Is This A Good Pressure Washer? - STIHL RB 400 Pressure Washer Review

STIHL sent this machine through for us to check out along with a few of their attachments. They didn't say a ton about the machine except that it provided top performance and could stand up to daily use. We tried to test that out and this is what we found out.

I’m a big Stihl fan but that gutter cleaner could be a problem - forcing water under the roof. I use a hose powered version and even that is hard to use because you can’t see what’s happening.

Don’t believe this guy !!! Purchases RB 400 last spring …used it 3 times throughout the summer ….pulled it out to use a couple of weeks ago ….no start …sent it for repair ….total $ 175.00 still wont run …local Ace Hardware giving me the run around …done with Sthil and I have a garage full of it …dang shame!…BTW what good is the warranty?

This pressure washer is way overpriced. I’m a sthil fan and buy almost all their equipment but the power this produces and the cost doesn’t match up. It’s double what it should be

I bought the RB600. It was about $200 more than a similar equipped Northstar with cat pump ($1000). You have to compare machines with similar quality pumps. Plus Stihl warranty covers every component

Please do not use a pressure washer to move leaves across your driveway.
Use a leafblower first, prep. The area for pressure washing. You do not want cables, leaves, or your dog to be in the way. Use a pressure washer for pressure washing. The broom is useless to me.
