Don't ever oil that door...it is the classic and nostalgic door squeek😂😂😂. I had a buddy over one day, back when I was a teenager and he grabbed an oil can saying I'm gonna fix that squeek! I never got out from under that car faster than I did that day and nearly tackled him! My Dad's '55 and my Aunt's '56 had "the squeek" and it was always a nostalgic sound for me as a kid! I like that you put your line loc right next to the master cyl too. In the 80's, I put mine down on the frame rail near the headers and I have never been happy with that. I guess I always wanted to hide it but, being down near a heat source is not good. Your '55 has been a great build and I always enjoy your videos! Take care Brad, keep up the great work and I hope the shoulder is getting better each day!

Thanks Jeff. Yeah, I feel the same about the squeak, so it'll most likely stay. The shoulder is getting there, just waiting for the doc's ok to be more active with it. One more week and I think I'll get the green light to get back to life.

Nice work on the rear-end and bleeding the brakes. I've helped many. many friends bleed their brakes, and mine, over the years. The last time I just watched, we both watched actually, as my friend who owned the car also had a vacuum brake bleeder. You turn on the vacuum, crack the bleeder screw, the machine draws the brake fluid thru the lines, once there are no bubbles you turn off the vacuum and tighten the bleeder screw. No more pump, pump, pump and hold. This kit also comes with an attachment that keeps the reservoir topped up so it won't completely drain. It's quite expensive, but would be a useful tool for someone who does brake repairs for a living. Look forward to more. Be safe and stay well.

One of those vacuum bleeders would be handy for sure. Thanks for watching!

One more thing done. I’ve seen some guys that once the my tighten the crush washers will hit the bolt once with a hammer and then retighten them. It supposed to crush the washer into the casting. After the tap you should get about a 1/8 - 1/16 turn if it did anything.

I hadn't heard or tried that Nolan. Thanks for sharing the tip as I seem to always have issues with those things leaking. I'll be trying that for sure!

I don’t know if this qualifies as solo, Moose seemed to be helping.

Well you gotter done, great job! Never saw that brake fluid in the bottle trick before, have to give that a try! That was pretty rude of Moose showing off his butt hole in the opening clip! Cats have no manners! Lol
    Have a great weekend Brad!

Well I am glad I showed at least one person something new! I almost didn't put Moose in on the opening scene for exactly what you mentioned, but I figured it was just typical cat behavior so people would be ok with it. Guess I shoulda blurred him out... haha Thanks for watching!

Nah he made the scene, typical cat’s attitude! Made me laugh! It’s funny he likes hanging out in the garage with you. Hope your shoulder is getting better, have a great week Brad.

Never use a Red Wing sweatshirt for brake bleeding.
