i know he existed, there were records of him sure. but no actual accounts of his person, conquests, associates, virtually no stories exist from his time only documented dates such as born, died, ruled etc honestly, google it. everything we know about him, aside from his birthday, was written after his death.

True - this is why Aristotle (also from Macedonia) fled Athens at Alexander's death - fearing assassination.
