Nicely done Brad! Certainly a bonus when you get everything done and everything works! Hope the shoulder is on the mend!
Thanks Ray. Yeah it is pretty cool having everything work!
Nice freakin' job man. Their crimpers are worth the money. There is a drag and drive coming in October and it will be Route 66 based (Sick 66). You can just cruise it or race in it. Let's go.
Sounds interesting. October is hard for me because if other stuff going on, but I'll definitely look into it.
Nice work on all the wiring....all of it. The kits certainly make it pretty foolproof. Hope the shoulder keeps to improve. Be safe and stay well.
Thanks a ton Brian!
Man, I’ve been waiting on a new video from you. Glad to see you’re up and around and back in the shop
Thanks man I appreciate it. Did you catch the video last week? More coming soon as well!
Great video Brad! The crimpers look like a must have and good feedback on recommendation of the American Autowire Kit. The garage also looks great now that it's insulated and drywalled in! One item I ran into with my '55 when going through tech at the dragstrip, NHRA wants a sheet of steel or aluminum secured to the trunk/back seat wall behind the seat if you run the battery in the trunk. It is in case you have a rollover that the battery won't come into the passenger space. I can't remember if you had mentioned putting one in in the past but, it may save you some grief at a future event. They have a minimum thickness for the steel and aluminum with the aluminum sheet being a thicker minimum than the steel. It should be real fun to see you out there with the '55 at some of these events and I am thinking about doing my '55 Bel Air sedan as a drag and drive car in the future too. Keep up the great work and I hope you continue to heal up well with your shoulder! Take care and see you Monday night!
Thanks for watching and for the info on the battery. I do believe, and I'll check again, but if the battery is in a sealed box, you don't need the firewall. My box has a top to it, I just don't have it on yet, so hopefully I'm good to go there. It's good to know I might have at least one visitor on Monday. Talk to you then!
A few dings in headlight rings don't hurt nothing it shows antique patina ,cars looking 👌 good to me, maybe DD speed can come help while your shoulder is healing 😅
Yeah I guess some pitted trim won't look too out of place on this scarred body. I imagine Dan has his hands full with his projects already...
Hey Brad how it going may I ask where did you get the crimping tools your using I like the way they work lots of crimpers are junk but those look like they work a lot better I do some wiring for people so always looking for good tools. Later Tony
Hey man, thanks for watching. There is a link to get the crimpers in the video description.
Good job with the wiring.. you either enjoy it or don"t. But I wish the led headlight fad would die for classic cars.
I dont know about the led headlight fad, I just know I'm old and suffer from "can't see shit" so I need bright lights. Thanks for watching.
1st Comment :) glad to see you out of the sling.
Light rings were just on temporary assigned duty to the 57 delivery.
Thanks Mike. It is definitely good to be done with the sling. Hopefully just a few more weeks and back to normal.
Could you tell me which Holley Retro Bright light you are using please?
You bet. I used Holley RetroBright LED Headlights LFRB155, Part Number: HLY-LFRB155 from Summit. Thanks for watching!
I enjoy all your video's!!! Thank You Sir!!!
