Thanks Dominick
Great setup bro
Thank you. I am quite proud of it.
The tanks on your trailer rig, do u have a video that explains what sizes they are & where to purchase them, i enjoy watching all your videos i can definitely tell you have lots of knowledge in the power wash field
I do not have a video on tanks specifically. You can purchase them from us. We can ship them.
Very interesting
Thanks
Yes Sir
I'm very interested in using an air compressor instead of 12v
@@mikekillian3063 it will change your life.
On the water air separator, you can turn the red switch left straight down and to the right. What are the settings or positions of the switch?
I'm also not getting but about 22 to 25 ft of reach as well.
Would I get better distance if I unrolled all the hose?
I ran and plumbed everything like your videos show.
Thank you for all the help
Left turns the air supply that powers the pump off, straight down turns it on. Yes unrolling all the hose will help a little. But make sure the PSI on the gauge with the knob is set to about 95. sounds like it's not getting enough psi. The pump is rated for 100PSI so keep it at about 95.
Thank you Sir
Thanks for the information mister I’m trying to figure out A little bit of everything when it comes to pressure washing/soft washing and you guys been helping a lot it will be good to have your information just in case I am available to get one of those trailers from you thank you again
Glad to help
Hey Doug, do you go through more SH using a 10gpm setup vs something like a 5.5gpm 12v system? Or does the additional gpm allow you to cover the same area faster with the same amount of chemicals?
Really about the same but more distance and way less issues. I use 2gpm & 4gpm tips and rarely ever flood coat a surface.
Ready rrr
Can you use one of the General Pump wash down guns with this system or will there not be enough flow?
I ordered a kingslinger with the compressor just a few days ago. Is it going to come with that extension on the left Camlok to clear the handles like you said is helpful?
Yes. That’s standard now.
I really thinking on pulling the trigger on this set up, my 12V have cost me like $400 already in replacing the pumps. Do you usually have this in stock?
You will absolutely love it over the 12 V. Yes we normally have them in stock right now we have been selling a ton of them so sometimes we get a little behind if we’re out of a few of the components but we get them pretty quick. Turnaround is usually anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks
Would the air pump you recommend also run a 2nd set up if we wanted to expand?
Not running both pumps at same time on one compressor if that’s what your wanting to do. I’d suggest a second compressor for that.
Is that two everflo pumps hooked together, and how often do the wear out hooked through this system? Is this the way to change over from 12 volt system!
2 flo jet pumps hooked together. Yes a great option versus 12v
The soft wash pressure washer if I had the Quitman already
I’m not understanding your question.
Doug, thanks for your videos. I’m simple minded. Why do you need a compressor? Please exsplain.
Because the pump is powered by the air from the compressor. All pumps need something to power the pump. 12v=12v battery. Booster pump=electric. Gas powered=gas engine. This one is the air powered by the compressor. Hope that helps.
Doug great video. Check the 10:58 mark of the video. Small typo there. Loved the video and step by step
Thank you so much for this build video.
Question, would you use this setup for softwash if your budget for a trailer was $10,000?
Absolutely. I would and I do
@@PressureCleaningSch Then build it I will. Should I go 8gpm cold or a 4gpm hot pressure washing machine you think? Maybe buy the hot and put on an 8gpm pump?
SUPER Appreciate the haste response!!
Edit: Im getting my membership ASAP and cant wait to watch the vids!!
Do you make the Kingslinger for a 24v pump?
No. The kingslinger is a gas operated only. 24v is battery operated
Hey Doug Great video! This is purely an academic question but how many of those pumps could you run together?
Would all depend on the compressor you use and if it can push the pumps. For this compressor you'd not want to run more than the one 10GPM pump

Mr. Doug, I have a 12 volt soft wash system. I get about 4 or 5 good hours out of it, then it seems as if battery gets week. Brand new battery, so i was running an extension cord from house to battery charger on battery. Even got extra battery! Would the king slinger help the soft wash system run longer, or does it get week to! Not sure if its battery issue or pump just getting to hot! Could you help with problem!
Yes the kingslinger runs on gas. But your battery should be lasting longer than that.
Would the king slinger give more distance?
@@user-hq1nv5rf3n not sure what distance your getting now but you’ll get 35-40 feet depending on wind
This is the first time I've seen a soft wash system powered by an air compressor. Any reason why to pick this over your general gas or electric pumps?
Generally they are more reliable and can stand up to the strong bleach mix longer if taken care of properly
Doug, am I wrong or wasn't that air compressor $650ish a month ago at Northern Tool? It is over $800 now. Is that how bad inflation has gotten? I'm having to rethink my pricing strategies. I noticed a snow blower at Lowes was $899 that I paid $599 for the equivalent a few years ago.
You are correct. When I first started selling them they were $549. I guess I made them popular. Lol. But yes inflation, supply chain all has to do with it.
Do you recommend a filter.
Yes. And It comes with a water/air filter
hey doug how much for the system already built. i need help
By the the time you get tanks plumbing compressor and all around 2500$. E-mail me at info@dougruckerstore.com if you’d like more info
hey can this work with any air compressor?
Yea as long as you get 90psi
Doug, have you done a video on why you prefer the air system over the 12 volt system ? If not, could you please ? Or.... just shoot me a reply with the answer. Thanks !!
Pretty sure I've mentioned before in videos. But in short after using 12V, Gas operated, and Boosters, and all a few different times, I have found the AIR to be the most dependable, versatile, and easiest to use maintain and repair/replace.

how long can we expect this pump to last if properly flushed?
I change mine every 12-14 months because I usually change them before they fail. Could probably go longer
Would this work inside a cargo van?
Yes. We’ve installed a few in vans and enclosed trailers
I use carpet cleaning machine pumps with 240v electric motor running off an inverter and 300ah lithium battery. The pump set up is shaker than yours and probably better and a bit cheaper and longer lasting
This system works on air pressure?
Is there any reason why you could not use an electric air compressor?
I think you said this unit had a 4 gallon air tanks. If the motor stopped how long would you still have enough air pressure to spray with?
Thank you in advance.
Seriously considering purchasing this from you.
To the last question less than a minute or two. As to the first question the air compressor must supply 5 scfm @ 90 psi
Hey Doug - I’m just starting out learning about pressure washing and soft washing equipment.
I am still confused on softwash systems. What I am confused on is this, do you have to have a fresh water tank ? Couldn’t you just have a garden hose feeding the soft wash compressor ?
No it has to be fed off tank. You can’t force force feed them.
@@PressureCleaningSch thank you Doug.
One more question if you don’t mind.
Is your tank being replenished by a water hose as you spray or once the tank is empty then you fill it again and mix in your chemicals ?
@@wf2651 it’s continually being fed water. A float valve inside the tank shuts the water off if it gets full.
@@PressureCleaningSch so if the tank is continually fed water how do you keep your mix from getting diluted ? Is that because there is 2 separate tanks build into the 1 tank ? 1 for water and 1 for mixture ?
@@wf2651 yes. Two tanks. One water. One bleach
Awesome video. How much does that plate cost
I don’t sell just the plate
I'm talking about the whole plate with the pumps.
@@geraldborne94 ahh sorry about that. Here’s the link w the options to choose.

Hey Doug I sent an email after you told me to, in order for you to share information about mixing ratios for downstreaming. I’m sure you’re really busy but just wanted to ask if you received the email? Thanks for all your help
No. Haven’t seen it. pressurecleaningschool@gmail.com

@@PressureCleaningSch just sent it, hope you get it
How the air compressor works with soft was station?
It supplies the power to the pump
Thank you for replying, but that system it is not comun right also can yo upload a video how does work?
@@erickvaliente8158 there are several videos in here about how works
Hey Doug! how many people are usually at your 1 day monthy classes and where are they located?
Hey Jackson. Usually have anywhere from 3-7. The most I try to take are 8 but have had 10 a few times. www.pressurecleaningschool.com/events/
If 2 of the 5GPMs stacked together makes 10gpm, why can’t ya stack 3 and make it a 15gpm? This may be a dumb question. But I don’t know. So just thought I’d ask.
Can this be used as an everyday system?
Yes absolutely
@@PressureCleaningSch well while I have you in here, I bought your higher pressure ball valve complete set up, and yes it is hard to turn. BUT, if I buy the DN10 heavy duty ball valve, can I remove the inlet and outlet from the other valve and place them on the DN10?
@@meezer616 yes. They are both 3/8 ball valves. Try taking the handle off the high pressure one and lubricate at the base of the stem. Should help.
How much is this
$1349.00 but does not include compressor, hoses or other items you may need. www.dougruckerstore.com/products/kingslinger-soft-wash-mixing-station
Any red hats?
No red hats. Sorry.
Doug, you are the man your finance team oked me for $20,000 I will be contacting you to get started on all my equipment. this is a big jump for me thanks a lot
Sounds great. Email me at info@dougruckerstore.com when your ready. Look forward to hearing from you.
Hey Mr. Doug what is the difference between the king slinger 5 gpm or 10 GPM i’m just starting out can I do a lot of work with the 5 gallons per minute
Mainly the flow rate and you’ll get a little bit more distance w the 10 over the 5. And yes you can do quite a bit of work w the 5. If you can go w the 10 though it’d be better. While we do sell quite a few if the 5’s most upgrade to the 10 within a year. And it is real easy swap them out.
