I guarantee over 1.5 MILLION people will be PAYING for the mcgregor fight. Not everyone draws the paying crowd though so we will see. Ngannou has a big fan base but his base either doesnt have money or doesnt lik paying for his fight ever.

And there’s the fact that people usually host parties and stuff for ufc so you can have up to however many people watching ufc that they might have still not paid for, so yeah nobody

and host parties is what i think most people that pay do, or watch at the bar with friends. I have np spitting on ppvs but yeah i wouldnt spend 80 to watch alone at home

Last Diaz last boxing fight sucked. Looked like he didn't prepare for one minute. Masvidal talked so much smack before his last fight, proclaiming he's going to annihilate his opponent. He said to "Bet the house!" In Las Vegas. And his fight sucked too. Good thing I didn't listen to him. I'd be sleeping on the street right now. Felt like he suckered us all into watching his fight so he can get paid big and ride into the sunset. Turn me off to him and I was a fan. Who in the right mind wants to watch these two box?? Sometimes it's fun to watch a train wreck just because it's a train wreck. This just sounds stupid.
Nate had a pinched nerve, a serious injury before that Jake Paul boxing match. The Diaz brothers are too tough for their own good. They never back out of a fight, even though both of them should have pulled out due to similar serious injuries
Honestly I liked that Nate boxing match. I watched it about 2 or 3 times.
i will never buy a boxing ppv or even watch a free boxing event. I think it's hard to justify paying for these kinds of fights. The only sport I watch is MMA, so dispite being a fan of both nate and masvidal , them boxing doesnt interest me. If the fight was $5 and i could only watch those two fight, i probably would , but im not paying $30-60 to watch just one fight and since i dont watch boxing , every other fight on the card doesnt interest me at all to make it worth buying

If its 8 weeks till then. Didnt you always compliment floyd for doing that time frame? I personally think whats killing this fight is that neither one have any momentum of any kind. They finally hit the point of where the outcome of the last fight matters.

Why don't chael do polls on ufc fights
People will watch this fight, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the viewer will press the 'buy' button on PPV. You can tune in by sailing the high seas without financially supporting the event.

I'm a big fan of MMA and boxing. I may watch this fight but never in my life had bought a PPV. It is just damn expensive and it ain't worth it when you can just watch it for free

Boxing makes money...if every fight was a loss like chael is saying, they woulsnt continue to put out boxing cards....nobody is gonna continue to do something year in and year out, if they're losing money every time....top rank wouls be out of business....and they've been doing this the longest....chael has some I wresting takes, but I'm starting to believe he's just guessing when he says he has inside info or was told this from a "legitimate source". He loves using the old professional wrestling terms like a "work" or a "shoot".... now I'm starting to believe him as much as I do the wwe. His love for mma clouds his thoughts, in my opinion....boxing isn't a perfect sport by far....but it's not as desperate as chael wants you to believe.....the way he exploded during the debate with helwani made me look at him sideways....you don't get that defensive about something when you don't have a dog in the fight....helwani has broken more stories than any other mma writer I csn think of....I would trust him way faster than I would chael......on a side note.....of course the ufc has great profits from their cards....They're pretty mich only paying 2 of the fighters well....the rest are on the 10 and 10.....and half of of them don't make that second 10k......there's a reason ngannou could pay his coaches life changing money....because of boxing.

The real question is: who are the sponsors and what are they expecting from this.
I said this on another post but it is worth repeating these are basically push polls until he does a poll about an actual ufc event these polls are meaningless to me . Get a baseline ask the generic question how many of you pay for ufc ppv. Until that happens these polls are just mcguffins for chael to opine on what a bad idead these matches are

I’ve spent over $15,000 in my life, on just UFC PPV’s and a few bkfc or boxing matches. Get a job folks and plan for the expense. Streaming will be the end of this type of entertainment.
