most in the lines of "betray the belief in the gods" what I mean is that the enkonomiyans still belive in celestia and later on Orobashi, with decarabian people just change their believe on Barbatos, in Havrias case the people who survived still belibe in the celestial order and went with zhongli, same with Sumeru, they don't believe in Nahida but they believe in the God of wisdom and went for Scara
The point is that is not a betrayal if you still believe in the institution of what Gods represent
I don't know if I make sense my English is not enslishing xdxd
i get what ur saying. makes me think tho
The Curse of the Wilderness.
Is this the reason why Celestia lockup, Enkanomiyans, Khanreans and the likes underground
Because theyle turn to if they got out?
To me atleast it make sense cause the Enkanomiyans got a new God, Orabashi, that they still worship till this day, the Chasm also got one, that die without betrayal, the majority of Khanreans army are robots that were immune as intended. (The Khanreans are exception cause of the weight of their sin)
This means that the law itself is established after the War of Vengence.
Why Enkanomiyans can be affected by the curse itself even they were loyal to the PO and the Shades?
Because of the new world order of Celestia, of worshipping Gods.
Why this new order is established in the first place?
Cause the PO no longer fit to worship, Her Absolute Authority broken/eroded
Why the Shades can't be worship either?
Cause they have more important job to do, to facilitate the laws themselves.
What are the Gods job before the War of Vengence, they were just emissaries of the PO, the PO is the only TRUE God, to be worship.
How the laws works? Can the Shades interfer with it, can Istaroth do something about it
The Laws when set in stone by the PO were impossible to change, only if you have the same authority as the PO itself, the Shades, Istaroth and the Gods can't do anything about it.
The Gods themselve aswell have no choice but to be worship, and the humans to worship them.
Why Adeptus weren't affected by the laws itself?
Cause they weren't human at all.
Added.
Can you worship another God?
Yes if your God is dead.
Can you no longer worship any God.
Yes if you remain faithful to the last one until the end.
Can you pray to other Gods?
Yes, you can.
This means that the curse only works if you betrayed the Gods as a whole, you can worship another if you want, or stay faithful until the end, BUT outright betraying your God, no longer worship any God, thus betrayal to the Gods as whole.
Why your not affected the curse underground?
Cause the Abyss influence is stronger underground, and the Abyss is considered a place that the Gods gaze doesn't fall.
Is this intended by Istaroth for the Enkanoyans & possibly the Chasm People to go back at the surface?
Yes I think
i wanna point out istaroth was worshipped in mondstat alongside barbatos
@@DawitsLookingforEmilia Yes, sir Dawit, she is, ALONGSIDE with Barbatos.
Let me explained sir Dawit:
I think if Venti or any Anemo Archon/God is missing as their God/Archon being worship there, Istaroth can't do anything about it,
The scribe of Sal-vindagnr can be save by Istaroth long before he turn, BUT unable to,
Istaroth wasn't even enough for the Enkanoyans to be granted passage outside, Orabashi needs to come there bam, they were now allowed to go out, while Istaroth done what she can, and has other civilization to save, left them.(We know Istaroth try to save this civilizations)
Also if Istaroth can be worship like this Gods, she can be considered a participant in the Archon War, BUT the PO doesn't allow a Shade to participate, which she also avoided to, Istaroth definitely unable to save Mondstadt from Decarabian Storm, without Venti's manifestation/initiative, (Based on Cecilia flowers, Venti's action wasn't agreed on by Istaroth to)
this means Shades weren't allowed to participate the Archon War, nor interfer with it, even not counted as Gods to be worship, (this thing about being worship is the game name Archon War that allowed this simple emissaries of the PO, to be worship, the Shades weren't allowed as their OP as fuck, the God themselves weren't that glad to be worship, but desperate, even ruling seems inappropriate to them)
I think khanreans are different from other people. They probably weren't created by the PO, so the curse of the gods doesn't apply to them.
I have 3 versions of what they could be:
1. Primordial humans - they already existed before PO and lived together with dragons.
2. Descendants of dragons or Vishap people.
3. Descendants of god - I have a feeling that Khaenriah is somehow related to Deshred. This is indicated by Khaenriah's symbol Star of Ishtar, knowledge of forbidden knowledge and deep knowledge of technology and energy sources. Could it be that Deshred and Nabu Malikata were the child who founded Khaenriah? I do not know.
As for the hilichurls, perhaps they were Teyvat habitans before PO and were used as the starting material to create humans. At the time of creation, some genetic code or some other mechanism was installed in them so that only by worshiping the gods would they remain human. As soon as a person stops worshiping the gods, this mechanism stops working and they lose their human form.
As for the betrayal of gods, I think it is important to believe in the very concept of god. As in real life we have different religions and different names for gods. In real life, all atheists could turn into hilichurls xD
Fontain peole also was different from others. I suppose they couldnt turn in to hilichurls. Maybe they even stay as humans if stops to worship gods. This could be reason why Celestia was so mad on Egeria.
Interesting how it is now, when Nuvi turn them into real humans. Did they apply for curs or they are free from it because was created by dragon?

We have to wonder exactly what counts as worship and betrayal. What exactly is the real trigger for the curse.
Caribert was a child of a Khaen'riahn and a Monstadter, but he lived his life in Khaen'riah until fleeing during the Cataclysm. He probably never heard about Barbatos.
So it's something that's in people's blood, but... what exactly?
Then you bring up the stuff in Sumeru.
Maybe it has something to do with entering the Abyss while being connected to a god somehow.
The question is what counts. Perinheri had no problem. The Angelica witch had no problem.
Maybe it has something to do with being recorded in Irminsul as being a servant of a god or becoming an enemy of your own god?
Sidenote: I wonder if Angelica in this story... ends up being the Tsaritsa.
And maybe Perinheri is... Il Capitano.
Most likely, "betraying your own god" is a metaphor. As the video put it, there is no lack of betrayals in human-god relationships, and they rarely result in hilichurls.
its not just the person that "betrays" the god, its also there descendants, hence why caribert turned. if one person does it, whole family tree is fucked
@@DawitsLookingforEmilia - man, could you imagine one day just suddenly turning into a hilichurl 'cause your grandma decided to fuck off to Khaen'riah by herself?
Lmao the way u were saying Shiruyeh made me mad uuncomfortable 😭😭😂

Day without hearing about "THE PRIMORDIAL ONE A (...)" is day lost.....
WE START. AGAIN.
I mean the Archons used to be elemental beings that were forced to fight to survive and put under divine rule, less gods are easier to control
I think it’s because khanrihans are maybe Dragon kin?
hmmmm
Another thing though, La Signoria was around 500+ years old. She forsook Venti around the time Rostum died and when she became the Crimson Witch. How did she not turn into a Hillichurl? I’m assuming this happened a little after the Cataclysm. To explain the Nahida thing, well, Celestia has been dormant and silent for a while now, right? They haven’t taken action. But the Signoria one puzzles me.
did she forsake barbatos specifically? I understand she was angry but dont exactly remember what she did. i just remember she was roaming around before pierro found her. in anycase signora isnt exactly "human" so it could be that
I think the sages were not punished because they had a total faith in Greater Lord Rukkhadevata which is technically the same person 👀
Hoyo lore is literally a mix of true canon, fakes and half-truth, because they themselves don't know what to actually bring up in future archon quests
I felt a little more energy for THE PRIMORDIAL ONE, A PROGENITOR GOD HAILING FROM BEYOND THE STARS 📢📢📢 than usual in this one 🔥
:DDDDDDD
i believe the curse only takes affect after you leave teyvat and attempt to return, with the transformation happening upone arriving back to teyvat
what about ukko
@@DawitsLookingforEmiliawhos ukko??
I think the reason that the sages didnt become Hilichurls was because they never actually left Sumeru? IRC the only reason Perinheris friend only became a hilichurl was once he stepped outside the nation they were fleeing from did the curse take effect
well tbf he stepped from out the shadow into the light, at least thats how i look at it
@@DawitsLookingforEmilia I reread it and it says that it happened at the very moment they left the kingdoms borders and since Dain said that khaenrians were transformed into hilichurls during the cataclysm which would be a time where most of them were fleeing I think that is how the curse works. Nvm thought about it some more and LA Signora meets this and she's not a hilichurl
Nibelung cant be the 2nd One Who Came because in one of Neuviletes voiceline he says the Primo one and 2nd one worked together, unless Irminsul f*cked the data again.
the newest video I made is just for u cupcake :D
Maybe if they believe in *a* god at all times, then they will not turn into hilichurls. It might be that the only prerequisite for hilichurlification is completely abandoning the idea of worshiping a god at all.
And I can't help but think about the theory Ashikai talked about that most humans in Teyvat are part dragons, with only the khaenri'ahans being "true" humans, perhaps brought to Teyvat by the Primordial One. This could explain why Teyvat means "Ark" since Hoyo had a whole thing in Honkai Impact 3rd where there was an Ark made to transport all humans off of Earth in search of a new world in the event that they couldn't stop the Honkai disaster. In HI3, they end up never using the Ark I think, but I think they could be referencing that concept for sure, perhaps as a not so-subtle hint to us about the origin of humanity in Teyvat.
Tangent aside lol, maybe only the part-dragon humans have this inherent curse for whatever reason? Idk lmao
humans are part dragons? this sounds like it could be interesting
@@DawitsLookingforEmilia czcams.com/video/JWTQqI7tOd8/video.html
^Found the video! I misremembered, what she says is almost the opposite of how I remembered it lol! the theory still revolves around humans being dragons, but her theory is that all humans on Teyvat are essentially dragons in human form, with Khaenri'ahans still being the closest their draconic roots (albeit they've taken a human form), while all the rest of Teyvat is slowly getting further away from the draconic roots. I can't think of as clear a connection to why the rest of Teyvat is vulnerable to becoming hilichurls with this version of the theory lol, but it's still super interesting! highly recommend the video
Ave Celestia!... AND 🗣📢🔥THE PRIMORDIAL ONE, A PROGENITOR GOD HAILING FROM BEYOND THE STARS! 🗣📢🔥

The reason why the sages didn’t get cursed is because they never worshipped her in the first place.
How the hell does Kaeya fit into this?
He is obviously half-Khaenriahn or not?
the alberich family was a family of nobles in khaenriah. odds are hes full khaenriahn

I dont trust archons blindly, looking at nahida. I rather trust ei and furina (i know she is not archon but she is the hydro archon in my heart)
I think the sages had no faith in nahida to begin with so technically they didn't abandon her?

Are there sources that contradict one another? Why can we trust this book?
why can we trust any book? irminsul exists. fables tend to be the more accurate ones
Kiana will always be my goddess, human or not ;)

I guess this is why Venti says to Divalan the freedom when demanded to you by a god isn't really freedom at all because if he demanded his people to be free or free to choose and one gets caught hostage or something happens like during the last time he awakened those people would be immediately turned via the curse because "they broke their gods words" or something similar
ah this an interesting way to look at things
"After the heavens had their functions ruined, the PRIMORDIAL ONE and the one who came AFTER created the gnosis together". Most people think it was the Crack Head (Nibelung) or the second who came created the gnosis together with the primordial one, by created i mean kill the third descender together. But No After the war with the Second is when the third descender arrived. so the "one who came After" is most likely the third descender. because the second was already defeated long ago.
yea thats always been my interpretation, the swc was nibelung who fought the primordial one, then the third came along and sacrificed themselves to save the world. but its just a theory, and hoyo left the text ambiguous on purpose
Can't believe people still say: oh you play that weaboo anime game made for kids. Like bro, the game has nothing to do with its graphics. Ypu call this video a "video made about a anime game made for kids"?
