      Probably because of pacing. Deleted scenes are often quite good in their own right, but tend not to work so well when seen in the context of the scenes before and after them.

    Seeing Jake Lloyd, the actor for child Anakin, so happy and laughing when you know that the role pretty much ruined his life hits differently.
    The kid retired from acting because he was harassed and bullied like crazy thanks to the fact he played young Anakin. He's even now been confirmed to suffer from schizophrenia

      Film tech has gone beyond blue and green screens. They now have curved holographic screens (that's not what it's called, but I can't remember the actual terminology). They used it in The Mandalorian.

      There is. Multiple times.
      Off the top of my head I can recall a droid saying "oh my god" in Rebels, and a clone trooper saying "oh my god" in Clone Wars.
      C-3po states the Ewoks consider him "some sort of god" in the films.
      Count dooku calls a planet "godforsaken" in Clone Wars.
      In Empire strikes back, Han Solo says "then I'll see you in hell"
      ... plenty more but those are just some.
      So yeah, they could have kept the soup line. :P

      All the examples I told you (In movies = Canon, btw) are probably referring to some sort of Star wars god.
      Using you argument, no characters in Star wars should speak English, since they're in a galaxy far far away.

      also i know movies=canon, that’s why this rando talking about Clone Wars this & that is just nonsense. sure, han solo talks about hell but the concept of a “bad” afterlife is pretty much entirely universal amongst humans since death is an absolute we all must face.

    I love the prequels so much! Even the bloopers are great. The original series is very Greek hero storytelling stuff, but the prequels are Shakespeare.

    1:34 That should have made it into the movie. It would have broken up the robotic dialogue and given some humanisation and humour to the scene. That is what we all loved about the originals.....

      I think that Jar Jar was played by a guy in a special suit, and he acted all this out on set, they just replaced him with model of Jar jar for the bloopers
