    Once again, great information. Especially about the dealer support. I worked for GyroTrac years ago when they were first coming to the U.S., which is how I got into the business.(2003-05) Went back in the Corps after leaving them, so now that I’m retired I want to clear some land I own in SC and I love your honesty and information. Thanks again

    Bought my 2014 Kubota SVL90-2 new. Got about 1400 hrs on it now. Have ran everthing from pallet forks to a Fecon Bullhog Mulcher and its been great so far with no major issues. I agree that heat of the summer and working the Fecon hard will get the fluid temp up there and cleaning the coils behind the seat is a PITA. Did a Delete and particulate filter removal (pre DEF) about a year ago and it helped a bunch both in power and cooling. Its about time for some new tracks. Customer support in our area here in southeast Texas is "OK'" and to this point I'm happy with it.

      @@k-9tiger386 guessing that I’m too young is just such a great argument. Judging by your reply, that could possibly be you, or maybe just you being immature. Did you own the svl 95-2 that we had? No you did not. It spent more time at the dealer then it did working due to the emissions system. The dealer was great but it was junk. You can’t make money with your piece of equipment sitting in the shop. It was bad enough the dealer agreed to help us sell it at no cost so we could buy something else. Ended up buying a t770 from a bobcat dealer an hour and a half away 3 years ago and it’s never been to the dealership once.

    • @k-9tiger386
      @k-9tiger386 Před 2 lety +1

      @@BIGBUCKHT75 I understand that, but with a bad dealer and a good piece of equipment you still aren’t making money. Here’s why, every piece of equipment will break down and require repairs now relying on a good dealer that can be done fast but if it’s a bad dealer it they can keep your 2-3 without that machine. That’s a lot of money lost if your a small company without machinery for reserve. That’s all I’m saying. I was lucky enough to find my favorite piece of equipment and an amazing dealer, but sometimes we all can’t do that.

    I run the same Kubota setup as in the video and a Deere 333G with same FAE sonic head. Performance is about equal in the 2 machines, Kubota drinks more fuel, Deere runs hotter, but both good machines. I would say the Deere has more weight in back so on a downward slope Kubota can get squirrely. Kubota in video needs to get guards for his hydraulic connect points, they will save alot of money. Kubota does have a more comfortable seat with the air ride seat and grease points are easier to get to. Now the wire that goes from FAE head to the skidsteer has a habit of getting pinched between hoses and rubbing insulation off wires causing fuse to pop in machine so make sure to protect that wire. Also the Deere has more leg room and backup camera is easier view from where they have it mounted. Last thing is the Kubota door has opened a few times due to wood chips hitting button hard enough to pop door open.

    So I have owned both of those machines. One of the Biggest I like about the kabota over the talkuche is the front idler on the Kabota is duel where the front roller on the talkuche is a single roller so it pop out easier and you can walk off your track on side hills so much faster and easier. Where the Kabota does hillsides better. Yes you have to have the tracks On tight. They are super Machines.

    We run around 40 tacos and have recently purchased 3 Kubotas in the last year. I personally like the Kubota better which is why I bought one for the farm. Taco is a good machine, I just think Kubota really has a better overall design and are easier to work on. The newer tacos seem to be lacking for power even though they are actually more horse power.

    Pretty sure takeuchi was the first to have fully welded chassis for the rollers and first with the slide up door. Kubota looks to have copied some stuff. Hey like what you like. I'm a Tach fan great machines.

    My local Kubota dealers suck too. Price gouging on equipment and parts. One will try to screw you out of manufacturer incentives. Bobcat is all a-holes; can’t even buy from a dealer out of your area because of their territory rules. I wouldn’t even consider one. I like CAT and Takeuchi. Kubota is good if the dealer is decent. Wouldn’t really even consider anything else. I have no experience with ASV machines but I hear good things.
