Man I used to have 35% on my windshield and ended up getting stopped for it in Fl. I guess my tint was more dangerous than a guy flying down at 95 mph 🤦🏽♂️

Nice! I’ve been contemplating tinting my windshield too but had the same thoughts about dealing with the cops. But that 55% is clean and perfect. So I guess the removed your registration sticker and then stuck it back after they tinted it? I don’t think you’d have an issue with cops in the city but might be more of an issue once you start going through the smaller suburb cities where they ain’t nothing else better to do than look for every little thing. I’m cool with all the officers in my small town, so I could probably get away with it. 😝
Yep that’s exactly what they did. They sprayed it with some type of spray that won’t cause the tint to be damaged once those stickers have to be replaced. I think with 55% you can get away waiting for the most part. Honestly just depends on where you live and how the cops are

If you live in texas you can go as dark as you want in the rear windows. The front windows and windshield can be as low as 25%. I wouldnt have been worried about doing the 55% windshield tint
Texas is 25% so you good bro! I have 35% which still allows me to see pretty good at night and it’s still dark enough you have get close up to see who’s behind the wheel.
On the windshield? Thought it was illegal to have anything on there

In my area we are not allowed to put tint on the windshield.. you can get a ticket even with 70% tint. And for the front side, we are allowed no more than 70%. A 55% will be illegal. But i kinda understand…. On country roads, a 55% on the side is just too dark.. it serves no purpose other than making it hard to see on your sides.. in urbain area at night, i suppose 55% is acceptable but honestly i i prefer to roll down the side mirror when the weather allows it. (No car jack where i live) so 70% on the side is probably better at night. But i wish there was a film that could change from clear to 70% to 55%

I just got my truck tinted and had to search up where you got your tint and looks like I got it from the same place. I went with 30% ceramic. It makes a huuuuuuge difference in my old trucks ability to cool down faster and stay cooler longer.

Yo I like the windshield tint on Red! I’ve been riding with 50% on the shield for about a year and not a single cop stop me yet. (Knock on wood) Im not sure if y’all do inspection sticker in Texas, but for me it’s hard to get an inspection sticker with windshield tint.
I appreciate it man and yeah I think 50% is a good balance to where you have some privacy but it’s not crazy dark to work cops with trip but you can definitely tell I have something on there. Yes we do have to get inspections in Texas and that’s my biggest concern

My windshield is tinted at 30% and I absolutely hate it. It's too dark at night. The dealership did it before I picked up the truck. I'm going to replace my windshield because of it I think.

@@KevinQ1989 No, it was a Ford dealership. It's actually at 35%. They've got their own window tinter and he's just kind of an idiot. It's not unheard of for vehicles in NM to have windshields tinted, just not that dark. I think I put a video of it on my channel.

I love mine. Won’t ever not have tinted windshield again. Cooler and better on your skin blocking out the suns UV. Cops don’t even look twice. My truck is black and blacked out so it just blends together too.

Not sure about the inspection fingers crossed lol. The sides are basically at like 5% I have like 20% on top of 30%

I roll my front two windows down, then take out the master window fuse before I go get it inspected. They never tell me to roll them up and if they do, you don’t need to have functioning windows to pass inspection in Texas!

Love Tritek!!! Been going there for all my vehicles. I also got the best ceramic but I did 70% and also got the brow. I didn’t want the windshield dark but did want heat not coming since I work out of my truck about 75% of the day.
Nice I can def tell a difference with the heat reduction to . Also getting less glare from oncoming headlights of other cars

Yea 30-35% def would have give that blacked out look. But it’s 🔥 lol. My biggest issue is just trying to find someone to pass me on inspection luckily the last two years I was able to but I was worried with 30% that he may not pass it.
