- Lupe Technology asked me if I wanted to try their brand new Pure Cordless vacuum cleaner, so naturally I said yes, as I like to show new cleaning technology on my channel as well as vintage vacuum cleaners.
In this video I unbox and briefly demonstrate the machine on carpet and hard floor and give you my first impressions. Another video will follow in a while after I have used the machine around my home so I can give you my impartial thoughts on the cleaner.
For more details and to purchase the Lupe Pure Cordless, click on the link below which will take you to their website. You can also check out the Pure Cordless via the social media links below.

Finished watching now, thanks for showing the filter, amazement here too! Wonder what happens if you tip the machine up when it's on? Although by the looks of it you wouldn't in normal use anyway. Seemed quite loud and high pitched though... But vibrated that carpet well!
That is truly amazing. It solves typical stick vac problem where the weight is in your hand. Lupe puts the weight to the floor.
Onboard hose, filtration, bin size and cleaning performance seems to be the best what I have seen. + it has strong visual agitation. I have never seen so good agitation from a cordless vacuum.
That's why I've never got a cordless, can't deal with it being top heavy but as you say this is built like a normal upright, looks well made
Yeah, but its £700, and whats worse, its made in China. I'd rather get a Vorwerk if I was going to be spending that kind of money on a vacuum, and Vorwerks are not made in China either.
Too expensive for me!
@@stevejones1972 Sadly almost all cordless vacuums are made in China nowadays. Price of these higher end models is also outstanding.
I think Roger would do a good job of making official instructional videos.
yes
That’s quite impressive, seems well built and some original thought has gone into its manufacture.
Shall I get Marjorie to order one online for you Mrs Fforbes? I'm sure Brabinger can pop a message round...
Dale Who That would be excellent Mr Who! Would you ask her to have it delivered directly to Grantleigh Manor please, as I don’t trust Brabimger with the Rolls!
Just got one of these and they’re amazing! It’s so powerful!
"Hot off the presses" nice to see your in the Lupe 😏
Hello ibaisaic...good to see you pushing on
A question, if I may. As you're about to show us what's in the bin on the cleaner (18:36 on the video), it looks like the bin handle is covered in flour. Was that the case, or is the handle transparent as with the bin and I'm actually seeing inside the dust chamber, please?
Very impressive and aesthetically pleasing. But with a £699 price tag consumers are being asked to pay a lot for the modern convenience of a cordless machine!
you have to be a bit of a lupe to buy one 🤪
It’s £200 off right now
I wouldnt pay £700 for a hoover it maybe good but I prefer my gtec k9 which my mum and dad brought me for my birthday
You are my favourite, go-to, reviewer for vacuums. Good job.
Ibasiac video in the morning 😃
An unbiased video, so well done on another job well done. I must say having watched quite a few when you talk about cleaning filters and leaving them to dry you say 'upto 24 hours', what I think you mean to say is 'a minimum of 24 hours'. Other than that faultless.
This is an excellent review, thanks! I look forward to future versions. I know this is nit-picky, but the hose doesn't fit into the slot in front, and as the hose gets worn in it'll get sloppier. I imagine it slapping around as I vacuum. Just the visual of the hose not being in the slot picks at me. The feet on the removable motor are a great idea, but look like an afterthought. Also, they gotta work on the pitch of the motor. It's an audio representation of the hose slot. I shook my head like an etch-a-sketch to loose the sound from my ear. I'm sure they'll get it, the designers are clever. For the premium price I'd expect a work of art. I'm hoping for a minimalist docking station for tool storage and so I don't have a cord hanging off the wall when the vacuum isn't home. I appreciate the removable battery, and hope that shape is compatible with future models. Running lights are a must. And a black version. The black on the handle is nice, just do more of that. IDK, if you're going to be 4x the price of a refurbished Shark ION P50 and perform only moderately better your design better tell my guests I have taste. (Let's at least pretend) Anyway, it looks amazing and I'm looking forward to v2.0.
I am very impress by the performance and suction for a battery vacuum wooow
That shirt though!!! Love it!
Nice video Roger, Is it worth £700 ? Not for me. Rather buy a bagged Miele or Sebo for that money.
Can't wait to see what Roger thinks of this. Unfortunately, I don't have a time machine, so I'll have to. It's clearly got some flaws, not least the price (£699) but if it gives more than 20 mins of corded level performance, it could be a game changer.
Great demonstration ! I'm waiting for your "daily use" video to confirm that it is a super vacuum cleaner
Received today. Hmm. It's not all positive like this video makes out. In terms of raw suction it's very good. However there are a number of annoyances not least dirt getting stuck up at the top of the bin that won't come out! Storing the thing is also difficult. No folding or wall hanging. Converting to handheld is a faff although when done it's quite productive.
The cyclone unit comes out to release any trapped dirt. I show it in my next video on this cleaner.
I spent the money on this. Feel duped. Clearance on head to high. Pushes debris on wood and tile to edge. Anaemic on anything but high. Actually takes longer on mid and low covering areas repeatedly than getting the corded cylinder vac out.
Return it for a refund.
Backed this on Kickstarter, waiting patiently for its arrival this is the first real test I've seen. Looks promising although edge cleaning looked a bit iffy.
Also it looks a faff to convert to handheld mode, the shark is good in that respect. Also no mini motor head is a shame, especially at £700!
I really love your videos!! 😃 that vacuum cleaner looks like a robot!! Keep up your effort in your videos! :)
Where do they sell these
Seems to combine the best of Dyson (multi-cyclonic) with Shark (Ergonomics and dual-roller head) - I wonder if they are heading for some patent issues?
I was wondering the same thing
Looks nice
Roger will be taking this with him on holidays with all the adaptors
I'm impressed! It looked a bit Vorwerk-ish. Only downside would be the noise and the price
Can you compare it to a cordless shark
I'm seeing a list price of +/- £460 ...but a lot of on offer discounts. Designed by a former Dyson employee it says. Humm. It looks cheap, but obviously does a surprisingly good job. Lovely to have options.
Hi, I am waiting for the full review...when, oh when... :-)
I think if they make a second version it should have an electric hose so they can make an electric brush for above floors.
Wow that looks different
I love your videos
Really impressive machine and rather sexy looking. Lol Very nice to see some innovation in the design area; seems like many vacuums especially cordless look so similar. I believe Lupe was founded by former Dyson engineers so that would probably explain why it has some DC cues. Seems as though Lupe will bring this machine to North America soon based on the fact it comes supplied with the US plug adapter. Not sure how well it do over here given the fact that looks like it will carry a high price tag.
After having a Dyson V6 & V10, Shark Duo Clean and currently have the Shark Anti hair wrap, i still find myself hunting for a Better Machine? Could this be it? I don't know. Most expensive of them all so far but does the machine make up for the Price Tag?. Not sure. 1st you need both hands to operate for above floor cleaning, previous models I've had are all handheld. 2nd it's quite noisy compared to its rivals? (Could be me) 3rd, Car Cleaning. It seems a bit cumbersome for cleaning the car giving that you have to usually get in your car when vacuuming - again both hands are used. 4th how does it handle hair on the brush roll? The girls in my house have long hair and it's always been a issue hence going for the Shark Anti hair wrap. does the Lupe deal with hair in the same way? Finally, for the price I would have like to seen a seperate powered Tool similar to shark and Dyson. Lupe @ £699 but lacking some of the features of its cheaper rivals?
Whats the oldest cordless vacuum out there all i can think of is the dustbusters that took 8 hours to charge and lasted 15 mins🤣
I have seen 1940s Hoover Senior type vacuum cleaners on ebay with friction motors [might be another name for them]
as back then many homes didn't have electric
@@macraghnaill3553 what are they push along ? What about the first battery cordless vacuum
@@thepurdychannel8866 the motor worked by being pushed back and forth.
they look the same as a normal upright vacuum cleaner but don't use electricity .
which I guess makes them the first cordless vacuum cleaner.
@@macraghnaill3553 i got a floor sweeper thats like that i will tell you the name when i get it out next
Oooh the agitation!😍😍😍 I'm not sure how this machine is even a thing because surely shark wouldn't allow the dual brush rolls?👀
It looks different enough that it shouldn’t infringe on any patents for DuoClean, I would think.
interesting and helpful review. pity machine is so loud.
This vacuum gives me vorwerk vibes looks really nice
That really looks like it beats as it sweeps as it cleans
That looks so cool
Reminds me of a vorwerk ? is that how its spell
Anybody old enough to remember "Rosie", the vacuum, from The Jetsons?
It looks like a very high quality product. Throughout the video I wondered if it was made by Vorwerk but I looked into the background of the product and it’s a newly “Kickstarted” company. Very nice
Lupe has been in business since 2015.
Do you like this better than the Miele Cordless?
No.
@@ibaisaic thank you
This got in the way of Numatic week you should've uploaded this after or before Numatic week
It was in addition to Numatic week. Some people don't want to see just Numatic cleaners and I may post another video this week featuring a different make, but Numatic videos will be posted every day at 7pm this week.
@@ibaisaic I'm surprised you actually replied to my comment can you reply to my comment on your yellow Hetty video
I love this vacuum, but I love the voice more. 🤣👍
It looks like vorwerk vacuum but bagless and cordless
You can see a good amount of Dyson engineering
Two of the company’s founders were Dyson engineers.
Ive heard of that vacuum
You Are Totally Correct It Is A Multi Cyclone
The edge cleaning didn’t look to clever , been considering the Triflex , Lupe sounded very loud also , will await your next video on it to make my choice
I had a couple of friends round last week who were interested in the Triflex so I showed them that and the Shark cordless lift away. They ended up ordering the Shark that same day. I wouldn’t recommend the Triflex at the price it sells for.
ibaisaic thankyou, I have the Miele powerline cat and dog c3 which is brilliant, wanting something cordless for ease and quick pick up of my very moulty beagle , have the Gtech stock ( rubbish) just watched your review on the goblin , thought maybe be ok as only for use on hard floors, but reviews on Asda are quite bad, don’t like Dyson, have you any recommendations?
That high pitch sounds like a circular saw running through a thick board
Haha Luke is a funny brand name
Yeah at 700 shipped I don't think so
abi motoru çıkarır mısın
cumaya kadar acil abi
You had got nice pair of socks.
Does this machine sound as terrible IRL as it does on video?
No, I have one and even on its highest setting it’s relatively ( certainly compared to another cordless I tried and a mains Dyson) quiet.
The sound is awful. That and the price would put me off. For £700 I’d be going for the Tri-flex.
Hey pls can I have a shoutout pls love you vids
Great numbers and performance but not even the smallest light. Which means that I won't ever use it unless someone I know buys it and lets me use it, with a flashlight light or maybe one of those lights you wear on your head. What a shame.
Oh my god Lupe has copied shark too much with the duo clean and that lift away kinda
Im 3rd
Main fault that noise!! Jesus
The sound of it sounds a little harsh to the ears.
Annoyingly loud irritating sound!
What is the decibel noise score? From the sound, I’d say NO for me. 👎🏻
£700??? For something they didn't even bother to produce in the UK, but rather, in China, from a company no-one has heard of, and for a mediocre product that looks cumbersome, has pretty old fashioned separation and filtration. Dear oh dear. Never in a million years would I pay that much for anything thats made in China, meaning it will be shoddy made and highly likely fall apart just after the 2 year guarantee ends and 100 quid dearer than Dyson's top of the line V11. Sorry but when you can pay £300 - £400 for a top of the line German made Sebo or Miele, this pitiful excuse for a vacuum is nowhere near worth £700. Sorry to be harsh, but China is not exactly flavour of the month these days, and to produce that machine there when you are supposed to be a UK company is not going to gel. If Numatic can stick to production in the Uk and charge less than £200 for pretty much all of their domestic lineup, then I think Lupe have a downright cheek to ask £700 for a Chinese built battery vacuum.
I agree with you
Totally agree. I'd stick with the good old Felix, it may be corded but it will probably outlive me 🤣
Isn't this the company who was started by ex dyson engineers who just ripped off dyson motor technology and put it in there own machine. Dyson needs so sue them for patent infringement.
