  • After watching UFC 259 Blachowicz vs Adesanya the biased commentary is starting to step over the line. It is time to fire Joe Rogan and warn DC that he is on thin ice, Joe Rogan on commentary is terrible, he is intentionally biased and needs to be fired.

So true. You ever notice the way he discards fighters? Joanna Jedrzejczyk couldn't be stopped up until Rose. Every fight, even when she struggled with Gadelha, he would heap praise on her, call her the GOAT, etc., basically the same thing he did with Rousey. Rose KOs her, and he instantly switches up in the rematch, begins describing Rose as the GOAT, and despite Joanna outlanding her, would only talk about Rose. That kind of stuff has a brutal effect on how the fight is perceived. I know some fights are close like the one I described, but when you paint a picture to people who aren't avid followers, they take the commentary at face value. There are still people alleging Izzy beat Jan for this very reason. He needs to retire from commentary at this point.

He's actually VERY nuanced and is capable of having 3 hour conversations with anyone. That's not easy. Yeah, he isn't overly confrontational on his podcasts, but you want nuanced. It could very well have been 2-2 going into round 5 with Blachowicz pulling it out in the last round. There were no 10-8 rounds, he was never near finishing the fight in either 4 or 5 and Adesanya got offense in the first part of both those rounds. The people who say Blachowicz won every round are full of it or just hate Adesanya. I happen to like both fighters.
