- Here I make my first PC case. Sure, it isn't as modular as the Core P3, or has the cuteness of the 280X, or the premium feel of either, but I'm happy with how it turned out.
My second PC case build, this time in mini-ITX -
• DIY Mini-ITX Case - Th...
Materials -
Laminated floorboard
Acrylic panel (300 x 300mm at around £10/$12)
Glass standoffs (19 x 150mm at around £10/$12)
Fan dust filter
PC parts list -
Intel Core i3-2120 (£6/$7)
Sapphire R7 260X 1GB (£20/$24)
Dell MIH61R motherboard (£15-20/$18-25)
Corsair Valueselect DDR3 1333MHz (£13/$15)
Akasa AK-CCE-7104EP Cooler (£5/$6)
FSP 300W Modded Power Supply (£7/$8.50, but Corsair and EVGA PSUs go for around £25/$30 used, so use those instead)
WD Green HDD (£6.50/$7.80, but it's Green so ew)
Total - £90.50/$108.6
Which is all right. With enough patience, you can get these parts for cheaper, or get better ones.

Someone buy this guy some new PC components.
This guy is one of the most intelligent sounding people I know. Also, I love the dry and witty delivery. I thought the introductory bit was brilliant.
Someone sponsor this guy, hes freaking lit.
yep
This is legendary and deserves more views
Oz i agree man
Yeah indeed
It's refreshing seeing someone solving problems without throwing indecent amounts of money at it. It seems like it's all PC building CZcamsrs are about these days.
I appreciate this kind of thing more than "$(XXXX) PCbuild" vidoes.
Refreshing for sure!
I agree but when I saw that power supply, it became evident that this is the exact opposite of such videos. An indecently low amount of money spent on components.
what about that expensive tools?
@@pclover2369 those he can use over and over, so the overall cost is spread over each project he creates. And, in developed countries, used tools can be bought surprisingly cheap; in fact, he did say in the video that the cost of the case on eBay would cover what he paid for his tools
This is amazing! This is probably the final push for me to go ahead and build my own case. I recently upgraded to a min-ITX mobo but I also have a full size 5700xt. I just cant find a case that gives me all I want.
Thanks for making this.
Much respect to a craftsman who actually builds a pc from scratch out of his mind instead of just assembling pre made commercial parts... amazing work...
10/10, you and ur creativity brings huge potential to this channel of yours.
This is just insane dude am really happy i found you in my journey of doing these kind of stuff lol , you are definitely going to my top 5 channels , keep it up *HeartsFromDubai*
man, it looks lovely, i hope you do well on youtube, you certainly have the creativity to do so.
I really enjoyed how your patience translated into precision and overall cleaner results here. Well done, I look forward to more projects from you in the future.
I love how some of my favorite youtubers are youngsters doing original things. I watched a young guy build a lightsaber out of spare parts. And this kid, a DIY case made from floorboards, haha! Genius!
This case is really nice, I love your attention to detail! Beautiful work!
Great job!! I think your ingenuity was fantastic to watch. Keep up the awesome content and I wish you good luck in all your future projects.
Congrats on building something creative and in your own style. I'm sick of seeing million-dollar PC builds and cases. Seeing something homemade with modest parts is much more realistic and also a breath of fresh air. Congrats!
Cool project! Fancy skills! A brilliant and lucid delivery! You're gonna be a superstar and an Internet hero.
"The edges can be cleaned through the power of routing. I lllllove it." Haha, i love this kid. what an excellent tutorial. Someone needs to give this guy a TV show! He will inspire so many young people with this. Behold, the power of woodworking! I love it.
I bet the algorithm will make this video blow up! really enjoyed watching it!
Aw, thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
I'm so glad I ended up here by accident 💜
The build looks gorgeous! Thanks for sharing.
Really impressive skills.
Love this. As someone that recently got curious about both building my own PC and woodworking this is like a match made in heaven :D Interesting choice of materials as well, now all you need are some killer-specced components
You make quality content. I was also very impressed by your craftsmanship. You will certainly gain traction on CZcams if you continue to push out this great of content.
Wow! This guy have some serious crafting skills. Awesome work
This thing is absolutely gorgeous and inspiring! Thanks for this great content!
well done bro, ive been building rigs for longer than i care to think and your skills are well past mine.
you have well good prob solving and woodworking skills im impressed. i look forward to seeing future builds. thanks. charl.
Good on you young man! When you said you had tools that amounted to the cost of the P3 I knew this would be special ,and it is. No you don't have the most expensive computer but, what you do have is the ability to make it what you want ,and that sir is priceless. Better parts can all ways be acquired anyone can do that but, not every one has the ability to use there imagination to make it there own.
Love the work you did and the over all style of the video. Keep up the great work, your gonna be big someday!!
Outstanding work! Congrats! I could only imagine the wooden parts painted in matte black 🤩
Hey man, its just great... keep going with this job! Waiting for more builds like this.
Great build, the woodworking skills speak for themselves.
It is warm and very beautiful.
Man this is so freaking clean! Great job
Well done mate, I love the build and your attitude.
Excellent crafting techniques!
Nice project :) I really like the material you used and the way how you did it.
Thank you, the material is nice to work with. It eats up so much of your tooling though.
Absolutely amazing, great attention to detail.
You definitely need more subscribers, I enjoyed every second of the video.
therapeutic and very well done. Great work!
Wow amazing work ! Really satisfying to watch
Wow Buddy, you really make my day, what a beautiful DIY project
Thanks for posting such an amazing video!
Looking forward for other projects like this. Love it ❤️🔥
That is a sweet looking rig my friend.
Very pleasant watch. I'm feeling "zen pc case" with this. Better than my P3 (except for time build vs. bought) in many ways and inspiring.
lovely case ... well done i really enjoyed watching this build ... it is unique and isnt just simply a machine cut and pressed case ... it's hand made and looks the nuts ... well done :D
Such a great work! 😍
Subbed and liked immediately.
This is exactly what I was looking for.
I am going to make something similar soon.
Keep it up mate.
You are awesome.
I like honda teslas.

I just stumbled on your video and really enjoyed it, I looked up the p3 case you were talking about and here the thing is worth around $400. Subbed from here in New Zealand.
Beautiful case and amazing video! Very inspiring
You dropped this 👑
Fantastic build and amazing work all along
Dude, you're totally channeling my future right now. I wanted to make my own case similar to this one, and using floor boards will be perfect for it. Hopefully, I'll have enough scrap after redoing my floors :)
Cool build ! I wish for your future success.
An absolute work of art
So much Love in this Build this is awesome.
That's the reason I bought my Thermal Take P3 - TEST BENCH. A quality test bench.
This is amazing. Very well done 👍👍

Really cool case! Great work!!
Love the video. This is a great idea for my kids to learn how to use a computer without breaking the bank.
It looks realy amazing!!!
love it,this probably the only one i like
out of all pc case modding from old case or custom build or inspired build
too bad i dont have the tools
Nicely done !!!
Very nice. I would be very happy with that case myself. You got yourself a new subscriber.
Truthfully that yellow one would look great with some pikachu details
This is a better built than any industrial mainstream pc case.
Greetings.👍
Very nice build.
Just finish upgrading mine with the p3 red. U did a great job with what u had bro.
very satisfying to watch :)
nice video. good use of laminate flooring too
This video is exactly what I have been thinking about for 3 months, in fact thinking about the Core P3. I have a carpenter friend with whom I could do it. I have been reviewing the measurements mentally.
But I am concerned that between the acrylic, support and front panel I end up spending what would come out a new Core P3, for the rest, I would love to have a wooden cabinet.
What an excellent job you did, I take off my hat.
bro, this is FIRE!!!
Wood working and computers two of my favorite things.
That looks awesome! Great work :)
Love it, a young guy with taste!
thanks for your video bud, it inspires me a lot, i am a wood worker and also own a computer shop. i love building something i wanted to have, currently i am building a table during my past time and sell it online...thanks again, more power and more vids to come...
Coming from someone who owns 2x TT P5 really nice job on the build I did like the idea of what you did with the power supply. As for those who wonder if the case gets to dusty being a open cooled chasis, it is not as bad or not as what you would think. I mainly have both my P5 hanging on the wall and if I would have set both my P5's on the ground yes they would get dusty and more cleaning would be more expected of. I mainly clean my cases out 2 - 3x a year both runnin off a AIO. As for the video I am always impress with watching woodworking Vlogs on others who take there builds to the next step level, to also help give me ideas of what I can do next on my P5's or doing a build from scratch myself.
Found this video while looking for reviews of the P3. Glad I did! It's inspired me to build my own case, as the P3 doesn't quite fit my build, need at least 4x 120mm slots for radiators (240 for cpu aio, 240 for GPU aio). I only have a matx motherboard, so a P5 would be kind of huge for it, not to mention way too expensive compared to my mid-range components.
You definitely deserve a sponsorship, I'd love to see a build like this but with some nicer components and a custom water loop. I'm sure you could get a few sponsors to send you parts to showcase in the videos!
Shiny! I have not smiled so much since binging on Simon's Cat videos. Well done, sir. I like it. I just got a P3 and it cost more than your total build.
amazing work!!!
1:16, yeah... exactly why!? sweet tools!! and great idea!
Excellent video. Thanks.
awsome attempt
this is awesome! Great job!
Clever boy...Thanks. I enjoyed this video.

Aw, thank you so much!
