I always have fun, except for when I don't... Thanks for always watching Michael!
Gonna be a busy man for the next while. The bumper looks really nice and the door jams look ready for primer. Look forward to more. Be safe and stay well.
Thanks Brian. Busy indeed. And time is ticking away so better get too it!
That's quite a substantial list you have there. One item at a time, hey? Cheers!! 😎
I know right? I though it was about done.... Thanks for watching Paul!
Cool stuff! Great video. Enjoyed watching ✌️ 😎
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching!
Back in the late 80's my dad put a Gear Vendors Overdrive on his 6.5 diesel pickup. He pulled a Fifth Wheel with it. I drove it pulling the trailer to Wisconsin. Kinda fun to drive.
Sweet. I didn't realize they had been around that long. More old technology on the baremetal '55 I guess. Thanks for watching!
one of those detail /touch up guns work well for jams, the bumper outer stands keep the bumper ends from shaking around, and you can shim them to get better fit, looking good!!!
Thanks Larry. I figured the end mounts would help a bit. Thanks for watching!
Can you use a strap wrench on the harmonic balancer to turn the engine 55 looking good
I though about that. I don't have one, but it looks like there is most likely too much in the way to do too much with a strap wrench. I may pick one up and give it a try though. I appreciate you watching and trying to help Dave!
Make sure your stumble isn't timing related. Nice build!
Yeah I realize t could be timing related as well. I have played with the timing and advance curve a bit, with no real success as far as the stumble is concerned. I'll figure it out eventually I am sure. Thanks for watching!
Wow the bumper looks great on there Brad really does with the bare metal look of teh sheet metal and nice to see Moose make a cameo appearance too. What happened to your live videos no more??????...Glenn
Yeah Moose had to sneak in there for a second or two didn't he? I will try and start the Monday lives again soon. I just took a bit of a break as I got busy with work again, and didn't really have any progress on the car. Hope to see you ln the next one!
@@MontanaGarage Yeah Brad I like the lives as Im involved with a few. Nice to communicate with people of shared interests and such Oh yeah tell Moose to not be so shy,HA! I have three cats..later Glenn
Wow - need to breathe after that ! whew .
You and me both Tim. Thanks for watching!
Edelbrock Tri-high 2 4's with 660 center squirters will cure the bog and hesitation, get that balancer bolted down, or it will come off under hard pull and tear things up, experience talks!
Yeah I should have tapped the crank when I had the chance. Next time I have to pull the rad for anything I'll be sure and do that. Thanks for watching!
Is there a threaded hole that leads to the fuel pump pushrod ? In front of the block, in line with the pump and perpendicular to the rod.
That’s the oil leak. .. not the seal.
I could be wrong.
If so a short bolt with copper washer and thread tape will seal it.
Even being born a Chevy guy it took me a long time before I watched somebody use a bolt to hold the fuel pump push rod up...
Yeah there is a bolt hole there, but I have a sealed bolt in it, s no oil from there. I can actually see it seep out at the front oil pan seal, so I know that is the leak. I appreciate you watching and trying to help Tim!
Thanks for the tips and for watching TT!
Add a catch can, even a cheap one to make sure oil vapors don’t get forced onto your headers or get sucked back into the intake. Neither situation is good for your intended use. Sorry to add to your list but this is simple and will save you future headaches while not hurting performance.
Yeah I think I will be adding one. I am still getting oil out of the breather even after installing the block off plate. Dang it. Thanks for watching!
Take the doors off it will give a way.better finished project and you will be happier for it.
I probably should... Thanks for watching!
