- Hidden in the corner of simracing expo 2022 o-rouge.com had a rather nice left hand drive LMP2 Motion simulator and of all the simulators I had a chance to drive and play with at SimRacing expo this was the all round best to drive and use !

Wow, we weren't expecting this! Thanks for taking a look at our booth tucked away in the corner! We hope to see you again soon
Was fun to play with the stuff and most importantly having cool air on the bum !
@@GamerMuscleVideos Nice! We take pride in keeping your bum cool!
High praise indeed and obviously nothing to do with the sales assistant agreeing to pretend to like you on camera! 🤣
She had an explosive vest on that forced her to talk to me 🤣
It was the hardest thing she had to do that day! ;)
it's similar to what I have at home and honestly, a bit of motion, RF2, VR, direct drive, good pedals and some transducers and there is really nothing more you would want
...there is always more... with technology. ;-)
Love that seating position. Looks way more comfy than all these bolt upright seats and cockpits I see.
Great content from the expo GM ! Deffo the best out there!
Great vid!
Well set up motion and VR is the only way.I once you’re used to it going back to static 2D seems so bad.
Interesting that you giving ur first impression of the Varjo headset. I just ordered this very expensive kit for sim racing. I’m looking fwd to the experience in VR.
It's amazing for sim racing.
One day you will get motion for the rig at home! Would love to see a set up stream someday.
YES! ;-) A GM comparison of all the systems out there.
What a wonderful DD girl at the beginning!
deserves a thumbs up just for the socks.
Nice job with those socks in public space! Did you get to sing at all during all this time?
I like the invisible man standing behind you. You can only see his trainers :o
Teabag award. Hits different here in the US. 😂😂😂😂😂
When you did the 2 hour tour you passed right by this rig with barely a mention. Spent more time talking about free mints and usb fans. I was screaming at the screen for you to get a closer look. The dashboard looks cool as hell. Thanks for going back.
Lol brain gets cooked when you talk and walk for 2 hours non stop.
Guess we need to take those mints again for our next expo... Really lures people in :')
@@o-rouge2841 He needs mints after tea and a USB fan to cool it down. I totally understand.
That rig is fantastic by the way. Aside from everything else on it being cool as hell. That dashboard is what really grabbed my attention when he walked by it the first time. Glad you guys are on the scene.
have been researching VR and came across varjo Aero version what is without annual subscription. They also have VR-3 and XR-3 (true-to-life) new thing now for 6500euros. Aero is under 2000euros. I'm waiting for Aero 2 or price drop and will get PC all together for ACC. On PS5 ACC is amazing but PC VR must be better. Thanks for sharing
I wonder whether it's possible to configure the seating position as offset in the motion rig's software. That'd be quite more handy than having to set up an asymmetrical rig that makes it utter senseless to occasionally drive right hand cars in. 🙂
Yes its quite easy. Need to create a virtual plane and the rest is just trigonometry for the real-time embedded controller. Good point!
1:28 adjusting his "Gamer Muscle" and "Simucubes"😁👌🏾
Did you try the getcloser racing rig? Their booth was right next to the o-rouge one.
This rig/chassis looks perfect for prototypes/open wheelers. Can’t find it on there website though.
Would you say this motion was better or more detailed than DBOX? I haven’t been able to find much information on the Qubic motion and how it compares. Thanks!
I noticed you cut when you were getting into the seat and didn’t show how you got out. I think this thing would put me into traction after two or three times getting in and out.
Ok, but did it make the grass and foliage and shrubbery look good?
Never seen a rig considering driving left or right sided and never thought of it my own before, which actually makes perfect sense if you own a motion-rig (which I do).
Damn I'll never get this out of my head again😆
That fanatec f1 rig looks interesting
I recorded a quick video on it 👍
You do know that Varjo have an Aero ready to send you for you to try.
Couldn't the side placement of the seat be emulated in software?
Did you find that VR and the motion rig made it easier to tolerate the camera stabilization? Or is it as motion sickness inducing as usual?
With VR in RF2 the cam doesn't randomly move like it does on a screen. For some reason on a screen lock to horizon is not 100% lock to horizon but in VR it is.
Non matching socks :-D
Mismatched socks FTW!
Comes as no surprise Sonic had the coolest one tho 🤣
2 different socks 🤣
Don't we all do this?
How is that funny?
The best one is the one that not make me dizzy!
You know that you can adjust the "world scale" in steam? I have a HP Rv 2 V2 and run AC at 110% for example
It can depend on the platform if this option is available , some games also have the option to change it. But even if you set things up different from game to game and tweek it I still think sometimes things can feel / look off due to a multitude of reasons. From the game itself to the IPD on the HMD lenses used , convergence point of the eyes , focus distance. I think most people don't really notice it so much as they tend to just accept the image they see but when you use lots of different VR headsets you start to pick up on it more.
@@GamerMuscleVideos I can only talk for my own experience. I got my HP two weeks ago and immediately noticed that AC looked like I am in a miniature world. Just found it interesting that you mentioned it in the video... This option is available on all Steam games
Oh Simtrecs pedal set 🙄😌
Cheddar-feet
What motion is that please ?
I’ve just bought ACC for PC and I’m using a G29.
Im trying to my trailbraking down but it’s really hard.
It’s it best to run steering lock at 900 for GT3 cars or 540?
Any help is greatly appreciated champs
Set 900 and the game will automatically change it
@@benjimc1 Thanks Champ
Is it just me scratching my head but whats the point of having an lmp2 rig set up only to drive a gt3 car?, surely an lmp vehicle would have been a better choice? It would be like running american truck simulator on their go kart rig lol
"No one" would complete a single lap driving the LMP2 on rFactor 2. The guys who tried the Oreca on LowFuelMotorsport's multiclass races, that came from iRacing thinking that they knew how to drive an LMP2 had to eat humble pie for a few hours/days until they managed to keep it on the black stuff consistently.
Indeed …. That’s the reason we did not run the LMP2 at Simracing Expo. In the office however, it’s the combination of our choice!
@@valter_vava74
Yeah thats a good point i guess, if you havent driven them before they can be a handful. Just would've been good to see an lmp demo on it
Why didn't they run it in a lmp2 tho ??
Maybe too fast for average person to just jump into and drive
@@GamerMuscleVideos indeed 👍
I don't think they want people throwing up into the rig...I wonder if that happens often at these events?
An LMP2 in RF2 is too tail happy to run at events like these but … yes, it is the best combination.
Varjo + motion is the best
Not being to see your hands bothers me because of hand placement when you grab the wheel. Unless it tracks your hands I don’t know.
In AC you can do hand tracking but it's really hard on the PC. It will come eventually but it doesn't bother me
And here I thought the Wii Tennis was the best simulator....🤣
There are no prices on their website. Never a good sign......😒
Rf2 is the best VR sim. Im suprised you are suprised :)
"Human eye resolution" lol
They are getting closer IE you can't see the screen door and it almost looks as crisp like reality , though obviously lower FOV than eye.
But that's not Wii tenis! 🤣
Can't say that I'm impressed with this buffoon that Mr Dusoswa has got in to present his videos.
Just kidding GM - great stuff as always.
I was the best Laurence could afford for £1.20 and a jacket potato.
What is this VR headset?
Varjo Aero
looks a bit tight on the knees
The pedals are fully adjustable, but GM immediately jumped into the rig so the pedals were in a standard position in this video. The frame can be adjusted as well for the perfect fit!
$37,750.00....umm I will stick with my DOF reality H3.
I don't think there rigs are for the average home user ! People that know what they are doing can set up a killer motion sim setup all in for sub 15k and for 6k a person could have something still insane more than good enough for a pro to train with. But obvously lots of the cost is knowing how to set things up having it all working , the support knowing all the simulators lol all the "boring stuff" that simracer hobbiests love but lots of people hate.
That's something you can build up to over time. But as a one time purchase it is quite overwhelming.
You already be married before you get this. Any women walks into your house and this is sitting there get the tissue and lotion ready.
