Jip, his mother is an enabler. If you do not teach your children to take responsibility for actions since they are little and you always cover for them, then THIS is what you get for it. Mamas that cover for their kids enable them to fine tune lies and always walk away from whatever they do. His mother doesn’t get my sympathy. Sorry.

I went to university with someone like him. He was entitled, rude and his parents funded everything for him, including a big car. He barely made the grades in the first year and in the beginning of the second year he killed two pedestrians with his car. He fled the scene and was later apprehended. He laughed when he was in court and his parents hired the best attorney money could buy. But his behaviour in court and the fact that he fled the scene sealed his fate. His mother went ballistic and was arrested for contempt of court. Very strange dynamics.

How interesting whenever a criminal is being sentenced for their crime, those tears are only for themselves and not for the people they murdered.
What would we really expect from people like them anyway? It is always about them. Killing because the felt wrong, killing because they feel like they want to.

Based on the documentary she wasn't seen as a conspirator in legal terms before the actual attack took place, as well lack of evidence, otherwise they would charge her. @@taylorpresley4604 I agree. They undoubtedly made him the prince of their family. They, especially the mother, probably worshipped the ground he walked on because of his genius, and just because he was her son. It is disgusting that she was not charged! If you stay in the car while your friend goes in and robs a store, killing someone you are chatged
Very bad example. No the person has not committed any crime if they just sit in the car.
You must establish the fact that the person knew about the intention of the robber and agreed to it. This is a chargeable offence and even this is not waterproof as the person must agree to take part in the robbery willingly. The court often need visual evidence. For example the person is found actively aiding the robber as lookout.
Your statement is silly.
Bad example, first of all she was in the car with him, even if she knew or slight had some info about what he did, she still was not the one who killed the guy and wasn't part of it. We don't know her reasons, maybe she felt in danger or she was scared of him or maybe she really didn't know or she was convinced or didn't wanted to believe that he did what he did.
This kind of disconnect is always so creepy to me. It feels like someone that would have taken more people out if not caught.

@@TobyN.Tucka_TNT WHAT?
Really? The victim threw a wine bottle through a closed window? Sure.
@@suebrown7358 IF that occurred why not call the police so they could see that a wine bottle was thrown at his car? Maybe they would have seen that and said it was self defense. I don’t believe that happened though; that man heard on the news that the victim worked in a wine shop and put that lie together.
Wow, the behavior of the couple is so disturbing, weird and shocking!
I always wonder, how do these weird people find each other. Wonder what she is really like ???
It’s nauseating! Isn’t it?
That guy is an alien weird.
That baby talk was annoying!
@@gregshell8570 how do they function in general? Hold a job, get paid big money. So bizarre.
I believe the wife was the anonymous caller. She didn’t lawyer up and willingly gave them her purse with the receipts.
Agreed! I’m glad someone else realized this!
Heartbreaking story
This is so heartbreaking and to think he only got 29 years for deliberately taking an innocent man's life makes no sense.
Totally agree, when or if he gets out in his fifty's or sixty's don't be surprised to hear about unsolved murders and missing children coinciding with his release.
Will you pay the taxes for feeding him till he dies in jail at the age of 80 or 90. ?
It makes perfect sense if you consider that he was never forced to become a man. He was considered too precious and a genius by his mom and his wife continued to baby him literally. He had never taken responsibility for his own actions, I'm pretty sure he doesn't even know what reality is like
@@samcorlsamuel9074 Gladly!
@@annak8755 Hopefully, reality has smacked him squarely across the face now that he's in prison!
It's DESPICABLE of the Attorney General to NOT bring charges against Jennifer ALSO & have her PAY FOR & FACE THE CONSEQUENCES OF HER ACTIONS AS WELL!!!!!! SMDH....
Have you considered that they may have felt they could not convict her? Sure, she looks guilty. But they have to prove it.
Liberal state
They weren't sure.
I feel bad for her. She had to protect her husband. 😢😢😢😢
@@it-ke9odno, she didn't.
The wife should be in jail too
He is constantly smiling during the jury and his sweet voice make nauseas 😮😮😮
the two witnesses were awesome, 😮 wow the amount of detail and precision they provided were truly remarkable ,especially the portrait of the suspect. very good attention to detail in a chaotic scene
👍👍👍
Nope 👎🏻
I am of the rare opinion that the guy that got sh0t did more than his friends thought he was capable of. I’m not saying the gay guy deserved to die, but that there is a missing piece to this story!
The reason why this is important it helps us to learn from the mistakes of others! And this can’t happen if we keep hiding the essential info needed to make an accurate evaluation!
Peace and blessings’
@@mrquick6775 You're not even adressing the original post. Troll
Who said he was gay? He had a girlfriend who was in the courtroom.
All the detail in that short amount of time is just so unbelievable. They've helped to find the murderer.
What a sociopath! His mother’s request to replace him shows how she probably always sheltered him. It makes me sad because I don’t think she realized how that enabled him to be the narcissist and possibly sociopath that he is.
Sometimes I think, it takes one to create one...
@SpringNotes well grandiose narcissism typically comes from the dads side. She was probably just the co-dependent person allowing it to all happen.
She said she gave him a gun to protect himself.
She felt guilty for his actions.
@@Nancy-ul7mz No judge would ever decide to put the mother of an adult man in jail. Why didn't the lawyer simply tell her not to waste her time with that?
Thank u very much.
That is such a great view of the Space Needle, above the clouds, at the beginning of this terrible story.
When the defendant starts telling his story; duper's delight is all over his face. He is gleefully telling this tale. He is excited and amused at his own storytelling ability. I've got chills.
I scrolled down to see if there’s anybody else who noticed that. The guy is almost smirking, he’s fighting so hard to stop himself from grinning. He was enjoying it. He was enjoying telling a tale of “action” like what he saw in his movies, being in the spotlight, and being the victim. He fully believed himself to be the hero of a movie in that moment, that’s what I’ve seen from his performance. Absolutely sickening. He’s completely insane and they’ll let him be free again eventually…
It's vile
same delight you see on the face of Jodi Arias when she was telling her story of "self defense".
@@viablue8143Not for a very long time. He's really soft. He's going to have a very hard time in prison.
@@user-lf4td9xr4vThat's a real psychopath right there. Textbook.
"Meanwhile, back among the grown ups" that was awesome!
Jennifer should have gone to jail as well.
It was nice seeing van Sant and the crew track her down. I hope she never experiences peace from her actions.
"I'm not sure" drove me nuts. You're covering for your murdering husband.
