i've been debating on tinting my front winshield for a while now, and this video helps with my decision. i love having super dark tint on my car as well.
A night time view from inside would help people get a better idea of what percent they would prefer

I went to the tint shop made they had 1-5 numbered from light to dark how do they corespond with the 50% 30% 15% and 5%
I have 5% tints on all 5 windows and i want to tint my windshield. Would never go 5% on my windshield it took me a while to get used to my tints especially backing up at night and when theres cold weather.. but im eventually tinting my windshield probably 30%

My front windshield is tinted on my g6 with HIDs and yooo it looks reel goonish. Its all about the look you goin for plus it says somethin about your personality. No one can see inside i mean no one, im a very private individual but very detailed.
The glasses are awesome. I like the concealed wipers.

if got a 05 reg can silverado with 20 on the doors and back glass and a 5 brow and the inside of the truck is way darker and looking out then your car. why is that? is it just the camara or what not?

I always put 50% ceramic on the front window. I had 30% on my 2015 SRT GC. Looks amazing, stops heat and glare and protects the leather on your dash as well!

My tint shop won't do it anymore. But the 30% at most angles is perfect. At others, u can see right in... good thing is, the car looks really dark and law enforcement never bother me. 🙌
Andrew Cleveland you should check out Lumar Air blue 90 for the windshield it’s a non-conductive ceramic technology film with 43% heat rejection, maximum ultra-violet rejection,

I installed 35% XPEL Prime XR on my windshield and I can see everything clearly day and night. Not all ceramic tints are made equal.
Kudos for locking the camera exposure when inside the car to give the true effect of VLT.
What are you filming with fam
I have the windows on all of my vehicles tinted 20% front, 20% over factory rear windows and 50% windshield. The trick to the windshield is to put a 5% strip at the top over the 50%. When you look at it from the front it doesn't look tinted.
No problems at all at night. Running dot legal led headlight bulbs. Putco nitelux and same in fog lights.

I went to get my tint done yesterday. The tint guy told me he doesn’t recommend front wind shield tint bc of the electrical device it throws it off on new model cars. Is that true?

I have CTX 40% on my windshield and its been almost 2 weeks now and Ivw drove passed cops in their cars, drove behind, drove passed cops on feet, drove passed undercover cops and they havent bothered me. Im planning to get CTX5 or ATC5 for the sides, I could ATC now, but I want most heat rejection which CTX offers more of, then my windshield gonna look darker. Im currently riding fish bowl on sides. My 06 Altima gonna look Hella sick with the ctx 5 on sides along with the 40 on windshield with aftermarket mesh grill. Its crazy how just having windshield tinted makes your car look slick when its overcast weather. Driving at night is no issue tho tho driving in big rain storm is kiiiiinda problematic cause the area I was driving in had shittt white dotted paint. I might need LED when I get CTX 5

I had 2% on my last ride had to roll the windows down at night just to back out. Only thing that sucked about really dark tint.
I have a 2014 es350 and my wife has a 2014 is250 both cars 50% on windshield and 35% all around, classy and effective. Although she has a medical and I am LE, neither of us has ever been pulled over. It's just enough to be seen and dark enough to do its job. Do it with respect and consideration to the law and people around u and u almost will never have a problem. Blacked out basically says F the law and the people around u. Being able to see other drivers and being seen by other drivers is important, we all at times read a drivers body language, we can see if they see us and they can see if we see them. I didn't right the law, I can only tell u how to push the limits. Doing 29-32 in a 25 is like moderate tint, doing 39-42 in a 25 is like limo tint. Good luck and great video.

Tinted 5’s & tinted windshield in St. Louis city never been pulled over once for it. Even when I get stopped for speeding they don’t say anything
I limo tinted my 2018 ram sport blacked out back windows nd rear seat windows although my front windows nd windshield are @its legal tint its still is super dark..my issue is not being pulled over because I can just roll the windows down in the sunlight nd it allows you to see inside, my problem is night driving and being visible to other drivers. I have numerous drivers almost side swipe me nd tbone me because for some weird reason they cant see me... its weird because I do have a hemi engine which is loud but for some reason I find myself dodging accidents @ least twice a week since tinting my truck. Also while night driving, its harder for me to spot marked police cars nd backing into spaces so at times I have to open up the slider window while parking nd highway driving.. Although it would probably b safer to remove the tint, I'm not doing so😉
My neighbor does tinting and his Scion FR-S has 5% around the entire thing. Including front windshield! Literally can't see inside it lol. Says it's not too bad driving it

In Brazil it was 123 reais which was like 70 dollars full tint with a forged 50% dark tiny so it would be "legal" as they dont check btw it was like 100% tint

Compa Cheo I have 35% and it’s not bad at all. At some angles/time of day you can’t see in (which is good) but night driving is normal, easy to see. It’s dark enough to be like “yeah wut up, sexy I know” but light enough to be in the green light

I live in Texas which law says it’s 35% up front and pretty much pitch black in the back lol

I get pulled over all the time in California for my exhaust being too loud in my GTI. I got 5% on the doors and hatch 20% on the windshield. I have all black interior and black car. So most of the time they don’t notice since I always get pulled over at night.
Brother! Great video, I am going darker on my windshield!! But make sure you mount that radar detector beside your rear view mirror and make it parallel to the road. You will get significantly more distance and detection :) Cheers!

I bought my Mustang GT used and it had a real dark tint. It was ok except on a dark rainy night. Now and then I would roll down the passengers window to see what’s coming.
I have 50% front windshield when I see cops I just roll down windows and makes front windshield not look tinted if you have all windows up it makes front windshield look super tinted

I don't think that's going to be a big difference. Some ask if I use 15% or 20% I've been using 20 and I've played around with 15% and I can't really tell the difference

Very nice car tint looks great! I have 20% all around on my truck with 50% windshield and a 20% brow which works perfect for me I had 5% on the front windows but I drive in a lot of low to no light areas at night so it didn’t work for me 20% is perfect
Do any vehicles in California have Amber or blue chameleon tint on front windshield maybe not to many but that's crazy they get more sun than any other state but have the strictest laws that's BS
What about insurance? I heard if you get into a reck they won’t cover you, if they know your windshield is tented

There's actually just 2 reasons for that, 1, the car is actually not the car and is CGI or a kit car (for stunts and whatnot) so either they didn't build the interior or can't be bothered to use CGI for the interior because it would take ages. 2, they don't want you to see some bummy driver sat in the seat.
No doubt a lot of people don' think about that. Also in most magazine ads.
