Hayden Christensen made some poor movie choices which sort of derailed his career but the rest of the major characters were all quite successful afterwards. Natalie Portman, Ewan McGregor, Samuel L Jackson, Liam Neeson, Rey Park, Temuera Morrison. All had great success afterwards in cinema. Ian McDiarmid and Christopher Lee were already very well established actors before hand. Most of the other characters were portrayed by secondary/extras or were cameo appearances from other celebrities.

I mean, surely the alcohol does play some part in the relaxed vibe of this show... as do so many other things, carefully planned by a big team of experienced TV professionals. But many people like the OP insist on making it about the "intelligence" of the people on camera. People on chatshows can never just be funny nowadays, they have to be witty, or sharp, or something else that flouts their intelligence. I'm sick of watching chatshow clips on CZcams for a bit of casual enjoyment, and then seeing them talked up as if the simple art of conversation has to be a boxing match between the host and his guests, constantly sizing up one another's emotional IQ.
He’s the best talk show host of this generation. Globally. Maybe even if all time. He’s such a naturally perfect personality for it.
The fact Harrison waited for the exact moment the music lined up for his line in Empire was gold. Even though he hates Star Wars he clearly still remembers it fondly.
He doesn’t necessarily hate Star Wars. He just doesn’t like it being viewed as the only good thing he’s ever done

Any interview with Mark Hamill is special. I remember watching Star Wars in the theater and everyone was blown away. We hadn't seen anything like it before. Not even close.

The great thing about this show is that it is only "generally" scripted -- room is left for certain "improvisations" that are often priceless. Many thanks to all those who put this together so wonderfully well.
