    If you mix your bleach in the bucket as you want it applied, how is that mix not being diluted with the water from the pressure washer which is siphoning it through the X Jet valve?

      1) get away? Yes. But not the ideal way. I would never use it for roof cleaning. 2)The high volume wash down gun, Im assuming your talking about the red and blue guns that are all the rage now, I would not use one mainly cause of the weight of if it and I can get close to same volume using ball valve or 0060 nozzle. And you’d need a flow actuated unloader vs pressure. I only use pressure actuated. But either way I just don’t see the need to use one.

    I might have heard wrong but the batch mix percentages that you were talking about only apply if the bleach is 100%, not the typical 12.5%.
    While we’re on the topic, when using a proportioner, when you want a 50/50 (6.25% sh) mix and you water is wide open with the same size piping and valve as the water, if your water is at 5gpm do you want your sh at 5gpm too or are they both at 2.5 gpm for a combined 5gpm in the outlet pipe?

    • @PressureCleaningSch
      @PressureCleaningSch  Před 3 lety

      If it’s a 100 gallon tank and I mix 70 water 30 of bleach then it’s a 30% mix. 30% of tank is bleach. I don’t really care if it’s 10% or 12 1/2% to me it’s a 30% mix that’s why I go off of.

    Pardon my ignorance but, why does a dedicated pump perform better for bleach mix than the pump and injector on a pressure washer? I’m unclear why the pressure washing setup can’t do what a dedicated pump does.
    If a dedicated pump is better because of not using a downstream injector, then why not just use your pressure washer as a dedicated pump?
    I mean essentially, isn’t a pressure washer sucking water and pumping it out the other end? Can’t you just suck out of a batch mix with it and pump it out the other end?

    • @PressureCleaningSch

      A dedicated pump simply allows you draw or use a stronger mix ratio than what downstreaming can achieve.
