  • Shannon Bevans, MSW, is the Adult Transition Coordinator at the Spina Bifida Clinic at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, and an adult living with Spina Bifida. She developed this session for adults with Spina Bifida and their care partners and discussed how to live as independently as possible while living with a complex medical condition; how to best navigate an equally complex adult system of care; and where to seek support when self-management is not working.
