Women, don’t believe men who tell you they’re wealthy!! Wealthy people NEVER TELL YOU they’re wealthy!
Oh
😊😊😊
When Diana's mom said, " HE LOST HIS RIGHT TO LIVE WHEN HE KILLED DIANA". She was 100% Correct.
absolutely.
To the gallows with him.
I disagree. Death and the luxury of death row would have been an easy way out.
LWP in general population is much harder punishment.
And pay less to taxpayers.
And the family doesn't have to deal with the endless appeals that reminds them about him time after time opening the wounds.
Now they can just let him rot in prison for the rest if his natural life. They don't have to hear of him ever again.
To some people, the topic of life IS actually a black and white issue. Some people view all life as precious or divine or whatever. And it's pretty understandable, imo.
God's law states of you take a life, your life is required.
WE NEED MORE POLICE LIKE HIM AND HIS TEAM!
1.) Took the mom seriously
2.) Actually did his job🎉
Remember that being a ‘police officer or detective’ is a JOB. Some people don’t get the choice to do things their superiors do not allow them to. Some people suck at their ‘job’ too. I’m sure you have had bad service somewhere. I’m tired of people painting cops as bad or good. It’s a mixed bag.

You are so right. They really took everything seriously and cared about this poor girl and what had happened to her. Great detective work tracking him down, where he travelled, stayed, visited, bought and discovery of vehicles, taxi driver, tracking phone and speaking to everyone that knew victim and murderer. Strange how his family never came forward with any information.
@@annc.3908 I didn't say they were all good or bad, just that I wish more were like this. And if their supervisor says they shouldn't take something seriously maybe they need to get a new supervisor

I am a mother. My child is my life, my soul, my beating heart...I don't know how these strong, admirable women survive something like this. They are truly an inspiration. RIP Diana.

It's amazing how many people trust someone is a good person just because they have a degree.
I agree-that piece of paper holds too much weight for people!

We see this a lot on these documentaries. 'Successful and a good member of the community'
It means nothing, because nobody truly knows what goes on behind closed doors.

Women shouldn't base a man's qualities on just his job and how he behaves around other people.

They thought he had money it's not about a degree
I appreciate the prosecutor saying she was being gaslit. He knew he was dealing with a narcissistic psychopath.
I'm so glad that they are aware of the cycle of abuse. When I was in a similar situation, and went to the police, they told me that "He probably won't carry through with his threats."
Gaslighting and Narcissistic manipulation; words that have finally been mainstreamed and defined! DV was silently ignored for too long, avoided because no one knew what to do or say. They were embarrassed, and brushed it under ground. NO MORE! Thank God, no more! 🙏💜
@zxy78267 thats outrageous - they DO eventually carry out their threats.
I hope you got away safely.
@@anonymoose116 I did, but I wasn't really safe until he moved on to another victim. She got away, too. Then he married a woman who stayed with him for seven years, but then she left him. I have no idea what he's doing now.
So many narcissistic psychopath nowadays according to the news and these segments. People need to educate themselves how to distinguish those people and stay away. Especially extrovert people who always have some fun stories to tell those are the ones usually very shady, suspicious and narcissistic psychopath.
This detective said “we got lucky” (with the fares.) No, you didn’t. You followed your instinct and it paid off. You are a great asset
And Divine Intervention as his colleague mentioned when he worked through his exhaustion for a few more minutes and discovered key phone location data.
100% agree. What a great officer.
There are a couple of different instances of him doing some high quality, dogged police work and crediting luck or God. It's his dedication and focus that got the job done.
They did a wonderful job, it's the first time I see police officers so quick to respond.....they are the best
They wouldn't of been able to prosecute or approach him without the Uber driver
Her only child?! The height of tragedy. The restraint this woman has is nothing shortof divine.
Absolutely. It’s sickening that her beloved child fell into the hands of a monster.Unfortunately, mom will always suffer, because of it,too.
I was strangled by a "nice guy". It was the 1st time he yelled, showed anger, behaved cruely or acted aggressive towards me. We had lived together over 6 months. He was gentle, kind and loved by all. I left him the next morning after the neck incident. A few years later, he married a beatiful young women and they had a daughter and a few years later he then strangled his wife to death and shot himself to death. Zero tolerance reminder to young women. It has been decades that night. I don't know how i knew to leave. Leave!
I love how deeply and completely this woman loved her daughter 💗
My Mum should take a lesson in that.

These officers are the best. Great work.
why
The way his male colleagues described him vs his female partners-guys just because a man is your friend, doesn’t mean he isn’t a completely different person around women/in relationships
Such a true comment! Men and women act differently in the presence of the opposite sex. Only the women can attest to his true personality.
Amen
These guys know. I just think it's guy code. Never tell on another guy.
How would they have known? They didn't.
@Jim Werther We don't know that they didn't. It's not like it's uncommon for friends to cover for their friend's bad behavior. Somehow this man's neighbors knew he was abusive but not his friends lol
You can't tell a narcissist you are leaving them. You have to just ghost them. Just disappear with no explanation or trail. Otherwise this is what happens.

It doesn't always work out that easy. If you've never known someone in this situation or have experience yourself, statements like these just add to the abuse making the victims responsible.

I want to acknowledge the neighbor who made the 111 call about their first argument that sounds really bad. It's good that someone or a stranger was initially concerned about her safety, but sadly, the devil still took her away later on 😢
It so often happens that people hear something going on and just "want to stay out of it." I'm so glad they called, too. It's too bad that in the end, he manipulated her and then took her life. I'm so glad he won't ever have the chance to harm another woman. My heart breaks for Diana's mother.
Our upstairs neighbor got evicted after a DV dispute, we had called the police multiple times in the months prior. We didn’t want trouble it was very much like this where it sounded awful and we were concerned, we didn’t know the cops told her who called until she moved out. This case resonated with me hard. My abuser got arrested twice for choking me and assaulting me and all the Connecticut justice system did was give him a slap on the wrist of 1 year probation, restraining order that they refused to renew, and 1 year of anger management classes. Despite the fact that he fully confessed to abusing other women since he was 17 and also straight up lied in court about his behavior at the workplace, he paid bail twice and the justice system didn't do ANYTHING else to stop him from harassing me at the workplace and the workplace of course favored him and didn't do anything to stop the harassment at work, even though it was all on their cameras. @@jmtolerico That quickly? 🤔after just a few months? 💰💸
What I find puzzling (although probably _no one else_ here in the comments will) is why her father was apparently okay with them shacking up. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ He thought Diana was "happy".
If you read the frame of the police report (and not just the narrative), it states that Diana gave the same explanation ("rough sex") to the police as the reason for the disturbance to the neighbor(s).... Was it the truth, or not? Or if it wasn't, maybe it still played a role in the past; therefore seemed feasible enough at the time.
Anyone can rationalize, "well, she was a 26 year-old adult and can make her own decisions," blah-blah... But they'd be correct, from a _legal_ standpoint only--not a relational one. But a father who is tuned in to his children and paying attention to what is going on, they're going to have a 'check' in their spirit about all that. Even if they're being hypocritical about it... I guess society's conscience has just gone dead. 😞

I feel so awful for her parents. Her mother’s grief breaks my heart. Diana is so adorable. Such a tragedy. RIP sweet girl.
I've been a widow for 3,5 years and not ready to date, but if I were, I'd do a background check.. I've seen enough of these and I'm a nervous and sceptical person as is.. RIP Diana ❤️
Sorry for your loss! 💔
@@NilyakEtap Thank You ♥️
It's so freakin scary
If you can't judge a person by yourself , nobody can help you
Years ago. Prior to internet frenzy. Men were victimizing women by dating them then stealing all their money. It then was recommended for women, even men. To do background checks on anyone one wanted to bring into their lives. Now with the ease of the internet. This can be achieved sitting at home. YET! No one utilizes this feature to protect themselves and their familes.... 🤷
Good thinking.... Please do. Always stay safe and diligent...
My sincere condolences.

My heart weeps for Diana's Mom, Lena 😢💙 And of course her precious, beautiful daughter. So tragic 😥. Bravo to the hard working, persistent, and caring law enforcement investigators. These men are what we all hope for when law enforcement is needed. 👏 🌟
The exact second I hear a man say that about my daughter sleeping and call me back whatever I would have called 911 immediately . Such a sad crazy story. Condolences to the family and God bless these police and investigators.
My heart literally hurts for her parents. 💔
Wish my mother loved me the way Diana's mother loves her. ❤️
Me too
A father's pain. You can hear it in his voice. 😢 may God send him strength. 🙏🏽
You mean the mother?
Diana's mother is awesome! Her advice about listening to your gut is spot on.
what a beautiful young woman. my heart BREAKS for her parents. her mother is incredibly strong 😢❤
nose
Love the mom! Praying for her. 😢
My heart goes out to her parents.
So VERY sorry for the mom and dad and the suffering this has caused them.
I worked at PNC, and I am seriously surprised he was given that position. You have to pass an extensive background check, and fingerprinted.
It's called white privilege..that's why. Surprised that he didn't get away with it...ugly reality...
Someone there must have known, and let him in.
That’s why they refused to give a statement. They know they messed up.
I know. Somebody dropped the ball on his felony charge.
NEVER EVER EVER move in with someone after 2months. It takes 18months to learn the basics and a lifetime to really get to know someone. Teach your kids how to date.
Sounds like Jeff Dahmer
Teach your kids to work hard gets As in school go to college get a career and don’t get involved! 😅
I hope the juror that allowed him to live never knows a moment of peace in their life for as long as they live. I hope they lose someone they love to a monster like this man and I hope that their jury does to them what they have done to Diana's sweet mother. I hope their choice torments them forever.
Losing someone they love won't register in his mind/heart as it would a "normal" person and would be another life lost. Let him rot.
That's a very hateful comment. Maybe they weren't cutting him a break, but actually thought a psychopath like him would be tortured by a life sentence. Wishing harm on someone's family members for a decision they made as a Juror is actually pretty sick !!
45 minutes to reach a guilty verdict.
Great fkin job from the cops and the DA's. They absolutely crushed that case.
This crazy man reminds of my ex. We never know who we end up with! God Bless!
This kind of person doesn't show you who they are right away (unless you are very aware of the red flags and listen to your gut instincts).
They are charming at first. And they often do a thing called "lovebombing" early on, where they try to overwhelm you with positive and romantic attention.
The emotional abuse often comes only slowly and later, over the course of weeks or months. It's so important to know the red flags of an abusive person.
Usually, it is control and emotionally abusive behavior that comes first, well before threats or physical abuse.
If someone reading this sees their own situation in this, get help right away.
Call a hotline like RAINN.
Leave as soon as you safely can,
And whether you leave or can't leave right away, or just feel confused about whether this is abuse,
seek out a Therapist who focuses on abuse, and DO NOT tell your abusive partner or anyone who might remotely tell him or someone who could tell him.

That's why I can't stand charmers. Im grown, I don't need excessive compliments. It makes me feel uneasy.
Yeah well maybe that's on you
Reminds me of my ex too

I don’t see how everyone is surprised he looks terrifying
Narcissists can be very charming and deceive people all the time. They are masters of manipulation. I don't see what she saw in him from a physical point of view, though. He's not attractive at all.
@@zxy78267 What you see as beautiful, others can see as normal or ugly. Beauty is relative
He sounds like a sociopath. They're usually smart and likeable in the community. They're habitual liars, use gaslighting often, and abuse for control. I survived someone like this man. Like her, I was only with him 6 months. I had to fight to survive. It is not easy to break free from someone like this. I am lucky I didn't get taken out then. I could of been this young woman so it just hits so close to home. I only wish when she broke free that one night that she never looked back.
What a kind, hard-working and decent prosecutor officers!!!!!! Wish all officers were like them ❤
My mom educated me ate the age of 9 yrs that I was to make As and Bs in school, go to college, become an RN with a four year degree and a PHN. Thanks mom! ❤❤❤ You gave me your dream by and my ticket to freedom!
It’s always sad when an innocent person loses their life. But when the person is compassionate and has so much love to give, it’s just heartbreaking.
If she was not smitten at first but she came around to it ( him ) that sounds like he wore her down so much that she agreed to be with him. That's terrible, my ex-husband would do that with something he wanted. He would keep bugging me so much that I finally gave in but sometimes he would just buy whatever he wanted without saying anything to me probably because he was the only one working so it was his money but I guess he forgot that he didn't want me to work. It took some very long years to finally leave. I am so broke ALL of the time but I am happy all of the time. He did give me something that made me so very happy!!! Her name is Samantha.💖💘💝
I'm proud that you got away..and you have Samantha..😁
I'm so glad you got out of the relationship. I needed help from my dad to escape.

Prayers to her loving family.🌹
This one really hit a nerve with me. Exact same behaviour but I didn’t go back and never will. Trust your instincts. I’m so sorry for this poor mother. Her heart is broken. 😢
Thank you for all the full episodes lately!!
If you meet someone and right away they have these grandiose stories, walk away. Ronald Reagan's son? Yeah ok 👌
Yep my ex was like this but not while we were dating but he would tell little lies like he graduated college when he never finished high school. Very controlling & jealous. I think he was a narcissist. But I never heard the term before. I was young in my early 20s, but I did a lot of research about it & read a book called The Sociopath next door. If anyone has a daughter tell them to read that book.
Oh he became abusive at the end, of course I tried hitting back, but I let it happened maybe 3 times & had to leave because I didn't have respect for him, hated him, & couldn't have sex with him. My body would literally tense up. After we broke up, he would tell those bug lies that he was a music producer & knew fanous people. 🤣🤣🤣
My heart breaks for this poor Mother. And step-father 🙏. God bless them both 🙏.
Requescat en pace, Dearest Diana😇😇😇.
I can’t imagine how this mother felt. I have a married daughter who is 35 and we communicate every single day too. This is a very sad story. What is with these insecure guys who just can’t deal with a breakup? How are these mama’s (and daddy’s) raising these guys?
I agree with you. I’m a widowed mom with two boys and I am trying to teach them if a girl or woman tells them no, you respect it and move on. I mean the word no goes for everyone but you know what I’m saying..
@@lindsaynash3653,you need to teach them also of the abusive relationship that women do to men as well.. Bless.🙏🏾💞
Why are there so many of them?? Following true crime, it seems there are so many women being killed by their boyfriends, partners, or husbands.
Blame mothers why don't you. Doesn't it take two parents? Girls need the love of a father to recognise coercive control.
@@ivydickson7596 I’m widowed so personally, I would be blamed because I am solely in charge of raising my boys. I know you didn’t specifically call me out but I’m just clarifying..
I personally think life without parole is worse. Let him suffer his entire life than an "easy" exit. Let the inmates make his life miserable for the rest of his life.
No as it's surprising what a person can get used to especially people with certain types of personality disorders,as there like chameleons PERIOD 😔 so sad R.I.P beautiful Diana 🙏☮️❤️🖤💙💜🤎💛🧡💚🤍⭐
They usually wait years for the day they gonna die when they're convicted to DP. So it is much more stressful than just live.
I agree, let him be miserable in prison.
Poor Diana…NEVER give abusers any leeway, ALWAYS press charges, ALWAYS get that restraining order and enforce it, DO NOT make excuses for the abuser! Not victim blaming because she did make an effort to get away from him, but I just want other people to know that these disgusting people will never back down
This mother’s love is so incredibly deep, she touched my heart. I have a daughter that is about to be 29 and Omgosh 😢I just couldn’t imagine life without her. Your an absolutely amazing woman, Diana is proud!!!🥹
Oh no he can't be an offender...he smart polite clean cut etc etc etc ...THAT'S THE ONE YOU HAVE TO BE AWARE OF
LOOKS ARE DECEIVING
EXACTLYYYYY 😢😢😢😢SMFH 🤬
Facts!
Beware of the overwhelmingly charming ones
It is rather ridiculous that people and police make such stupid comments.
Rapist nor murderers have a cookie cutter appearance.
Gary Ridgeway and Theodore Bundy are great examples of looks can be deceiving!
Mike lived in a superb alternate reality in his imagination where he's so great so that he could cope with his reality of nothingness 😭.
"reality of nothingness"...WOW...I love it!!! Do you mind if I borrow that??? There are quite a few people I know who took up residency there 😂😂😂
Malignant narcissist often do. It seems as though Mike has NPD. Clearly a sociopath.
R.I.P. Diana 🌹⚘💐
@@nisie112 suree HWHAAHAH (I've been there,, had to cope, and in order to live well, i had to pretend i was doing. "well" I'm getting better and im surrounded with loving people now!!) ♡
People who have NPD often live in a seemingly alternate delusional reality of themselves, where they have such an inherent low self-esteem that the only way for them to feel good about themself is to control, manipulate, demean, and verbally and physically attack someone else who is weaker and less likely to put up a fight. Often, other people associated with the narcissist are afraid to speak up or hold the narcissist accountable for his actions. Two prime examples of narcissist are Donald Trump and George Santos.
In Donald Trump's case, he is the personification and epitome of a sociopath with nearly every category of narcissism; malignant, grandiose, and vulnerable, etc.
In George Santo's case, he is also a sociopath and narcissist, yet we don't see the extremes quite like we do with Trump.
Neither individual takes responsibility or blame for anything, yet they are often quick to take credit for anything. This is a classic display of narcissism.
Always do a background check ladies & gentleman when you decide to take your dating into a relationship. It's a must in today's day & age.
RIP Diana 🙏🏻😇
They call a narcissist a narcissist for a good reason, he is truly a narcissist. Really feel for her and her mother. So sad she had to due in order to catch him. RIP
