Tony only got Ko’ed because he needed to clear out the shadow realm division
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I can realy visualize that 😆
Yugio vs Ferguson
@@geeloco1600 Tony fought Humura, Masurao, Kagerou, Kagaribi, Kasumi, Ikazuchi, Mononofu, Hagane, Taoyame, and Tachikaze during those 2 minutes out. That explains the twitching, and the stone-cold stare when he came to.
Tony is washed
Neurologist here: the CT scan was done to rule out bleeding in the brain. With a concussive injury that severe with the duration of unconsciousness he experienced, we do the CT to evaluate for things like traumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage, epidural hematoma, subdural hematoma and cerebral contusions. There is no validated diagnostic test for CTE in people still alive but we are getting closer. It is only a diagnosis we can make post-mortem. I share the same concerns for his overall well-being expressed by Guru in this video. I hope he gets the care he needs going forward.
Thank you. So many people seem to literally believe that if the CT scan comes back negative then there wasn't even a concussion...
What do you think about creatine...I heard creatine gives u 50% less brain damage maybe thats the reason why conor couldnt ko poirier the coach of poirier did 2 vids about creatine and brain damage but took it down for some reason. In the vid he said poirier started creatine since a few years
@@kamikazeplays6818 there is no solid clinical trials in humans to show benefit of creatine reducing traumatic brain injury. However, it has been studied in neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson’s disease. The results have been varied. But the scientific rationale is that it reduces oxidative stress in cells, including brain cells, which can protect them from breaking down. So while I cannot say that creatine reduces concussion/traumatic brain injury with any scientific proof, there is some logical rationale for its possible utility.
Thanks doc
Thank you sir
Tony is such a class act and entertaining guy, I'm so sad he lost 😭. The sad thing is that this fight started off so promising and Tony was looking like he did 2-3 years ago before the Gaethje fight and than the spectacular, but devasting front kick happened 😓
Leg kick?
You mean front kick?
@@Lenners ah yes, my bad.
@@MrRazmut all kicks are leg kicks
@@TaiLung145 well you ain't wrong lmao
That first round was the best I’ve seen Tony look since 2016. He looked healthy for once. Just heartbroken man
i will be honest i cried and shut off my pc when tony got ko'ed
The saddest part is despite all of us wanting tony to retire we KNOW he's been underpaid his whole career and ALSO has been fucked up by everyone who has managed for him. Honestly sad bc he is not financially in a spot where he can retire right now... despite all this we all need to remember the legend that is tony defined by how fucking tough the dude is.
Wait, what!?
With everything Tony did for the UFC he isn't safety about money!?
He should be multi millionair yet, fans love him, he sell fights.
I don't understand, it's not cool and not honnest.
Sorry for my English language.
Guru's right about Ferguson starting a gym though. Easy $500k a year, IF he survives his own demons. That IF is unknowable, but it's difficult to be optimistic about.
Look what they paid Masvidal's corpse even after Kamaru beheaded him... Tony should be inked to a sweetheart deal for a couple nice paydays on his way out as he has done far more for the company and is arguably more beloved than Masvidal.
He really wasn't under paid though he made 500k for the gaethje fight
the weasel said tony is the only non champion to get ppv points, so i seriously doubt he's hurting for money. as guru mentioned he could start his own gym and make money off of his name easily. and with the number of fans he has he could start his own podcast or something and make a comfortable living. i don't think money has anything to do with tony's motivation to keep fighting now.
Tony Ferguson vs. Dan Hooker? Or even fight someone older like Clay Guida, Jim Miller? Tony is 38 now. He looked good in the 1st so he can still get a W
I like him vs hooker. Would probably be a close and bloody fight.
Yeah let him demolish Guida and retire on a W
People are saying he is finished but anyone gets KO'd by that shot. He was on the way to winning that fight if you go off the first round. He can still fight at the top level.
@@Dwightpower42 he is finished. look at how he fought in the 2 fights after the gaethje beating, i seriously doubt he'll look any better after a brutal ko like this. it's sad to say, especially after that very promising first round, but i truly believe he's finished. maybe one more fight and if they give him another top guy, it'll very likely be his 5th loss in a row. they should give him an easy fight to let him win and then retire, so he doesn't have to retire on a losing streak.
@@Jack_80 the last two fights before this one are irrelevant, he came back from a long break and he was performing well in the latest fight until an unlucky KO.
Like the guy in this vid says, it was the best anyones performed against chandler in an opening round recently. If Tony goes out and gets beat in his next fight then it’s fair to say he’s probably finished. You can’t judge him on an unlucky knockout, if chandler didn’t get the lucky shot in and the fight continued in the same theme as the first round then everyone would be talking about how Ferguson is back. He gets dropped by a shot that would put an elephant to sleep and suddenly “he’s finished”…. MMA fans are so fickle.
Tony is basically in the Nate Diaz category now. Not a contender but not a terrible fighter. Just a vet character fighter
i actually though tony was below diaz after his last couple fights, but i seriously doubt nate could have a strong first round like that against chandler, he really surprised me with that first round, i expected him to appear completely helpless like he did against oliveira and dariush, it's terrible to surprise all of the doubters like that only to be brutally koed moments later.
He looked so amazing in that first round!! I wished so hard that after the Justin defeat that he would go get the best coaching. That self coaching was the worst for Tony.
That was the saddest I've ever felt watching mma......
That was actually one of the best post fight callouts my god
Cringe like WWE. It was to much acting
heart aches for tony. he looked good. chandler was so chinny
I didn't really see Chandler putting Tony down with his hands personally. It's funny it always takes some crazy thing we don't expect for Tony to lose. Dude is so damn unlucky. Even Chandler said he doesn't train that kick and didn't even plan on throwing it. He may have noticed an opening but still the timing and placement would be so hard to replicate. The Weasle praised Tony's abilities and even said most of Chandlers ground and pound was nullified. Watching it back Tony really did have a legit solid rd. So finally I can take a breather knowing all the things Ive been defending for the past couple years werent just made up fantasies in my head. I just hope this doesn't lead to the same demise as Chuck Liddell because then Tony really will be done. Either way I feel like I was robbed of seeing more of Tony fight. It's been so long since we got to see him be in a competitive fight and I knew Chandler was a good opponent for him to make that happen. 1 rd is not enough. Now he's going to be up for a at least 8 months and by then the dudes gonna be 39. Gahhhh. Why why why.
losing to a kick the other guy does not use often is not unlucky.
@@FrenkieWest32 It is TOTAL LUCK on Chandlers end. Ferguson was about to win this fight and be back on top! DAMN!!!
I thought he was gonna win too… that’s what hurt the most is I was feeling so good 😂😭🤦🏼♂️ Hold on brother Im crying
I guess Tony had a ct scan at the hospital, it came back negative, and he was discharged via mma junkie. Still incredibly sad after a vintage Tony Ferguson performance in the first to get kod so brutally at the start of the second and knowing how tiny is that kos gotta fuck him up mentally and tbh a decent amount physically.
cte scan u mean?
@@tobymattana5320 no ct is correct
@@assconsumer Just looked it up. I saw where u read lol.
Glad you brought up that manic episode that Tony had i believe it was before the Pettis fight. All that damage can’t be good for him he should really consider retiring.
tony is my favorite fighter. cant even put into words the pain I felt seeing that
Absolutely devastating
Tony vs Dan Hooker really is the perfect matchup right now
Feel so bad for Tony but feel great for Chandler.
In all honesty, if this fight went past the second round, Tony wins this.
somehow THIS is one of your best videos, just pure, I could feel your feelings lol
I went 100% dead accurate on picks this weekend
Chandler 2nd round Ko/TKO ✅
Oliviera 1st round RNC ✅
Dimitry Bivol UD ✅
Great work!
why didn't I bet on Bivol UD smh
He was looking really good in the first I thought OMG HE IS DOING IT
life is very sad sometimes
Damn great reflection guru, i agreed on the tony mental part, someone should follow and help him this next days.... we don't know how bad this can affect him
Already Scheduled an appointment with my Psychiatrist for Monday!
Yeah exactly ... the brilliant first round put us all on notice then it was swept away immediately 😔
That's how I felt when Frankie Edgar got knocked out in his last 2 fights. I'll be 17 this Summer, which means it has been 11 years since I was a fan. I was 6 and a half when he lost the title. Should've had it against Benson Henderson in the rematch.
After this ko it went from "its tony time" to "tony its time"😢
Damn my heart was pounding I was literally jumping Tony was back!!!! Then it was like a shotgun to my brain!!! That was brutal!! Prayers for ElCuCuy
Hold on, I'm crying brother
Man I wanna offer him a job… I don’t wanna see him take anymore damage
he could probably just do streams on youtube and other social media platforms and make a living doing that if he wanted. guess his team wouldn't suggest that to him though because there's no money in that for them. or like guru said just start up his own gym, he can definitely make a comfortable living with the number of fans he has.
Never stop guru.
I was feeling rubbish this morning.
Your way speaking makes me laugh so much. Put me in a good mood
Chin changing fight hahahaha
Tony is searching for a chin on Amazon as we speak
11:18 most serious guru ever and for good reason
1 Like = 1 Prayer.
For such an incredible KO there were so many tears shed because of it. I knew Tony would look like Tony again. I could just tell he was back mentally and physically which is why I picked him. That was the best worst KO ever I don't know how anyone could completely recover from a shot like that. Fuck roids man
11:40 you should definitely make a separate video on that topic 👍🙏👃🖖👐☝🙏
I agree with the whole mental thing. It’s concerning. I hope Tony makes a healthy-recovery and moves on to win the next fight. You’re a good lad for mentioning that aspect. People tend to ignore that sh..
This shit is terrible Guru I actually cried thinking about exactly the reasons you talked about, what this could do to poor Tony in the mental health department. This is a life crushing result after such a great first Rd, I really truly hope he recovers physically and mentally I don't want him to ever fight again but he looked too good to say he shouldn't.
Really hard to watch and think about the whole situation, knowing the UFC Instagram is never gonna let that clip die too just like the Buckley KO 😭
Operation Save Tony Ferguson's Career. Start making it now
Retirement, Councilling and Therapy.
He needs to stop
@@mrlegkick91 We all know he's not going to.
Chandler post fight the best thing hes ever done. Fully embraced his moment. Legendary.
Great video I’m in bits can’t believe Tony got koed
11:18 great point i was thinking about it too 🙏
Not sure what was worse.. Tony getting absolutely pieced up by Gaethje for as long as he did, or Tony face planting into the canvas after such a brutal front kick from Chandler.. fuck man 😭
We need a juiced up reinvented TRT-Ferg
Hold on I’m crying brother 😢
awwww mma guru broke my heart
Did you forget about Chito Vera’s front kick KO against Frankie Edgar. I seen a meme today of the slow mo pictures and Ferguson and Edgar looked weirdly similar.
Honestly Tony looked good he dominated the stand up but got caught it happens 💯 God Bless both guys 🙏
Tony needs a tune up fight if he does decide to come back, but damn that was brutal and sad to see
watching the way tony dropped him in the first (and oliveira in their fight), stylistically it’s perfect for Conor. conors gonna drop him with every clean left hand he lands
I agree with you 💯
After watching this fight I know there's some ppl who had heart attacks.
For 5 minutes I was happy
I think Conor will take the Chandler fight. Chandler will play ball on selling the fight. I really see this fight happening, Conor see's the PPV potential.
What a beautiful career Tony has had. I hope that Tony doesn't leave on this note. Seeing him get KO'd like that really shook both my husband, especially. He was genuinely upset. I'm hoping to see more of him. Bittersweet ending. Chandler is amazing. So what is next for both of them, MMA Guru?
Yeah Tony’s my fav fighter of all time, so entertaining, I’m worried this could be the end of his chin.
Chandler with the motivation call out 🤣
Hold on brother I'm sleeping
izzy... Jiri... Pac man in boxing... Stipie.. Bisping... Silva.. Jorge all have great or good acceptable chins after being flat lined...and there's more.. I think Reyes will be alright too
The problem is Tony took so much damage in his career already and is 39 nearly
Ive never been so sad after a ufc fight
I’m so sad. Tony Ferguson is one of my favourite fighters :(
People already saying, “Tony is done”, bro people were saying Andre was done 15 years ago. Keep in mind, Andre got KO’ed like 3 times and TKO in 2016-17 alone, he was 37/38, the same age as Tony. I can do further research and easily find more fighters like Andre too…
People make it sound like Tonys last 3 fights prior to Chandler were all KO’s like Chandlers, when they were mostly wrestle humping with some submissions, it’s not like Dariush or Olives battered him like Justin.
My man Andre is a heavyweight and skills and speed don’t matter as much at higher weight classes. I’m literally a Tony dick rider but he is done. He hasn’t moved the same since he tore his mcl off the bone. They will feed him to young up and coming guys who are much faster and younger and continue to lose. And it’s sad
Copium
@@Notdeadyettt AKA you don’t have a retort and can’t even deny my logic, Andre looked worse off at multiple points in his career and he’s still there doing fairly well.
@@farikoliquidz4606 Nah Andres KO and TKO streak came a few times during his career and was worse. Tony will be back, Chandler himself even said post fight that it was a lucky shot he pulled off and Tony was piecing him up.
We’ve seen OLDER guys come back from WORSE runs, never once did I say Tony should be thrown in there with a top 5 guy anytime soon lol.
the difference being that tony is a 155 and isn't in a shit division like heavyweight where its normal to have careers into their 40's
What really broke me is Tony's face in the ring after the KO when they read the decision. You have never seen that look on Tony's face he looked like a different person. And he will be different now. He had no idea what had happened or how it happened. He looked like a scared little kid and he's usually el cucuy
it makes it all the worse seeing how happy he was after that first round, i can't imagine how tough that would be on him mentally, going from being that happy to completely devastated in the blink of an eye.
Dc getting inducted in the middle of the Rose fight 😂😂😂😂
6 months of insurance for every ufc fight? You get the insurance when you leave the company
Tony was doing so good 😭
I swear when ottoman jaws paddy I'm going do that stupid shock face he did when Tony got KO'd.
Get good tony and dont force yourself in there again. You are a legend and your legacy is already in the history books for eternity
Trevor Whitman gonna be mad after that one
So happy he lost both
He should be saying rose was up and talking about Charlie smh he’s lucky he’s got usman
Yup ui know about the football players scary . I am concerned hopefully somebody is looking out for him . Great perspective . The sad part of the sport
imagine tony plus a chris benoit
A lot of Olives knock downs are his way of baiting them to come get tapped. Once he saw Justin wasn’t gonna jump, Olives quit going down and just ate them.
What are the best NON-PC/woke MMA news sites/apps?
It's actually interesting to see just how rapid Tony's decline was after he got treated for his mental illness with pills and shit.
There's no doubt, the Tony who was paranoid, smashing his own house standing over his wife waking her up screaming in her face, running away with his son, etc, was the savage people remember Tony as. He's medicated, and the inner Aztec just isn't there anymore and hasn't been there for years.
Dude he looked great in that fight until the moment he got caught. Even off his back he had some nice elbows and was defending great.
They took Tony's shine 😥
Charles is the Apex Predator.
Pain
I think this the Anderson Silva vs Izzy point where he should retire but won’t. Hopefully he does though, he was able to bring back El Cucuy for one more round and I’m still happy about that.
I legit thought Tony died he was out on the canvas for so long
It's funny how almost all mma fans had this same reaction to the tony fight.... called my buddy saying old Tony is back lol. 2nd round starts. Phone is silent for 2 minutes straight
I still want Tony to continue fighting. And you know he'll continue fighting, so it wouldn't matter if I didn't want Tony to continue fighting.
His corner said "dont let him get those kicks off for free" then the first kick Chandler threw in the 2nd round Tony plants his feet and winds up a counter left. Its just so sad that he listened to his coach and it had the worst possible outcome.
It's horrible to see what happen to Tony in round 2! I wanted Tony to win but I knew the odds were huge!
Best thing that happen after tony talked all that shit use to be a big fan but that “brown story” starting to come out when he’s lost the last 4. Btw Michel is the best on the mic hands down
Chito clean ko'd Franky with the same kick walk away
Man it was so electric in the bar when Tony dropped Chandler… oh well
give tony all the tiramisu he wants
Never seen Ferg out cold 😮 very sad but he is almost 40
Tony the type of guy to age and get flatlined, hold on im snoozing brother CSO !
Chandler's foot had Dana White privilege
Chandler deserved this 100%. He fought so many great fights, was so close to winning belt but didn't. Tony on the other hand didn't deserve this. It kinda feels akward to even think about being happy about this situation. All in all sad to see fighter like Tony end up like this but I am very happy about Mike and I think he should go after Conor and knock him out too
yeah im gutted for tony but chandler has way more potential yet in the sport so im glad he won. still devastated though
He is on steroids bro
There is no point in Tony's career where he would have absorbed that shot tbh. I don't think it's that his chin was spent but it definitely might be now. It's not like he got caught with something he would have recovered from before, I think it's a different situation than Max.
All I could think as I saw tony lying there just shy of lifeless was Holloway in the same position. Made it extra sad
Jesus man was also thinking about tony spiraling after experiencing that. I hate that I’m not the only one that thinks of that lol just makes it seem more probable when everyone sees it I guess
If RDA will agree to it, run back Tony/RDA. I've got RDA, if so.
What about Olives going home with no belt tho
lets be fair that was a soccer kick to the face from a juiced up middleweight competing at 155.
Tony's chin is still there imo
Is a "shed" a garage in the UK? cause that looks more like a garage than a shed
A shed is a small back house used for storage typically.... he probably sheet rocked and painted. But it's a shed anywhere in the known English speaking world
It’s sad he seemed to be in such a good state of mind ... for Ferguson at least
Tony the type of guy to fall asleep to Carla vs Rose before it even happens
5 rounder him and Hooker would be good. High stakes and a good story, and potential for both to come out with new life.
Saddest moment in the history of mankind
Tony's career as a top contender is over but that doesnt mean he cant continue to be a draw and have entertaining fights. But the truth is he has taken lots of damage over the years and shouldnt take any more but tony wont retire unfortunately. Thats why people like him are fighters though.
The hall of fame thing was the worst time ever to do it retaliation tactics hmmmmm
