I have 50% rt and I used have 35% it was darker than I thought I mean I can see at Sun and Night but when its cloudy dark and rainy I couldn’t 50% Windshield ceramic best perfect choice for me even when someone have strong light it dosent even hurt my eyesI loved it

I had 55 before this and it was good. Definitely a good balance for daytime and nighttime the 35 is definitely darker in the night time but not bad.

You was talking about the car wash. You are right. With 12 wides, I was able to go through my local car wash. Once I added 2 inch spacers, NOPE. I haven't tried another car wash, it's been all handwashing since then. So, ask me if going 14 wide with the spacers was worth it. HECK YEAH!!

35% windshield is legal in Texas?
@@OakCliffno, windshield tint is 100% legal in all fifty states. You can tint like 4-5 inches up to the as1 line on your windshield but its virtually like having no tint at all. Me personally i put 20% on my windshield simply because i dont give a fuck what cops think of it at all. And in my state, tint is a secondary offense, meaning they can’t pull you over just for tint. You have to be speeding or doing something illegal and then they can put the tint ticket on top of it. But they cant just see your tint and automatically harass you about it. And i drive very careful and always go the speed limit. So my 20% windshield will be on forever, and i dont give a fuck what any karen or pig thinks about it. We also dont have yearly inspections either. :)

That 35% looks dark. So I better get 50 to 70% tint. I have vision problems. However, every State has a legal limit. And that includes car tints.

An that tint look good. I can only imagine how much trouble I would get in if I did my front windshield. I love tint entire truck limo but on a front strip on front. I can't stop getting harassed just for covered taillights and minor stuff. Dang probation for taillights. All these cops and judges and stuff just want money it's insane. Truck looks good man. Tint definitely helps keep the leather safe in the summer heat and sunlight and it helps gold on the heat during winter 💯💯💯💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

Hey that 35% looks good. I'm thinking of doing 35% on my windshield. Currently, my setup is 50% on my front windshield, double tinted 15% and 5% passenger and driver 5% over factor on the back windows, and 5% on the back Motosheild Nano Ceramics. It looks clean but from certain angles, you can still see my silhouette in the truck and I think it's the light coming in the truck from the front windshield.
35% looks good but at times yes you can still see in at times
I got 5% on my back windshield. Yes you can see thru the back from certain angles at night, but my silhouette can't be seen. But anything that lights up in my vehicle can be seen, like my stereo, cell phone etc
Stick with 50.. pretty sure with your other windows being so dark.. you can’t see nothing.. 35 is way to dark on the front.. cops will surely notice and ticket u

35% always looks good but I always suggest 50% to my customers so it's better safe than sorry.
50% definitely is the happy medium
In direct sunlight you can easily see in %35 I recommend %20 windshield with a big %5 strip blocking most of the sky

@@xroda_ I had 20% I believe I still have it up. But 20 during the day isn't bad it's actually nice feels your own bubble without anyone noticing it's you... But yea for sunlight id say 35% with 5% brow. Don't suggest doing 20% if you travel or always on the road day and night.. if you only drive during the day never go out anywhere then 20 is your best bet to go with.. have 20+ 35%. And 50 windshield. 20 front. The other car is 5% rear and back. 20 front and 50% windshield. I'll get 35% tint all around the entire windows and get that dark look and privacy.
So I have 35% on my ws. What I do is cut a piece of ppf clear film and apply the registration sticker on the outside of the ws. That way it looks more noticeable and you don’t have to cut a whole in the tint..

I’m roasting right now in my car. It’s a flat windshield so the sun is cooking me while I drive despite having tint on the other windows. Thinking I’ll need to tint the front. Got so hot yesterday the screen protector on my infotainment system started to separate.

Hey Q, I’ve been debating going with either Xpel 45 or 55 on my Model Y windshield and hoping you could help ease my decision since you’ve driven with both. Was it a noticeable visibility jump going from 55 to 45? And which one did you ultimately prefer?
I do recall you mentioning that 45 on your Camaro was dark inside. I like a bit of privacy but still want it to be completely safe for dark roads, other family members driving, etc. Appreciate you!
Based on what you told me bro, I was suggest you get a 55%. I just got 35% on my truck and it can be dark on dark roads. Especially if you’re going to have family members driving it as a 55%. The Camaro was smaller had less windows, so 45% seems super dark for that car.
We seem to always be on the same trajectory. Was looking into a model 3 myself lol.

I just bought a 2024 chevy equinox RS trim all blacked out ,getting my side windows tinted Friday 20% then next come my rust proofing by zeibart in the fall then my ceramic coating. I plan on keeping my suv for a very long time so it's worthe the investment

I got 20% on my windshield. Any car i own i put 20% or lower on my windshield. 35 is way too light in my opinion. I think people just are so scared so they get 35% lol but its like, it’s already illegal you might as well get what you want .. I absolutely hate cops with a passion so i get limo all around with 20% on the shield just cause where im from in Maryland its not a valid reason to pull someone over cause of the step act. Limiting cops from harassment. I think it’s wonderful, cause i am not a criminal at all, i just simply dont want you to know who i an while im driving, and thats what it is. What’s the point in having tint so dark you can’t see anything at night that’s not lit up. Your exhaust is illegal your wheels outside width of wheel rims is illegal and your tint is illegal so what’s the point ?

I've been wanting to do this but would cost $$$, If you get a crack in the windshield. The windshield alone is $$$ then you gotta retint it. Around here they want ~$300 for tint job on windshield.
😂 literally that’s just what happened to me and why I went darker. I had 55% and something cracked my windshield. So all in all it was about $750 to do new windshield and retint.

You can get away with 70% but legally you aren’t too good past the AS1 line

I have 20% on my windshield, I don't have any issues seeing street lines, now visibility does change ofcourse if I'm on a road without streetlights.

When the tint lightens up it’s practically clear I have 35% and it’s not bad it’s almost clear from the inside tbh

I did have 55 and then a rocket my window and cracked it so I had to get it replaced so I decided to go darker. 35% is definitely a lot darker in a daytime. Definitely harder to see out of at night time on dark roads better have good headlights.
