Hypocrisy is essential.
Well this is creepy and I hate it.
Mainstream liars trying to keep people from having own thoughts that are critical of the establishments. If these people loved their facts so much, they would acknowledge the facts that this virus is not crazy special compared to all the flu viruses that already exist. They just want to shut down discussion.
Martin Price I agree.
How many lemmings are gleefully open mouth clapping right now and saying “see? SEE? I WaS rIGhT”
This straight up looks like bland Orwellian propoganda
Cameron Martin I was just thinking that.
But if they explain it in a long way, then people will say "You're wrong! That's not how it works! Here's a doctor saying it so!"
The issue is no matter what any news Network uses or does... There will always be a group who don't like the way they do it.
What's sad, is how they convince their employees to go along with it.
That's because it is.
“The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command." - George Orwell
“What you are seeing and what you are reading, is not happening.”
-Donald Trump
The Orwellian influence is everywhere. Just because one guy says he is truth does not make it true. Believing it pushes us further into an Orwell novel.
'Physical Distancing' please
not any kind of social....
How many lemmings are gleefully open mouth clapping right now and saying “see? SEE? I WaS rIGhT!”
gypster2004 Lmao!! Ok New York Times, ok
Like the NYT would know.
“Bleach is not a cure”.😂
Coal covered hillbilly ikr
Trump supporters are a new level of stupid lol
ozone/UV auto-hemotherapy bruh.
It’s like if Trump said to wear masks the NYT would release a video that said eating cloth is not a cure
Trump hates are a new level of stupid lol
he was talking about disinfectant, never mentioned bleach
It bothers me that there is a keyboard click not per letter, but per sentence/word.

I suppose it could be more like advancing a PowerPoint presentation. But per letter typing would have jived more for me. Still an important message.
It bothered your parents that you were born with only one testicle
Bradley Daniels Wow your comment was so funny I forgot to laugh!
They're just really fast typers
Really? Just really? Because the New York Times definitely knows what they’re talking about.
Luke Duckworth what else would covid 19 be? why would the government want to loose money?

Cant believe these guys think 81k ppl dying is something to be scared of. 🙄🙄
RedMD guess what? Millions of people die every year! And ever since this CV thing came around, the mortality rates have only raised *marginally*. Just last week, the CDC HALVED the number of CV deaths. Did you miss that? Hahaha!
A message to the truth community from the transparent propaganda machine 😂😂😂😂 all this did was offer further proof that the masses are being lied to!!!!!!
We are safer when we are informed
By who
Why did the New York Times pay for a COVID-19 ad? Does no one one else find that to be odd?
This ad could've been done on Adobe Clip in 5 minutes. Settle down.
Fear mongering campaign to drive clicks to a dying media outlet.
No. Because it allows more people to see it. That's how ads work.
Remember what Thoreau said? -- Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me truth.
Putu Wiwid Budiastra, You are on the wrong CZcams page for that.
And He certainly wasn't getting it from the NYT....

STRAWMAN: THE VIDEO
Mexican officials are responding to false reporting of the New York TIMES of the number of deseased people in mexico. please respond.
He said disinfectant and strong light not beach. Its funny and dystopian at the same time for an add stressing the importance of truth to be lying.
How is him telling us to inject disinfectant into your veins any better? Please let go of your pride and think.
how is any sort of disinfectant ok?? does it matter if the bleach is strong or not? because it's LITERALLY still bleach.
The irony of the nyt saying that truth is essential 🤣
Orwell's Ministry of 'Truth' was not ironically named.
TBH, they have good investigative teams who produce quality articles that take months to finish... I like them
kar oma this ad should change your mind, it’s a fear monger ad meant to scare people. The imagery they choose for the ad isn’t what I think should be used to motivate people and to give them hope that this will be over soon. (Whether it is over soon or not is besides the point.) this ad was created to get clicks to their site, the same result could have been obtained through more uplifting tactics.
@@hi_im_sota Why do you discuss with a botSeeSeeSeePee account?
kar oma hahahahaha
And so The Toilet Paper of Record has spoken (newsprint's useful in times of shortages)
🤣🤣🤣😅. So then tell it!!!
NYT and truth in the same sentence!!! 🤣😂🤣😂
What are your sources for these claims?
Lol
Congrats NYT for setting up 5 strawmen in 15 seconds! True marketing innovation, what an accomplishment
Frank Band What strawmen? They just stated facts.
I hope you actually understood that comment.
The boy who cried wolf telling the villagers to stop believe the truth even if what your saying was true you've already lied so much so whos gonna believe you.... Who
Not to be that guy, but the boy was telling the truth in the end
@@jimmyshousevideos yes and same with the news no one believes it anymore and when an actual problem happens no one will believe them because they have lied so much already
You should practice what you preach
That is a very powerful message, delivered with a punch. Hats off to the designers, producers, and the New York Times for delivering raw Truth at such a critical moment for the entire history of man to come. You stepped up, thank you.

This news paper has a lack of the truth, ironic
The NYT talking about truth? 😂😂🤣🤪
Beautiful sentiment. And I agree. Just make sure you hold yourselves to the same standard you expect from everybody else.
How about that whole "It's not a bioweapon" hooey? Says who? And you agree? On what basis can you prove its *not* a bioweapon? Not saying it is or anything, Im just interested in those "facts" you are "agreeing with"...
@@chicenburger a bioweapon usually has near 100% killrate.

Only very few know the truth and they're not willing to share it, or aren't allowed to share it. I'm not just talking about this current nonsense. I'm talking about humanity's timeline on earth...
Wake up!!! Don't be misled, don't get fooled!!!
If so are you willing to tell us? Lol
0 self awareness.
Kevin Chang they’re definitely self aware. They know what they’re doing.
Wow this is like brainwashing....
War is peace, freedom is slavery, pizza is fruit.
The truth is essential, In 1851 NY Times founder, Henry Jarvis Raymond, published an editorial in which he supported a slave owners legal right to recover his escaped slaves.
What, 168 years ago?
The New York Times’ famous slogan “All The News That’s Fit To Print” was coined in 1897 by then owner Adolph S. Ochs. The catchphrase was meant as a declaration of the newspaper’s intent to report the news impartiality. Well, over a century later, the tagline still appears on the masterhead of the daily publication.
Now, here is one telling video that truly squares with the everlasting motto… AS EXPECTED‼️ 💚🗞️ 💙🗽💜
Sure I trust you!
I'm crying. This is truly art. Please tell me this will be taught in marketing classes in the future. This is the dumbest thing I've ever seen. Oh my god.
Thank you for your amazing work!
As a student studying marketing, this advertisement is amazing. It caught my attention before I could skip it. Great job
I agree, but more so due to New York Times reputation verse what they claim to represent.
I agree, the contrast between this and other ads is really nice. I wanted to keep watching
yeah no thank you.
"It's not a Bioweapon - believe us. We know Xi Jinping and he swore and told us that this is not a bioweapon." :D
This exactly. The statement is way too forced and way too early in the video.
The Chinese don’t even have to pay for a propaganda team these days

I searched “NY times Temar Bishop” and this is the too recommended. The irony. Nothing about one of the worst hate crimes in the past years, right in New York.
This gave me chills man. I just imagine going back in time and showing this to somebody in the 90s or earlier and seeing their reactions.
BS! MainStreamMedia IS NOT YOUR FRIEND!
@NYTimes - Absolutely agree, truth is essential and your paper is consistently excellent. However, there is therefore an argument that you should have options for those that cannot purchase a subscription to access all of your content. Essential truths should not be gated for only the more wealthy.
Thank you.
War is Peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength
“The truth is essential”

Yes New York Times, your new covid-19 awareness ad that has the appearances and sounds of a typical fear monger ad will definitely put the population at ease, fantastic work, excellent journalism, and applause all around for you new ad. It will definitely make people believe in your message. I can see your headlines now “New your times, the one place YOU can get factual news!” more on pg. 6.
This is how desperate the New York Times has become. Advertising that they're still relevant.
They are relevant, but not for Trump supporters.
Lori D could you elaborate? At the very least I’d like to better understand your point of view.
Like a movie 😮

But why do I have to trust you
How would they know what is truth and what is not?
Journalists do research and most countries have stated in their law that journals must say the truth. Therefore, it would be illegal to lie; the New Work Times would instantly get sued, and the fact that they are disliked by the tromp administration wouldn't help.
