Hello there, this may be a little long but oh well. I stumbled across your channel about a week ago when I was looking up some info on irrigation, I installed my own and was just looking to see how others did there's. I seen the videos of your irrigation install, awesome job by the way, and then seen the video with ABI attachments up here in Mishawaka Indiana, literally 10 min from me. Got done with some yard work, putting them stripes in my yard and came in to cool off and get something to drink. I turned on the tube and started watching your stuff again and seen this one and thought I would check it out as I have some home power washing to do. Pete this video made my eyes as wet as that power washer was making that driveway. I want to say that you and your wife are examples of what this country needs more of. Because of your hard work God has blessed you both to be able to give back in this way. Pete, I wanted to say thank you. I do not and will not buy anything from your website ever. Only because I can't afford to spend my money on these types of things. I do however watch your videos and it gives me the knowledge of how things in the yard work. I can then figure out ways to with little to no money and some hard work to work on my own small 1600 square foot yard. But I know that with me telling you that I'm not buying things from you, it does not matter to you one bit. But I also love how genuine you are and how you incorporate Christ into your videos. I have 3 daughter's myself and am struggling to come up with money for my middle daughter's eye surgery at the moment. So this video really touches me. So again thank you.

It puts out 4GPM so you need about a 20-inch cleaner ( 4 inches for each GPM). Anyway, I will pray for your son and your family and it's ok to cry when you know that you are truly blessed.

Appreciate your review videos. Going to order that edge blaster for myself! I hate having to go back and clean up what the power head doesn't cover.
*16:22** Holy smokes! That thing is strong, 4GPM and 4200 PSI ain't no joke. Most of those surface cleaners have crappy oil seals and they only last for around 30 mins or less before the nozzles stop spinning and it's trash. The Dewalt 18" will work and I know and the 14" stihl one works with the rb800 also.*

I had same issue with my surface cleaner. I believe your power washer is putting out too much PSI for the cleaner. Need to dial it down to about 3000 PSI and cleaner will work. Hope this helps.

I had th same issue with a similar product. It quit spinning and became useless. Not sure if there is a better product out there but if so that definitely would help when pressure washing big areas.

Hi Pete! There are a few that are awesome. Here is a link to a whisper wash surface cleaner. It’s at powerwashstore.com. They aren’t cheap but they last forever, if you take of them. I’ve had mine for 6 years and still running strong. You can also purchase the Meg tips at them same store. Call them too, they are very helpful and knowledgeable. I do pressure washing and surface cleaning for a living. That little surface cleaner is not built for that much machine. Back when I was running a 4 gallon a minute machine, I used an 16 inch whirl-a-way surface cleaner. It has grease fittings and is a lot better quality than that little piece.
God bless you for being a blessing. As for the surface cleaner, it seems like your pressure washer is more than it can handle. I have a 2800 psi washer and my surface cleaner is rated for 3200. I’ve used it several times with no issue. I think if you can lower the output it will work better for you or find a surface cleaner that’s rated higher than the washer. 4,200 psi!!! Holy crap man. My cousin is a Stihl dealer and I buy at cost from him. Gonna have to pick me up one of those jokers. I think if you use pump conditioner before you use that surface head it will make that bearing last longer. Not sure if it’s rated for the psi you’ve got. Gonna have to check into smile as well. I love how passionate you are about everything you do brother.

Surface cleaners are amazing! BTW, they work great on siding too. Not sure if the one you have though. But I can tell you it's pretty important to stay within the PSI of your machine we matching up a surface cleaner. And that machine, is a beast.

Amen brother I'm crying and well I'm about to start my own lawn business and told my wife that I will be giving10% of all our income to a cherty to help kids that really need it that is my passion and I'm thinking we might have to do 20% now 10 for your mission and 10 for my mission I'm not worried about money God has always provided for me and my own these kids teach us all how to smile and remember how good we have it God bless you guys brother.
The RB800 puts out 4200# unless you adjust the regulator down. The rotary brushes usually just need 2000-3000#. The Stihl rotary brush is 14" and you really don't need wheels since the lift from the jets pretty much mitigate weight and don't have to worry about wheels hanging up. YMMV
Maybe read the manual before operating. Liked the video, glad you bought the edge guard. I have been debating buying it for a while or making my own. Thank you. If only there was a way to turn a pressure washer into a lawn sprayer that would be freaking awesome.

Driloc etch will remove them rust stains on your driveway. Just pre scrub the rust area before you power wash. Great video..

So the most likely thing wrong with your surface cleaners is the bearings are prolly flat or just blown out because to much pressure because I think your pressure washer is over the 3000 psi limit that that surface cleaner probably has I would buy a new one rated for higher psi

Hi Pete, those surface washers like your using have a pressure rating. That pressure washer you have might be to much for that surface washer. When I Bought my surface washer It was rated 3200psi. When you find the information on yours, you might wnt to check that. Have a Blessed day. Thank you for all you do.

Get yourself a Turbo nozzle! I have a Yamaha Powerstroke 3100 PSI pressure washer and i just used it for the first time today! its a game changer!
I have one of those driveway and sidewalk cleaners and mine isn't as nice as that one looked to be but mine did say not to use it with over so much power. I'd have to look it up but thinking 3600 psi??
