Should you tint your front Windshield? 70% Front Impressions

  • This video covers before and after getting my front windshield tinted on my Tesla Model 3. I decided to tint the front as the sun coming through the front window was heating the cabin and the driver and passenger. This hopefully reduces that by 50%! Highly recommended. ** Polarized Sunglasses do show tint coatings, recommend getting a pair of non polarized sunglasses when driving with front tint.
Night Driving: Happy to report nighttime visibility is still great. Cannot tell I've tinted the front.

I went ceramic nano flex 5% all around and front 70% on my 23” ford raptor and it isn’t hard to see out at night at all. But looking in you can’t see in. I did my panorama sunroof 5% also and Abe to leave it open and it doesn’t get hot at all. You can’t even feel the sun rays when it’s sunny out. Really does cool down the temps so much

Just got a '23 Tesla MY delivered. Went 20% all-around with Suntek Ceramic (CIR) and 70% with Suntek Evolve Ceramic for the roof and windshield. We'll see how it plays out once it comes out of the shop. In NV, so walking a fine line between aggressively keeping the sun out and being able to drive at night safely. 15 is too dark IMO. No issues with law enforcement out here as they mostly don't care, everyone is tinted well below legal, and NHP is 50% staffed 😅...Cali a different animal so beware there...

I have been tinting my Porsche Turbo and other MB and Lexus with Air 80 ceramic in the front and 30 x 15 x 15. Yes, you are right, 15 is too dark at night especially as I get older. For my future vehicles, I am planning to do Ceramic 70 in the front and roof and 20 or 30 all around. I was thinking 30 all around, but may now go with 20 after seeing this Y-tube for my incoming F450 Limited.
