- I think it’s valuable to know where you stand with different qualification courses around the world. I think it’s also good to know what’s expected of the people who carry a gun professionally.

Pure gold!
Gonna do this with a 10mm 1911 just to flex on the FBI
This! 🏆
You did great! When you redo it, you'll ace that first element.
Always great to get new ideas for training!
Qualification courses are not challenging by design. They are an administrative function, a way for the Administrators to show that their people are “trained”. If you make them difficult, people will fail. If people fail, who will go to work?
There are probably exceptions to this, but I have not found any. The Air Marshal qual is pretty good, but not hard to achieve with some regular practice.
When I first joined the army our test was harder. Basically further and you changed positions.
Instead of "reprised", i believe the word you were looking for is "revised".
subscribed because of the lord's caliber 545 comment
Nice groupings! I'd like to see how you would do without the red dot. Never used red dot myself so am curious of how much difference it would make. Thanks for great video!
FBI Qual. Take 2 - Training Tuesday
czcams.com/video/rL3Bc6yqlo4/video.html
I have the deck of cards but have not done this one yet.
I've shot the FBI PQC at Quantico for several years with another agency. It's definitely a challenging course, but I always passed. I will say that having a red dot sight is a bit of a cheat that makes it much easier..lol. This course is different than the one I shot 20-25 years ago. We started at the 25-yard line and shot prone. Then ran from the 25 to the 15-yard line.
A conceal,Ed option would be interesting.
The goal is to pass it Cold 100% I did it felt nice decent skills test normally I’ll throw one or two but on good day I’m 100%
Good qual and many consider it the standard for concealed carriers. When scoring, each round above par time counts as a miss. Looks like you finished it at 98%. Agents must qual at 80% minimum and FBI instructors at least 90%.
Does it specify if you can use a dot or irons only?
You can use whatever you want
Where I find this drills index cards?
Check the description for a link
You know this country has gone to hell when even the Amish have started carrying guns.
Do the agents use red dots on duty? Seems dangerous to use a red dot as a crutch if they do.
Do you think red dots on rifles are a crutch?
I do not know if the FBI authorizes optical sights for their agents but many police departments do so. They are not a crutch, they are a useful tool.
Now do it with hot 10mm! 😂
Not an impressive qualification standard imo.
I agree
I'll have to try it, but it seems like the times are meant for it to be shot from concealment.
@@fattigla Without any doubt! The qualification rules state that it must be shot from a concealment garment.
As I remember, the FBI PQC that I shot at Quantico was tougher than this. I remember shooting prone at 25 yards, but that was over 20 years ago. We even had to run from the 25-yard line to the 15-yard line. Looks like the course has gotten a little easier.
