I don’t care for Adesanya, but the amount of hate this guy gets for simply being a weirdo is unreal. He obviously doesn’t fit into the stereotype of a tough fighter but he still is an elite martial artists. At the same time those haters seem to have no problem with Strickland bullying people in sparring sessions.

This interview made me appreciate Izzy more and made me realize that the MMA Community took Izzy for granted. Izzy is a true champ at least he cleared the division before asking to fight another champ in another division. Usman and Volk are another great example of true champions.
Been able to watch you two sharing your thoughts with nothing, but respect and deep understanding for each other was a pleasure. You two are a true legends of your craft!

I wish he didn't make the mistake of thinking his lane should be the money mayweather type heel. He's terrible at it. His real personality(that you can see in like 99% of this interview) is way more compelling and more than enough to sell fights as the hero. This is the first time in a while I've enjoyed one of his interviews.
