    ABOUT DANNY
    -----------------------
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!
I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.
On CZcams and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.
Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble
I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

This golf lesson provides a couple of wonderful drills to help you hit your driver straight. If you are a beginner golfer and are looking for some golf driver tips that are simple and easy to do then you are going to love this.
I will show you the golf swing slow motion so that you can see what you need to do to improve.
    We look at 3 things:
    1. How to stop slicing your driver
    2. How to swing more in to out or how to swing more inside out
3, How to get the correct impact position with driver

Seems like reverse-Danny helping his dad in previous videos. Eager to learn, too many thoughts and nervous but excited to get better.Appears that even accomplished golfers have concepts and motion patterns that are not so easy to abandon. Also,Wonder if Pete believes pressure on front foot is accomplished by arms down pressure and body motion vs setting up more on front side. getting the club face in position to make required strike - great conceptS- informative to see in action.

Hey Danny how's it going, Keith from the other side of the pond in New Jersey checking in. Wanted to pay you a compliment. At first I thought this video was not a good idea for you since you are a golf professional and a teacher of others and I didn't think that it would be a good look since everybody tries to put their best foot forward when giving CZcams instruction. I could not have been more wrong in my initial assessment. After watching the video I think it was a great collaboration and as mentioned by others a sign of true humility on your part and I believe it in no way diminishes or tarnishes your image, on the contrary it enhances it! I went out in the backyard after watching this video and employed this chipping strategy and I was amazed at the instant results! I hope you do more videos with Pete Cowen and I am now subscribed to your Channel! Keep up the great work and God bless!

I put this technique into my game 2 months ago. It has significantly helped my game. Two things made this work for me ... getting the toe under the ball ... and getting "out of the way" without backing up. You can not back up and getting outta the way delivers a great strike. It took me awhile to get it right, but it is worth the effort.

  • @lifesalessonullrnwhnurthru4141

Hey Danny. I watched the episode about the right side and what Pete teaches regarding a full swing and now watched this episode about chipping and I don’t know if I have to start watching Pete more to understand this…..but my question is….what does Pete mean about “pressure”. Feel the pressure. I don’t understand what he’s talking about.
He says “just walk up to it like your messing about and feel the pressure and hit it”.
I relate pressure to rigidity and you sure don’t want that in a golf swing so I’m just confused what he means by this.
I like all here applaud you for putting this out there. It really does show humility and that’s a trait that most of us could use more of.

Pete Cowen is my favorite instructor. Just the way he simplifies everything makes it super easy to get. I use the phrase pivot and collect the ball for my pitching and I try to feel like the hosel beats the toe to the ball. Trajectory, distance, and spin control are all on point.

Pete Cowen is the rough equivalent of ten Butch Harmons in his knowledge of the golf swing. This only illustrates how insanely easy the swing is when executed PROPERLY. Get out of the way and let the club do the work. Harmon may have worked with Tiger but Cowen has worked with 5 major championship winners! If I had their talent I would choose Cowen to develop it. I love his analogy of how the club wants to drop straight down so if the club is hinged straight behind the ball it will hit it properly. GUARANTEED. Golf's finest, simplest instructor since Harvey Penick.
