The day has finally come, Assassin’s Creed mirage has come out. It’s been 3 years since Valhalla and anyone who's watched the channel knows my thoughts on that game. This is going to be my first thoughts on the game, so this isn’t my final review of the game but simply my thoughts on what I’ve played and who this game is for. I wouldn't say the steam charts are the reason for the last cods not doing well. If that was the case then why would that game be going to steam?
@@Exiled7 cod is damned anyway might be trying to avoid the same faith both game series have been hanging of a thread with everyone so divided between old and new integrations of the series.. and cod is a major fps title so they cant really avoid selling on steam it would just mean less money for them and since thats all activision cares about anyways is only money and microtransactions. But yeah may just be something else but thats how i feel abt it
@@Exiled7 and i actually like this game have been playin since launch non stop only feel like every npc feels soulles and the parkour could be so much better.
I’m having a lot of fun with this game. I’ve just got to the part where you are able to explore the open world. The parkour feels much faster and smoother than Valhalla and I’m enjoying Basims character so far. Him during the prologue reminds me of Ezio at the start of Ac2. The city is really vibrant and beautiful so far. I enjoyed how we got to see how the Hidden Ones trained their recruits and Alumut was really cool to explore. Hopefully we will be able to explore it in free roam.
Honestly, I'm shoked that you only have 25k subscribers you definitely deserve more.. I got introduced to you from your video called " are video games dying or are we entering a new age" (i think it was called) and it really did hit a spot especially now when I'm a grown up and don't have time and energy to play games because I need to be focused on other stuff it does hit hard.. you are doing an amazing job tho keep up the good work.

Mirage was thought about as a dlc but was never developed as one. It seems to be more ACA and more what we needed. Short and sweet with a lot to do if you want. I have to add that RDR2 has a man campaign that is a minimum of 60hrs but 60 great hours.
Personally I loved this game. The ambience felt great, not the best but great. The story was alright but when hits the spot it does so well (no detail no spoilers). Combat was weak but thats ok since the main focus isn't combat. Stealth was so spot on after a long while of just fighting your way to the goal
_'Black Flag'_ is the only one I've played right through, twice...

I think it's alright but needs a lot of work to be really good. As for the story... It has a lot of problems especially the twist which just seems to exist for the sake of it.
I don't think the problem is the length but what it does with the length. It's certainly a step in the right direction assuming Ubi$oft actually takes that step. Regardless great video, keep up the good work!
Hey the stutter i got it too ONLY when i was streaming might be a issue with screen capturing tbh. Because when i played off stream it was perfectly fine. My rig is a rtx 2080 r7 5800x and 32 gigs of ram. Its definitely not your rig but i think it might be just recording the game in general and denuvo being a dick about it.

Nah, I'll probably pass on this one too. I guess i will just replay Assassins creed 2 for the 10th time, Maybe when Assassin's Creed for the Quest releases i will play that one.
I enjoy the franchise regardless of the game, my only complaint with Valhalla was the combat was frustrating. The fact that this one got rid of the RPG grind crap and brought back parry insta kills is enough to satisfy me. I was going to buy it regardless because I just love this type of game, but now I may not wait for a sale as I typically do!
nah ubisoft has done a good job with this game it feels great, story and gameplay is amazing knowing that i hated valhalla

I love the way this game plays but it is seriously boring to explore in my opinion. Basim is also a very uninteresting character for me.
Just was watching your gaming is dying video and wow...THANK YOU..I have no platform to say this i am just a lover of games and have been prolly longer than most gamers on youtube have been alive.But again wow you said what i have been wanting someone to say for a long time especially the 60 frames thing.I just want to say this. When i bought a game for my sega genesis i played it no matter if i like some of its mechanics or not, you just would have to get used to it because thats the way the game was made I did not call nintendo and say" um i dont like the way mario jumps so you need to change it or call up the makers of tomb raider and complain about her turning ability you just played the cards the game dealt because thats how it was made, you adjusted and got used to it but you surely didn't write, call or make a video saying how bad it was and need to change it. One more thing...my first mmo did not come with a 50 page instruction book , what you needed to know could be found in game or by other players who were actually friendly and wanted to help.the dipping into everyones pockets after paying $60 bucks for their game already, WOW i could talk on that for hours but wont ramble anymore just wanted to say THANK YOU for making this video.

Why is there so much praise for Unity's parkour everywhere? Unity's parkour sucked, it was unreliable animationlocked with no ejects. Unity's parkour is probably the worst in the series besides Valhalla, even though it looks good.
Assassin's Creed Revelations was the peak of Assassin's Creed Parkour.

Also very important is the video by Leo-K referenced in this. Makes the older Assassin's Creed's three times as enjoyable to replay.
considering I've heard LazerzZ say before that he thinks Unity's parkour is the best of the franchise I have to say you'll need to use something else.
Simply put, Unity allowed more player freedom to how you move and an ability to master moving mechanics and parkour which meant you could have one decent experience as a novice or you could really learn how different pivots and movements work together to create something that feels amazing.
@@Exiled7 Well this video directly from LazerzZ literally tells you otherwise... sooo... And Leo-K is probably the best AC parkour channel with the most in-depth understanding of the use of these systems.
Considering Parkour was stripped out for 2 games, partially put in for one, and reintroduced properly with this last game. I strongly disagree. Unity's parkour has issues as does the entire game but not only was it functional but it allowed more freedom of movement than the prior era and the following one. In comparison to AC3, 4, Syndicate, Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla, and Mirage, it surpasses them all. The fact that it hasn't been improved upon and polished is what holds it back the most, though that can be said of the entire game.

bruh how old are you? I'm 8 mins in and it's obvious you didn't play the first 3 games. AC Brotherhood is the best assains creed game and unity was unplayable for half of its life cycle. this game is the closest we had to first 3 games in a long time. you really need to go back and play those games
