I just wanted to say, for those of you working on recovering from a back injury. Even if it's a year latter. Push through that pain. Yes your abs are affected with a back injury and it's gonna hurt. This video almost had me in tears and screaming from pain. But I'm glad I pushed myself to do it. I just proved to myself that I can do it.
It's not easy getting back into doing stuff like this after an injury like that. It's going to hurt. I remember a while back having to go to physical therapy for something else. That therapist said, "you always going to have pain, with or without exercise. Exercise strengthens injured muscle. No exercise tightens injured areas and constricts every thing. You choose your pain!"

This was great! I also appreciate a quick Pilates sess to pair with another type of workout. I paired it with a short jump rope sess to do a fun mix. The pace was great, kept the sweat going. The transition from rotating from one side to the other, then we straightened the legs, THEN went into Rollup was a really neat sequence that gave great burn. Thank u!

I tried the apple fitness+ Pilates because it seemed easy and was suited for beginners but my back started hurting almost directly while doing the workout now I’m hoping this isn’t the case with this workout here 😢

I don’t really understand the inhale and exhale parts
I'm glad to find this video! I don't feel comfortable as a Christian to do the pilates workouts that include several yoga elements and this is the first video that doesn't name poses by the Hindu religion. Thank you so much!

Oh, I understand the confusion now. So the point isn’t that I don't physically want to position my body in poses that are also used in yoga. The point is not to engage in the spiritual part of it - the names of the poses, the spirituality that comes with doing yoga (talking about chakras and energies). This trainer is doing the exercises only physically and not accrediting the spirituality of yoga. Yoga is a religious act, Pilates is not - it’s more of a scientific, medical thing. As a Christian I do not wish to praise anyone else than Jesus, thus I refrain from activities that praise other deities.
